“La Manina” Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2020 (BIO)

"La Manina - young generation. Fresh and cheerful, upbeat and yet always carefree. A wine for people of today." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Manincor Winery

The elegant and sophisticated form of the light summer wine: with La Manina, Manincor once again manages to combine the expectedly high standards and drinking fluency. Fruity of quince, lychee and pink grapefruit, followed by a fresh herbaceousness with sage and mint. A wine that can hardly be surpassed in terms of drinkability - and all in the proven Manincor style. SUPERIORE.DE

Sparkling golden yellow Sauvignon Blanc with intense aromas of grapefruit and white peach, full-bodied on the nose, then mineral and elegantly lean with fine acidity. SUPERIORE.DE

"Intense, bright green-silver. In the nose of nut butter and cream, ripe white fruit, a potpourri of peach, banana and lychee, elegant and inviting. On the palate racy and expressive, spreads across the tongue with an extract-sweet core, polished and present, lingers long." Falstaff

"A ripe yet subtle sauvignon with apricot, melon and pineapple aromas, plus touches of cassis and asparagus. Very elegant and super clean on the mid-weight palate, the mineral vibrancy married to a forest-berry infusion. Very long and precise finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification." James Suckling

"The 2019 Alto Adige Terlano Sauvignon Tannenberg (made with organic fruit) delivers interwoven tropical tones that are folded into peach, toasted almond, flinty smoke and crushed stone. This is a soft and silky expression of Sauvignon Blanc with a lean mouthfeel but lots of lifted aromatic freshness that embraces white and yellow fruit, instead of the zestier green fruits." Golden yellow Sauvignon with rich, complex aromas of ripe tropical fruits such as mango, papaya and passion fruit. Full-bodied on the palate, otherwise rather mineral like wet stone and with juicy acidity. Also in the long finish a harmonious exchange between austere minerality and ripe fruit. Lieben Aich is an original and rare experience for true Sauvignon fans (only about 3,000 bottles filled)! SUPERIORE.DE

"Herbaceous scent with hints of hay, freshly cut grass, rather ripe yellow fruits like pineapple, papaya (as green gooseberry), also a fine apricot note resonates. Rich, rather creamy Sauvignon Blanc style, yet very precisely infused with the finest acid wirethat contrast the smooth richness well." Weinwisser

"Brilliantly radiant lemon yellow with a green touch. Intensely fragrant of ripe pineapple, papaya, black elderberries and verbena, with hints of nut butter. Juicy attack with lively acidity, pulls through precisely and with traction, presses again on the palate in the final, long, fruit-driven finish, beautiful expression." Falstaff

"Breathtakingly refined nose with all the facets of the lemon, from the blossom to the candied fruit, the hint of oak effortlessly integrated on the incredibly silky palate that's as soft as a baby's skin. So concentrated, yet so delicate and so pure at the very long, crystalline finish." James Suckling

    • "Mason di Mason" Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC 2018 (BIO)

“Mason di Mason” Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC 2018 (BIO)

"The best of the best - this wine is not drunk every day. It needs attention, time to mature and likes to play the leading role: as the crowning glory of a festive table or even as a proud solitaire." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Manincor Winery

Noble and pure, the Mason di Mason Pinot Nero shines with aromas of raspberry, rose blossom, undergrowth and sweet spices. Elegant and seamlessly round on the palate with incredible balance, complexity and detail. A knockout Pinot Noir! SUPERIORE.DE

"Shiny ruby with a light rim. Opens with emphatic spicy notes, after thyme, then fresh raspberry and cranberry, in the background after pomegranate. Shows a lot of juicy fruit on the palate, grippy, still very young tannin, good tension and freshness, firm pressure on the final." Falstaff

"The nose of this incredibly deep and complex Alto Adige pinot noir is like an essence of raspberry and forest berries with overtones of truffles and forest floor. Great concentration, but thanks to the incredibly fine tannins, this is as graceful as a Grand Cru Musigny. The super long finish has stunning mineral freshness." James Suckling

“Castel Campan” Rosso Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2019 (BIO)

"You should take that much time. Time and attention for the best of our Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Perfect harmony that is only achieved after 10 years of bottle ageing. Dense right down to the tips of the hair." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Manincor Winery

Castel Campan - elegant Bordeaux cuvée of Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the oldest vines of the vineyard, where clay and limestone gravel characterise the terroir. Deep garnet-purple, redolent of blackcurrant, dark plum and earth, with hints of pencil lead and chocolate. Medium-bodied on the palate, well structured, with firm tannins and lively acidity. Long and polished. SUPERIORE.DE

    About the winemakersManincorTrentino-Alto Adige
    Manincor

Sustainable and ecological management in close connection with expressive regional wines - this is, so to speak, the creed of the Counts Enzenberg. Michael and Sophie Goëss-Enzenberg have been working uncompromisingly to achieve their ambitious and top-quality goals since they took over the more than 400-year-old Manincor winery in 1996, which is beautifully situated on a gentle hill above Lake Caldaro. With 50 hectares of vineyards, the winery is the largest winery in South Tyrol that exclusively processes its own grapes.

In 2005 Manincor started to work biodynamically. Two years later, the winegrowers and their colleagues founded the group "Respekt" in order - as it says - "to find a sustainable way to authentic quality with like-minded people". Since the 2009 vintage, the family business has been completely certified in accordance with EU organic guidelines and by the Demeter Association.

The Manincor Winery combines tradition and modernity in a unique and extremely consistent way. The almost invisible new wine cellar, which was completed in 2004, is an architectural masterpiece and one of the top locations. Around 3,000 square metres of space on three underground floors offer ample space for large wooden barrels, barriques, fermentation containers, stainless steel tanks and presses as well as for the bottling plant and bottle storage. Thanks to the charismatic cellar master and estate director Helmuth Zozin, a luminary in the wine world and a connoisseur of the biodynamic production philosophy, the vineyards and cellars are always up to date.

The fine, elegant drops from the northern Italian wine house are of impressive contour and clarity. Count Goëss-Enzenberg, also president of the Association of Independent Wine Growers of South Tyrol, divides the range of his wines into three lines: Hand, heart and crown. Connoisseurs attest the whites a unique refined elegance and naturalness, the reds are classified as unmistakable in their character. More and more, Manincor's noble wines are being appreciated for their high awards and best ratings in wine guides and trade journals. Thus, Slow Winethe winery regularly awards with the snail (Chiocciola), which stands for characteristics such as good, clean and genuine. The Gambero Rossocompany received the Special Award "Sustainable Winery of the Year 2016". The Goëss-Enzenberg family has defined the most important goals for the coming years as follows: they want to become as energy self-sufficient as possible and continue to work at full speed on biodiversity. SUPERIORE.DE

"Owner Michael Goëss-Enzenberg and director Helmuth Zozin have found a common denominator in the cellar: Respect for nature and respect for biodynamic principles without ifs or buts." Gambero Rosso
