Moscato d’Asti DOCG 2022
Moscato d'Asti is an important part of the culinary tradition in Piedmont. A bright wine full of purity and natural liveliness for festive and joyful moments. Straw yellow with green hints, expressive aromas of sage, exotic fruits, apricot and peach. Delicately melting taste, the persistent perlage flatters the palate. A fresh, cheerful wine experience! SUPERIORE.DE
"The G.D. Vajra 2022 Moscato d'Asti was born in a warm vintage and shows fragrant aromas of white peach, tropical fruit, candied lemon and a hint of sage or dried jasmine blossom. This informal dessert wine delivers soft foam and more sweet flavors over a creamy finish." Wine Advocate

“Claré" Nebbiolo Langhe DOC 2022
Don't be surprised: This expressive, fresh red could also be a rosé and in addition it has a very fine, barely noticeable mousseux. With these characteristics, this serious fun-maker is a wonderfully refreshing and at the same time extremely tasty Nebbiolo, which with its expressive bouquet of crushed raspberries and strawberries is an ideal food companion or "just" spring or summer wine that can be enjoyed solo without any problems. For us, the wonderfully drinkable Piedmontese answer to the high-quality, dry Lambruschi of Emilia. Pure enthusiasm! SUPERIORE.DE
"The Nebbiolo Clarè J.C. 2022 captivates on the nose with a complex blend of crushed blackberries, violets, spicy orange peel and sage. Silky and enveloping with a pretty inner sweetness on the attack, it continues to impress as a wave of wild berry fruit and exotic spices slowly saturate the palate. The 2022 finishes lightly structured yet full of tension. Licorice and violet floral notes gradually fade. Its deep red colour and enormous depth make it difficult to classify the Clarè J.C. as a rosé. But in return, it is a real pleasure to drink. " Vinous
"The G.D. Vajra 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo Claré J.C. opens to a lean appearance with bright ruby highlights. It remains true to the grape, in simple or almost transparent terms, with fresh berry fruit, cassis, blue flower and iris. I love the punchy, electric quality of this wine and its streamlined approach. You'll love it too." Wine Advocate

“Coste & Fossati” Dolcetto d’Alba DOC 2022 (BIO)
Dolcetto d'Alba Coste & Fossati is one of the most sought-after wines of the appellation every year. A very dark purple drop with a bouquet of toasted almonds, cherries, tar and chocolate. Voluminous, long and rich on the palate, velvety and juicy with subtle sweetness, the gripping texture is impressive. Already a pleasure today and in a few years undoubtedly a great experience. SUPERIORE.DE
"The organic 2022 Dolcetto d'Alba Coste & Fossati reveals rich, dark fruit with a pronounced sweet side. There is soft cherry, blackberry and crème de cassis. The wine is quite plump and juicy in character, setting it up for pairing with wood-oven pizza." Wine Advocate

Barbera d’Alba Superiore DOC 2020 (BIO)
This wine bears the small-print name Viola delle Viole, although its fruit comes from the Bricco delle Viole and Bricco Bertone vineyards, two sites with different soil types, one providing structure and the other aromatic purity. Vajra's Barbera d'Alba Superiore opens with a dark, almost impenetrable appearance. Powerful aromas of blackberry jam and preserved cherries unfold on the nose. You can feel its warmth and richness and there is no way around it. It is a super-sized Barbera that goes one better in terms of extraction and intensity. The finish shows an almost sweet note followed by good acidity. It shows great aromatic perfection, length and a very accentuated style. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright ruby red. Notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, violets, earth and undergrowth. Full-bodied, structured, deep and fresh, soft tannins and balsamic finish." Falstaff
"The 2020 Barbera d'Alba Superiore emerges from Bricco Bertone in Sinio, just outside the Barolo zone. Black cherry, gravel, spice, menthol and leather confer gravitas to this very young Barbera. The Superiore has a track record of aging exquisitely. I wouldn't dream of touching a bottle anytime soon. This is one of the most under the radar wines in all of Piedmont." Vinous

“Pétracine” Riesling Langhe DOC 2021 (BIO)
The pioneer of Riesling on Italian soil is Aldo Vajra. Already fascinated by the variety as a student, he planted the first vines of the White Riesling variety in the Langa. Very light yellow-green in its youth, it develops into a strong straw yellow. The aromas of the noble Pètracine also take a varied course. Starting with peach and apricot, delicate floral and citrus notes follow in its mid-palate, while minerality comes to the fore as it matures. Harmonious and precisely structured on the palate, almost austere, fascinatingly complex and long. Great ageing potential! SUPERIORE.DE

“Kyè" Freisa Langhe DOC 2020 (BIO)
Vajra has not only recognised the potential of the Freisa grape with Kyè, but redefined it. The freshness of the grape variety is somewhat reminiscent of Barbera and has a similar structure to the Nebbiolo grape. An explosive wine with dark fruits, violets, minerals, menthol and spices. Insanely beautiful and multidimensional, the fruit remains primary and the tannins are firm. Elegance all along the line and quite Freisa at the same time, only without the old-fashioned rusticity of this indigenous variety. SUPERIORE.DE

Barolo “Albe” DOCG 2018
Brilliant and finely shaped on the palate. Expressive, floral notes merge with bright red fruits, mint and ground berries to create a lively and distinctive Barolo that is endowed with pure energy and class. Albe is juicy and fruity and a clear buy not only because of its comparatively moderate price. It comes from the three plots Fossati, Castello della Volta and Costa di Vergne. SUPERIORE.DE
"Just mid ruby and healthy looking. Spicy and stony raspberry and cherry fruit that is lively and with notes of red fruit. The fruit becomes more concentrated the longer it sits in the glass. Supple and gentle fruit palate with crunchy tannins. Long and with a certain leggerezza. Filigree and at the same time intense." Jancis Robinson
"Aromas of ripe raspberries and dark spice follow through to a medium-to full-bodied palate, with some fine, fruit and spice-coated tannin and a medium finish that firms up at the end." James Suckling
"This wine consistently delivers one of the greatest values to be found in Italian wine. The G.D. Vajra 2018 Barolo Albe has all its cards in play as an immediately enjoyable and extremely food-friendly Nebbiolo. This really is the top of the category in that sense. With straightforward winemaking, the wine offers bold cherry, wild plum and plenty of fragrant blue flower and violet. This vintage has the added benefit of softly textured richness." Wine Advocate

Barolo “Albe” DOCG 2019
Brilliant and finely shaped on the palate. Expressive, floral notes merge with bright red fruits, mint and ground berries to create a lively and distinctive Barolo that is endowed with pure energy and class. Albe is juicy and fruity and a clear buy not only because of its comparatively moderate price. It comes from the three plots Fossati, Castello della Volta and Costa di Vergne. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2019 Barolo Albe is a nuanced, understated wine, but also a rare Albe that needs time in bottle. Sweet floral and spicy notes open first, leading to an attractive core of Nebbiolo fruit. Gentle and restrained, with beautiful precision, the 2019 Albe is a quiet wine that is more about energy than grandeur. I have seen the Albe really blossom with a few years in bottle. I expect that to be the case with this wine as well, as it is very classic." Vinous
"A powerful and polished red wine with berries and spices like nutmeg and pepper. Also orange peel. Medium body. Fresh and energetic finish." James Suckling
"This is certainly one of the most popular and versatile wines made in Italy, and deservedly so. The well-priced G.D. Vajra 2019 Barolo Albe shows some ripe fruit and softness with cherry, dried raspberry and crushed rose. This vintage is similar in character to the 2016 release in that both vintages offer a linear style with good structure at the back. The mouthfeel is polished and long, affording accessibility and complexity too." Wine Advocate

Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d’Alba DOCG 2019
The Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba is the most accessible of Luigi Baudana's three Baroli. Precise fruit with wonderful tones of black cherry, plum and cassis. The intensity of the characteristic Nebbiolo liquorice and cola takes a back seat in this wine as the dark fruit is the leading force. This vintage brings the acidity and natural structure to carry the wine for 10 years or more. And so it is not surprising that this Barolo needs a few more years to develop its full class and finesse. SUPERIORE.DE
"Notes of spices, smoked wood and dried red flowers with dried raspberries and cocoa. Medium bodied with finely honed tannins and juicy acidity coming through. Polished and chalky on the finish." James Suckling
"The Luigi Baudana 2019 Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba shows the firmness and structure that this village is known for with pretty perfumes of rose, rusty nail, autumnal leaf, licorice and tar. " Wine Advocate
"The 2019 Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba shows the full range of Serralunga, but in the somewhat austere style that runs through all the wines this year. Dark red fruits, sage, mint, leather and spices fill the layers effortlessly. The Serralunga Barolo is rich and lush, yet super classic and hits all the right notes. It could well be the hidden gem of the entire Vajra range." Vinous

Barolo Coste di Rose DOCG 2019 (BIO)
The latest addition to Vajra's Barolo line-up comes from a 1.5 hectare parcel in Coste di Rose, a small MGA (Menzioni Geografiche Aggiuntive) in the Barolo region. This is a steep slope at 310 metres above sea level with a high proportion of sandy soils with good drainage, whose vines and soils are managed in a natural way. This very accessible Barolo presents itself straightforward, forward and impresses even at a young age with its refreshing frankness. A very precise bouquet of cherry, plum, liquorice, spices and menthol. On the palate, a wide and multi-layered arc of fruit with lots of juice and power, supporting tannins and a full, long and mineral-minty finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"Very perfumed with fresh roses and lilacs as well as cherries and raspberries. Medium-bodied with firm tannins and a slightly liquid palate, but should fill out nicely with bottle age." James Suckling
"The 2019 Barolo Coste di Rose is the most open among the site wines, but it is not the light-footed Barolo it has often been in the past. Bright acids and supportive tannins give the 2019 a taut, rather nervous feel. Crushed red berry fruit, mint, spiced flowers and earthy tones develop with a little time in the glass. The tannin is a little nervous and needs to be toned down, but all the elements are nicely balanced." Vinous
"An open, flowing red wine with solid tannins, showing aromas of cherry, raspberry, earth and iron. Accents of tomato leaf and eucalyptus shine through in the long aftertaste." Wine Spectator
"The G.D. Vajra 2019 Barolo Coste di Rose shows a darker core of fruit with dusty earthy tones and campfire ash. The grape skins were quite thick in 2019, meaning that less work was done with submerged cap and other extractive methods. The beauty of this wine is the mouthfeel, which feels rich, tight and silky." Wine Advocate
"It comes from a very small MGA of Barolo, characterised by the presence of a dune of Diano sandstone from the Tortonian period. It has a very fine bouquet with notes of red cherry and dog rose, with hints of white pepper and eucalyptus. The palate is juicy and balsamic, with iodine-rich tannins and great firmness." "Very clean red-berry fruit on the nose, together with citrus and cedar notes. Medium body with fine-grained tannins and a tight bead of fruit at the end." James Suckling
"The 2018 Barolo Coste di Rose is a delicate, understated Barolo that will need a bit of time to fully emerge. There's lovely purity to the fruit here, but also some angular contours that need to resolve. The 2018 is a mid-weight wine in the style of the vintage, and yet there is fine balance." Vinous
"Plenty of hidden depth of black cherry and plum. Notes of Raspberry and strawberries with complexity and a fine balance and length." Decanter
"With fruit from above the village of Barolo, the G.D. Vajra 2018 Barolo Coste di Rose shows a large aromatic scope and ample substance. This vineyard is characterized by very high density Diano sandstone, which explains the wine’s bigger sensorial impact. Its texture is velvety and smooth, and the wine offers lots of purple and red fruits with soft earth and perfumed flower. The vintage is open knit and broad in scope, perhaps lacking some of the brilliant focus you get in the cooler years." Wine Advocate

Barolo Ravera DOCG 2014
Barolo Ravera from Vajra is an earthy, rich wine with a robust tannin structure and a well measured acidity - an impressive wine, whose climax in the next few years can already be looked forward to. SUPERIORE.DE
"Tasted blind. Surprisingly dark ruby for this vintage. Brooding richness on the nose. Plenty of sour cherry on the palate and firm, somewhat drying tannins. This is still very youthful, and unsettled." Jancis Robinson
"This rich red is laced with cherry fruit and feels approachable now. Offers firm underlying tannins, along with accents of mineral and tobacco. Balanced, with a long finish." Wine Spectator
"A stark contrast to the Bricco delle Viole, Vajra's 2014 Barolo Ravera is a tannic, powerful wine. There is quite a bit of power and depth, but the tannins are also rustic and a touch rough around the edges. The 2014 is going to need time to settle down." VINOUS
"The 2014 Barolo Ravera is indeed a fuller and more structured expression. The bouquet opens to dark fruit, iodine and mineral nuances. Ravera is a low-altitude vineyard from an estate that is specialized in high-altitude Nebbiolo farming. That added power is well suited to this thinner vintage." Wine Advocate

Barolo Ravera DOCG 2018
G.D. Vajra's Ravera (whose site straddles the municipalities of Novello and Barolo) is always the most angular, powerful and vertical of their collection. It comes from soils with clay and sandstone at 320 to 340 metres above sea level. This is the ideal place for wines that show both power and elegance. The tannins are sweet, but every fibre of the backbone is dense and firm. Red and purple fruits with liquorice, tar and white truffle are neatly packed here, revealing themselves only gradually but then with beautiful precision and straightforwardness. The final has a wonderfully long reverberation, great! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, radiant ruby red with a lightening rim. Expressive on the nose, of wild berries, elderberries, also floral, then eucalyptus, plus noble spice, of black tea on the final. On the palate compact, juicy, with dense tannin, comes in several layers, energetic, salty in the final." Falstaff
"Lustrous mid ruby. Subtle, fragrant and concentrated and with fantastic depth and earthy minerally notes. Cherry and raspberry fruit with a hint of damson. Richly tannic adding chew to the juicy elegant fruit. On the finish, quite a bit of tannins that still need to integrate into the very long fruit finish. Compact and pithy." Jancis Robinson
"High-toned vanilla notes tie in with blue fruit purity. Rich and weighty with layers of fresh strawberries, raspberries, dried tobaccos, leather and earthy notes on the palate." Decanter
"This focused, fragrant red offers aromas of woodland berry, new leather, wild herb and pipe tobacco. The linear palate exhibits dried cherry, mocha and toasted nut set against close-grained tannins that leave a drying finish." Wine Enthusiast
"Rich, ripe mixed berries and perfumed bark on the nose. Medium-to full-bodied with some lightly firm tannin giving support to the fruit. Has a promising core. Give it a while to broaden out." James Suckling
"The 2018 Barolo Ravera is a powerful, tightly wound wine. Gravel, smoke, cured meats, spice, leather, tobacco and menthol emerge, but only with quite a bit of reticence. This deceptively mid-weight Barolo has a good bit of brawn." Vinous
"Seamlessly stitched together, the G.D. Vajra 2018 Barolo Ravera reveals tight layering and smooth texture. Fruit comes from an amphitheater of vines with Tortoniana epoch sandstone clay that is typical of parts of Barolo and Novello. What stands out here is the mineral character of the wine. It frames a dark core of plum, dark cherry and soft spice." Wine Advocate

Barolo “Cerretta” DOCG 2018
Cerretto is a fruit-driven wine of virile, explosive power that shows, among other things, how different the wines of Serralunga can be. Black cherry, plum, sage, menthol and liquorice hit the palate in a firm, tannic Barolo that will require some patience but already presents itself with remarkable freshness, purity and nuance. Cerretta is the embodiment of richness and structure of Serralunga. SUPERIORE.DE
"Just mid ruby with the beginning of orange tinges. Still quite tight and a little closed on the nose with an undertow of soft, perfumed red fruit. Youthful, elegant and juicy red fruit with a firm layer of chewy, lip-smacking tannins that add fireworks to the long finish. Super-elegant and at the same time very structured." Jancis Robinson
"Bright red fruit and a nut-cream note on the nose. Medium-bodied with very fine, firm tannins and a long, intense finish. Solid and focused." James Suckling
"The 2018 Barolo Cerretta is a potent, searing wine, its mid-weight structure notwithstanding. Scorching tannins wrap around a core of dark red/black fruit, gravel, smoke, crushed rocks, menthol, licorice and game. The 2018 is going to need a number of years to come around and for those formidable tannins to soften." Vinous
"The 2018 Barolo Cerretta offers good focus with a sharp and linear style that gives way to forest berry, wild rose, rusty nail and crushed stone. The wine is extremely direct, and that's what sets it apart. In that sense, this wine is faithful to the characteristics of Serralunga d'Alba. The soils of Cerretta see a layer of white marl on the surface and red clay further down; that's where those rusty sensations must come from." Wine Advocate

Barolo “Baudana” DOCG 2018
Barolo Baudana 2018 storms the glass with plenty of energy and intensity. Black cherry fruit, smoke, wild herbs, liquorice and tar form a compelling backdrop of aromas, flavours and textures as this dazzling, powerhouse Barolo opens in the glass. The intense final is accompanied by delicate rose petals, lavender and a subtle mineral-salty vein. Its stable tannin framework awaits a few more years of bottle ageing, as is typically the case with a classic Serralunga Barolo. SUPERIORE.DE
"Beautifully open-knit, minerally red-fruit nose. Notes of strawberries and raspberries. Succulent fruit palate with long chewy tannins. Closes up on the finish. Elegant constitution. Long and youthful. Promising." Jancis Robinson
"Ripe, musty fruit on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with fine, firm tannins and good drive on the finish." James Suckling
"The Luigi Baudana 2018 Barolo Baudana is a full and generous wine, somewhat surprisingly so considering the understated personality of this vintage. That volume makes this bottle stand out in a crowd of 2018 releases. Dark cherry, plum, spice, rust and crushed flowers make for a soft and readily accessible wine." Wine Advocate
"The 2018 Barolo Baudana offers lovely creaminess and depth in the mid-weight style of the year. Sweet red cherry, blood orange, plum, pomegranate and sweet floral notes all meld together in this racy, inviting Barolo. There's lovely depth and texture throughout. The Baudana is the most forward and immediate of the Baudana Barolos." Vinous
"Rich, exuding cherry, raspberry, plum and floral notes, with iron, tobacco and tar accents lending complexity. Shows terrific balance and depth, with a tightly wound structure that bodes well for future development." Wine Spectator
"Managed since 2009 by the Vajra family, Luigi Baudana's Baudana is fermented in oak then aged in large casks for 32 months. Open-knit with a stunning intensity of pot pourri, wild strawberry, camphor in depth and sweet violet, its graceful style continues on the palate with refined silky tannins - firm and slightly dusty - refreshing acidity and a slightly warming finish. The finish is austere yet full of liquorice elegance, and the woven integration it exhibits will keep this strong for decades. A major success for a vintage of often leaner wines." Decanter

Barolo Ravera DOCG 2019 (BIO)
G.D. Vajra's Ravera (whose site straddles the municipalities of Novello and Barolo) is always the most angular, powerful and vertical of their collection. It comes from soils with clay and sandstone at 320 to 340 metres above sea level. This is the ideal place for wines that show both power and elegance. Red and purple fruits with liquorice, tar and white truffle are neatly packed here, revealing themselves only gradually but then with beautiful precision and straightforwardness. The final has a wonderfully long reverberation, great! SUPERIORE.DE
"Ravera is one of the highest sites in Barolo, particularly in the village of Novello. This 2019 seems to be struggling to find its proper maturity - the nose is mostly fruity, with ripe cherries, but the palate is austere and severe despite good ripe tannins on the finish. It will gain complexity with time." Decanter
"Pretty fruit with subtlety and verve. Flowers and hibiscus tea with orange peel and berries. Medium body. Fine tannins and a fresh finish." James Suckling
"There is plenty of latent fruit in the form of cherry, raspberry and plum, as well as floral, tar, mineral and undergrowth aromas in this graceful and complex red wine that is rich, balanced and long, with well-integrated tannins that blend with the ripe fruit notes." Wine Spectator
"The 2019 Barolo Ravera smells of red fruits, mint, chalk, white pepper and orange peel. A Barolo full of excitement and energy, the 2019 is intensely bright and salty to the core. I wouldn't dream of touching a bottle anytime soon. This is a particularly tight style, even for Vajra." Vinous
"The organic G.D. Vajra 2019 Barolo Ravera (with fruit from the most sought-after cru in the village of Novello) reveals gorgeous tonality and color. The wine shines bright with dark ruby and garnet gemstone. Healthy Nebbiolo colors like this can be admired across the 2019 vintage. Ravera represents a union of different geologies from Barolo and Castiglione Falletto. The site has shown extraordinary versatility, especially in the face of climate change, to make wines of both strength and elegance. It is softly textured but also strong in fiber, with silky sensations followed by dark fruit and concentration. Ravera has a character all its own, and the operative word here is power." Barolo “Baudana” DOCG 2019 (BIO)
Black cherry fruit, smoke, wild herbs, liquorice and tar form a compelling backdrop of aromas, flavours and textures as this dazzling, punchy Barolo opens in the glass. The intense final is accompanied by delicate rose petals, lavender and a subtle mineral-salty vein. Its stable tannin framework awaits a few more years of bottle ageing, as is typically the case with a classic Serralunga Barolo. SUPERIORE.DE
"Aromas of cherries, raspberry liqueur, mint and minerals accent this tight, dense red wine, which is balanced and has notes of eucalyptus and juniper on the long finish." Wine Spectator
"The bouquet is dominated by wild berry and wildflower aromas, also fine spice; juicy in the mouth, the tannins noticeable, finishes long on notes of plums and liquorice. To go with a roast beef." Vinum
"Notes of ground spices, nutshells and cedar with subtle red fruit flavours in the background. Medium-bodied, structured and firm. Powerful and slightly tart on the finish." James Suckling
"The 2019 Barolo Baudana offers good power and ripeness with sweet fruit flavors, dark cherry, spice and ferrous earth. These aromas are characteristic of this site in Serralunga d'Alba. The wine is silky and generous on the palate, with salty minerality on the close." Wine Advocate
"Fermented and aged in large oak barrels, the Baudana shows great complexity and delicacy of liquorice root, smoky forest, rose and violet aromas, with wild strawberry and peony depth. The palate is firm and acidic, with structured but fine-grained tannins. It has the dustiness typical of Nebbiolo and is super-tart but fierce in character, with a hint of youthful rusticity on the finish. I would age it given its old-fashioned character." Decanter
"The most classic of all house brands, a wine with complexity and finesse. Notes of red plums on the nose, then mentholated notes of eucalyptus, juniper and fresh bay leaves. Juicy-sweet mouthfeel, with a menthol-fruity finish and a long finish capped off by notes of medicinal herbs." Luca Gardini
"The 2019 Barolo Baudana is absolutely captivating. Exuberant and bright in the glass, with plenty of freshness and remarkable fruit purity, the Baudana offers generous dark red fruits, spices, leather, cherry, candy, cedar, tobacco and underbrush. It has tremendous depth and exceptional balance. Rose petals, white pepper and chalk add to the intense, saline finish." Vinous

The noble wines of G.D. Vajra with their elegance and beauty are a reference for a world-famous royal wine. The winery has been in existence since the 1970s and is located in Vergne, the highest village in the western Barolo area. The Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera varieties are cultivated there, as well as the Freisa and even the white Riesling grapes, which were important in the past, in strict compliance with fundamental ethical values. The initials of the winery G.D. Vajra stand for Giuseppe Domenico, Aldo Vajra's father, who signed the founding documents of the winery in 1972, as Aldo himself was still a minor. His wife Milena joined the company in the 1980s and together they managed to bring the initially small company with today's top locations Bricco delle Viole, Coste di Vergne, Fossati and La Volta to world fame in Barolo production. In the meantime, Aldo's children Giuseppe, Francesca and Isidoro are entrusted with the work in the company.
The grapes of G.D. Vajra have always been grown close to nature. As they mature only late, the authentic, strong character and multi-faceted wines produced in the estate are of a cool elegance. Its aromatic finesse is brought into balance with a lively but well-proportioned acidity in beautifully modern and functionally designed cellars. The wines are traditionally characterized by a longer maceration and are predominantly aged in Slovenian barrels. In this Piedmontese winery, values such as wholeness and harmony are written in capital letters.
In 2009, the Vajra family, modest, hospitable and not by chance left their vineyard portfolio of the highest quality with the acquisition of the Baudana company in Serralunga d'Alba upgraded again. Here, in the heart of the Barolo area, two top-quality plants thrive in the top locations of Baudana and Cerretta.
The fact that the wines produced in the G.D. Vajra winery with great personal commitment - above all the Bricco delle Viole - are first-class is confirmed again and again by ratings in wine guides such Gambero Rossoas , Robert Parker, Antonio Galloniand also in the Veronelli Guide. SUPERIORE.DE
"It is a true amusement park of varieties and areas that Aldo and Milena Vajra have built over the years. Few wineries in the Langa region have succeeded in experimenting successfully with less common types of wine such as Riesling Renano, Pinot Nero and Freisa, while maintaining admirable stylistic coherence for the great classics. (...) With the acquisition of the Luigi Baudana company, the Baudana and Cerretta di Serralunga plots are now also part of the family business."Gambero Rosso 2015
