"An enticing blend of wild blueberries, sage, lavender and white smoke makes the 2020 Merlot impossible to ignore. It fades with youthful tension and lightly tannic, leaving tart blackberry hints to fade." Vinous

Ruby red colour, appealing, slightly reductive aroma of ripe blackberries and elderberries, quite dense on the palate, certain fruit sweetness, good harmony between juicy acidity and velvety tannins, elegant finish with traces of cassis. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Tenuta Regaleali Tasca d'Almerita 2020 Sicilia Nero d'Avola Lamùri opens with a dark colour and a rich concentration of pressed blackberries, Mediterranean herbs, black olives and scorched earth. You can feel the fruit concentration of a hot and sunny vintage." Wine Advocate
"The Nero d'Avola Lamuri 2020 opens slowly in the glass, dusty and floral with floral undergrowth and smouldering ash stone forming its bouquet. It is soft and pure in style, with mineral-tinged red and black fruits accompanied by a lively acidity. On the finish, tart notes of wild berries and citrus fruits leave a bitter aftertaste." Vinous
"On the nose, this wine develops rich floral and fruity aromas of black cherry, violet and rose petals as well as stony notes of cobblestones and gravel. On the palate, it shows its best side. A savoury blend of spices, earth and a hint of balsamic vinegar meets more berries. The tannins are strong and chewy, and the acidity is restrained." Wine Enthusiast

“Brolio” Chianti Classico DOCG 2022
Rich, dark shimmering ruby colour. Open-hearted, dense bouquet of blackberry, plums and a delicate hint of clove in the background. Juicy flavour, shows supple tannins, spreads out beautifully. A great Chianti Classico every year with an exemplary price/quality ratio. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Chianti Classico 2022 is a flavoursome, fruit-driven wine that can be drunk now and over the next few years. Juicy red cherries, spices, leather, tobacco, cedar and mint are beautifully brought to the fore. The 2022 has a lot of charm." Vinous
"The entry-level Barone Ricasoli 2022 Chianti Classico Brolio is bright, perfumed and all about that primary fruit. There is a strong cherry theme that gives lift and accessibility to the bouquet. This pretty wine also benefits from an elegant mineral tone that frames the easy fruit. A tiny percentage of Colorino is added to this Sangiovese-based red." Wine Advocate
"A textbook Chianti Classico, offering a fragrant juxtaposition of damp earth and spring flowers on a well-padded background of redcurrants, cranberries and sour cherries. Tightly knit with an elegant frame of light, powdery tannins and firm, steely acidity. Very impressive indeed." Decanter
"One of the impeccable landmarks of its kind, it is both balanced and complex. The nose opens with aromas of pomegranate, then notes of star anise and sensations of rhubarb. The sip is iodised, with hints of small fruits and nuances of sweet spices, closing with nuances of undergrowth." Luca Gardini

“Duelame” Chianti Classico DOCG 2021 (BIO)
The name Duelame is derived from "lama": in geological terms, the word refers to a kind of blade, i.e. an incision in which the village of Lamole lies in the middle of two high plateaus. Fine aromas of cherry and blueberry on the nose and palate, together with a pleasant spicy note and silky tannins, create the perfect and delicate picture of a traditional Chianti Classico. SUPERIORE.DE
"Ruby colour with a slight garnet sheen. Opens on the nose with notes of sour cherry and raspberry. Juicy, fresh acidity characterises the palate, then opens up with present tannins, still somewhat rough at the core." Falstaff
"Deep, concentrated red-fruit nose, which is just beginning to open up. Juicy, fresh and concentrated palate with gripping tannins and a tangy cherry-fruit finish." Jancis Robinson
"The Duelame bottling brings together fruit from the estate’s lowest (420 metres) and highest (655 metres) sites. It is floral scented with iris, violet and hints of thyme. Open knit, the palate offers crunchy red currants and cranberry with tart, juicy acidity providing the backbone. Light, fine-grained tannins grip on the finish, which lingers with a pleasant citrussy tang." Decanter

Chianti Classico DOCG 2021 (BIO)
Fine, slender and racy Chianti Classico from organic cultivation - and one of our particular favourites for 20 years. Captivating aromas, dense, firm body, deep and juicy, with well-defined tannins and a fresh and appetising finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark red; rather discreet; good acidity, juicy acidity, also fruit, tannic, not drying, length." Merum
"Brilliant, youthful ruby red colour. Beautiful, pure bouquet of cherries with mineral and savoury notes. On the palate, an impeccable balance between fresh, concentrated red fruit, juicy acidity and fine, gravelly tannins. Simply irresistible." Jancis Robinson
"The Chianti Classico 2021 is accessible and easy to drink. Mild cherry and dried raspberry, followed by almond, blue flower and peat moss. The winemaking is very simple and starts with spontaneous yeast fermentation and a short maturation in large oak barrels. You get good value, especially with this classic vintage." Wine Advocate
"The Chianti Classico 2021 is great. Bright and vibrant, with plenty of Sangiovese character, the 2021 is everything a Chianti Classico should be. Bright red cherry fruit, blood orange, mint, spice and tobacco all come through well in this juicy, wonderfully inviting Chianti Classico. The 2021 is one of the best editions of this wine I've tasted recently." Vinous
"Notes of cooked strawberries, red liquorice, blood orange and cedar wood. Medium body. Bright and racy with crisp acidity and a flavourful finish." James Suckling
"Discreet yet persistent, pretty herbs and spring blossoms sit atop glossy strawberry. While the palate is slightly austere and angular still, it demonstrates terrific tension and focus. Fine-grained tannins provide an effortless, unforced structure, while pristine raspberry notes are heightened by saline minerals in this midweight beauty." Decanter

“Misco” Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore DOC 2021
Misco, the estate's second top white product and a Verdicchio matured in stainless steel, exudes an elegant bouquet of floral and aniseed notes. On the palate, it is a magnificent interplay of juice and vigour, spicy tension, fresh citrus notes and aromatic firmness. It is one of the best in its denomination every year. SUPERIORE.DE
"Light golden light yellow; stale-fruity notes, mushroom; full-bodied, almost fruity, delicately bitter, lemony, also fresh mushrooms in the mouth, fresh, juicy." Merum
"Bright, sparkling straw yellow colour. Nobly restrained nose, mineral notes, reminiscent of wet stone, with some lemon and sage behind it. Lots of citrus fruit on the palate, fresh, crystalline clarity, salty, racy acidity, lingering, mouthwatering final." Falstaff
"This four-hectare, river-facing cru spends 12 months on the lees without batonnage in stainless steel tanks, giving it intense and fresh apple and lemon flavours, accompanied by floral scents and subtle spice. Soft and supple, with a hint of creamy yeast notes that emphasise the flavours of orange peel, juicy pineapple, peach and baked apple. Notes of white pepper emerge on the long finish." Decanter
"The 2021 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Misco offers a minimalist reading of the grape with very fresh and concentrated flavours of white flowers, cut grass, freshly squeezed grapefruit and a hint of white pepper. The finish has a tangy, electric quality." Wine Advocate
"The 2021 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Misco is wonderfully perfumed and lifted, presenting an herbal-tinged bouquet of wet stones, chlorophyll and green apples. This sleek and racy effort sends waves of mineral-tinged orchard fruits and hints of sour citrus across the palate, all guided by brisk acidity. Sour melon and inner florals resonate throughout the mouth-watering finish as a caking of minerality slowly cracks and crumbles." Vinous
"Always breathtaking, the 100% Verdicchio from Misco from a slightly late harvest. A multifaceted and fascinating nose, medicinal herbs, sage in the lead, tabacchiera peach, lily of the valley, with beautiful tension. Broad and crisp on the palate, horizontal, with excellent persistence." Luca Gardini

The British Decanter plays in the league of the best and most widely read wine magazines in the world and has developed into England's leading trade magazine for international wines and spirits since its foundation in 1975. And although the Decanter is still only published in English, it is read by novices and wine professionals in over 90 countries.
The monthly issues look behind the scenes of the wine industry and offer recommendations of the wines that stand out positively in comparison with the international competition. As part of the annual Decanter World Wine Awards, over 15,000 wines from around the world are tasted blind for an entire week in London, giving the judges significantly more time to make their assessments compared to similar tasting competitions.
The rating of the best wines was long based on the concept of the British wine critic Michael Broadbent, who has shaped Decanter magazine since its beginnings. Today, they rate according to the strict 20- and 100-point procedures, for which all submitted wines are divided according to country, region, colour, grape variety, style, vintage and price. The panel of experts includes expert wine writers such as Jancis Robinson and numerous top sommeliers who decide on the awards and medals, which is why the Decanter World Wine Award is also one of the most influential competitions in the wine world for many wine producers.
