“Vin Soave” Soave Classico DOC 2022
Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. Lively bouquet of crisp pineapple and white peach, with components of camomile, elderberry and a fine spiciness. Crisp on the palate with cool, present fruit, light-footed and straightforward, spans an interesting arc, very full-bodied and multi-layered, ending with a juicy, mineral finish and a subtle almond note. SUPERIORE.DE
"Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. Elegant aroma of apple, peach, elderflower and fresh herbs. Mouth-filling on the palate, creamy with precise fruit, juicy, medium-long finish." Falstaff
"The 2022 Soave Classico Vin Soave entices with a whiff of crushed stone and chalk dust, giving way to crisp green apples. This blends ripe orchard fruits with stimulating mineral tones and fresh acidity. Silky and refined yet saline in character, this finishes remarkably fresh, with a lively tension that calls the taster back to the glass." Vinous
"Glazed quince, marzipan and luscious stone fruit run along a medium-bodied palate that is carried by the typical salty acidity and a hint of smoke. A warm year. And you can tell. A blend from all the plots that are not destined for Foscarino. Only volcanic soils." James Suckling

“Campo del Lago” Merlot Colli Berici DOC 2019
Already the famous Italian wine critic Veronelli rated the Colli Berici together with Bolgheri as one of the best growing areas for the Bordelais grape varieties. This rare Merlot is dedicated to its creator Alfredo Lazzarini, whose vineyards Inama recently acquired, and it represents the history of the Colli Berici.
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate water edge. Spicy nuances of black cherries, ripe plums, forest floor, some jasmine and a pleasant touch of precious wood. Juicy on the palate, with good complexity and a chocolaty texture, round tannins and a discreet extract sweetness on the finish. SUPERIORE.DE

“Carbonare” Soave Classico DOC 2021
Strong, bright straw yellow colour. Characterful, youthful and rich bouquet of dried nectarines, peach, yellow apple, mint and a fresh hint of almonds. The depth of its texture is in perfect contrast to the savoury acids, minerals and notes of sour apples, but a feeling of balanced ripeness always remains. The finish is long and structured and seems to melt slowly on the palate, leaving savoury spices and a fine tannin behind. It already has a lot to offer today, but should mature a little more in the bottle for more structure and elegance. A wonderfully exciting interpretation of Garganega from a small single vineyard in the Carbonare region. SUPERIORE.DE
"Rich straw yellow with a green tinge. Delicate nose, apple and pear, some lemon as well as elderflower and dandelion. Elegant and balanced on the palate, precise, creamy, well-integrated acidity, lingering, juicy final." Falstaff
"Fermented entirely in the tank. A straightforward, medium-bodied force of minerals, quince paste, almond peel and Meyer lemon. Reductive in the best sense, with a tangy acidity and a latent vigour that suggests this wine will age very well." James Suckling
"The Inama 2021 Soave Classico Carbonare comes from a 1.5-hectare vineyard with volcanic basalt soils and is wonderfully fresh, lively and full of electric personality. The bouquet shows grapefruit, fruit, quince and spicy flavours with a hint of turmeric or dried ginger on a subtle, medium-bodied mouthfeel." Wine Advocate
"Like a burst of fresh sea air, the 2021 Soave Classico Carbonare opens with a salty blend of crushed rocks, lime zest and crushed green apples. This soothes with its round textures and fresh acidity, as a cascade of crunchy orchard fruits and mineral tones travels across the palate. Saline and full of tension, the Carbonare leaves a pleasant inner sweetness and a minty herbal thrust that lingers on. There is such purity and balance here. The 2021 was made entirely in stainless steel." Vinous
"This unique vineyard, cultivated using the historic pergola method, produces a Soave with aromas of fleshy yellow peach, jasmine, white tea and crushed stones. On the palate, it is structured and age-worthy with flavours of tart green apple, citrus and a mineral note on the finish." Wine Enthusiast

“Foscarino” Soave Classico DOC 2021
Foscarino from vines over 40 years old is matured for 12 months on the fine lees in used barrique barrels and stainless steel and is probably one of the most complex Soave Classico wines we have ever tasted. Bright straw yellow in colour with golden reflections. Elegant, inviting bouquet of light honey, dried citrus fruit, exotic flowers and a hint of ginger. Juicy and straightforward on the palate of layered stone fruit, precise and with piquant acidity, all proportions are impressively right here. Complex and multi-layered, it reveals new impressions with every glass and increasing aeration and ends in a salty finish, very exciting! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright straw yellow with a green tinge. Intriguing and profound on the nose, ripe stone fruit and a hint of white peach, camomile and elderflower. Creamy and round on the palate, animating, refreshing acidity, lingering, salty final." Falstaff
"Restrained nose, subtly mineral. The palate is soft and carried by lively citrus fruit. Gentle grip, with white grapefruit filling out the mid-palate and tightening the fleshy grip. Subtle spicy lining on the finish. Interesting development potential." Decanter
"Another brilliant expression, reflecting a culture of kaleidoscopic blending to achieve a greater whole: Tank and oak fermentation (not a new one), partially induced and spontaneous, all at once. Precision, depth and weight like a rapier, with no apparent excess or obvious winemaking artefact. Medium-bodied yet intense, with notes of smoked almonds, hints of stone fruit, pickled mango and kumquat. The finish is impressively smooth and majestically long." James Suckling
"Pure Garganega from the Monte Foscarino region, very refined vinification, with 6 months of wood fermentation, then a further 6 months in steel tanks, very fresh on the nose, lime, snuff peach, a hint of rosemary and a hint of hawthorn. Spicy and citrusy, with balsamic hints on the finish." Luca Gardini
"The Soave Classico Foscarino 2021 shows a beautiful aromatic intensity. It pours from the bottle with soft orchard fruits, tropical tones and a pronounced mineral note of crushed oyster shells or volcanic ash. This wine is pleasantly creamy and medium-bodied, with beautiful fruit flavours on the finish. This vintage of Foscarino is a hit." Wine Advocate
"The Soave Classico Foscarino 2021 seduces with a rich blend of lemony custard, hazelnut, young peach and wet stone. Luxuriously round and silky to the touch, it finds a beautiful balance through its core of pithy mineral fruit and lively acidity. It finishes with incredible length and concentration, leaving a chalky sensation that demands more. The Foscarino 2021 is beautiful today, but also made for the cellar. It was aged for six months on the fine lees in a combination of barrique, large oak and steel, with bâtonnage every three weeks, followed by six months in stainless steel on the fine lees. " Vinous
"Grown on the summit of a dormant volcano, this Soave shows why Garganga is one of Italy's great white grapes. The wine opens with apple and citrus blossom with a hint of acacia honey, followed by fleshy white peaches, Fuji apples and well-defined minerality. The palate is creamy yet taut, with fine acidity and plenty of minerality, accentuated by ripe stone fruit and citrus peel." Wine Enthusiast

“Carminium” Carménère Colli Berici DOC 2019
The clay content in the forest soils of this incredible, almost untouched area around Oratorio di San Lorenzo gives the wine a unique note. Rich red with blue-violet reflections. Intense on the nose with notes of medicinal herbs, ripe red berries, blood orange, pepper and spices. On the palate then very precise and clear with dark fruits, a delicious spiciness and tannins that are still firm when young. Already seductive today and then elegant and silky with increasing bottle maturity. SUPERIORE.DE
pepnose. Juicy fruit channeled through a dense network of dry, firm, super-spicy tannins. A beautiful lift of dried herbs (sage, rosemary, lavender and oregano) and, a bit like their Cabernet, this lovely savoury-sweet element that is like oven-roasted cherry tomatoes with roasted vine and white pepper. Very gouleyant." Jancis Robinson
"Dark ruby red with a violet core. Scents of thyme and tarragon, black pepper on the nose, paired with blackcurrant and orange zest. On the palate juicy, dense and compact, well-integrated tannins, goes with vigour into the long finish." Falstaff
"The 2019 Carménère Carminium is remarkably floral and fresh, exuding notes of redcurrant, rosemary and ground ginger reminiscent of pepper. It is a model of purity with bright acidity lifting the mineral red fruits while savoury spices swirl through the nose. The 2019 finishes classically dry and lightly textured, leaving tart raspberry notes on the finish. This is an incredibly beautiful vintage for Carminium." Vinous
"It has a complex nose of dried thyme, tobacco, sage, tar and blackberries. Also peppercorns and cloves. It is medium-bodied, with firm tannins. Finely integrated and concentrated, with a firm finish. Better after 2024." James Suckling

“Bradisismo” Cabernet-Carménère Colli Berici DOC 2019
1997 saw the birth of Bradisismo, named after the geological event that led to the formation of the Colli Berici. It is a successful symbiosis of the intense, concentrated flavour of ripe Cabernet Sauvignon cherries and the lively, spicy notes of Carmenere. With its bouquet of small dark berries, spices, pepper and chocolate, it is a wonderfully inexpensive alternative to the great Bordeaux blends or Supertuscans. On the palate, it has a velvety texture, with a mix of dark fruits, cherries, floral notes and fine tannins that glide seamlessly over the palate. Deep, long finish and very good ageing potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark ruby red colour with a violet core. On the nose, aromas of cassis, pickled forest fruits and green pepper, plus dark chocolate and black pepper. Fruity on the palate, present tannins, animating drinking flow, persistent and with a fine salinity in the finish." Falstaff
"The 2019 Cabernet Bradisismo opens slowly in the glass with exotic spices and crushed stones fading into blackcurrant, and is savoury and darkly floral. It's cool and racy in style, holding its power in reserve as a wave of ripe red and black fruit floods the palate with youthful concentration. Salty minerals mingle with rugged tannins on the long and structured final." Vinous
"This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Carmenere opens with deep aromas of blackberry jam, spiced plum compote and star anise. As the wine develops in the glass, notes of violet, tobacco and graphite rise. Stupendously well balanced, with integrated tannins and mouth-watering acidity that frames the generous dark-hued fruits on the palate, as sweet oak spices linger on the finish." Wine Enthusiast
"A balanced and lively blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere. Plums, blueberries, dark cherries, undergrowth, leaves, sweet tobacco and a hint of black olives. Medium to full body with fine, firm tannins. Structured and textured with dark berries and some chocolate character on the palate. Earthy with a hint of spice on the long finish. Best from 2025." “Foscarino” Soave Classico DOC 2018 · MAGNUM in gift box
Foscarino from vines over 40 years old is aged for 12 months on the fine lees in used barrique barrels and stainless steel and is probably one of the most complex Soave Classico we have ever had in the glass. Bright straw yellow with golden reflections. Elegant, inviting bouquet of light honey, dried citrus fruit, exotic flowers and a hint of ginger. Juicy and straightforward on the palate of layered stone fruit, taut with precision and piquant acidity, all the proportions are right here in an impressive way. Complex and multi-layered, it reveals new impressions with each additional glass and increasing aeration and ends in a salty finish, very exciting! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright straw yellow with a drop of light gold. Elegant and inviting on the nose, with a hint of dried citrus fruit, light honey, pineapple, minimally smoky, finely structured. Very juicy and straightforward on the palate, spans the tongue precisely and sharply, as if from a block, compact and with a salty, long finish." Falstaff
"Very bright gold. Tangy almonds with some baked apple skin on the nose and rich, broad fruit. Really good wine with depth and light smokiness and substance. Lasts SO long on the palate!" Jancis Robinson
"Aromas of pressed Spanish broom, ripe yellow stone fruit, hazelnut and cedar mingle. On the rounded palate, well-integrated acidity lifts mature yellow peach, lemon drop candy, butterscotch and toasted almond." Wine Enthusiast
"Showing a slightly off-gold appearance, the Inama 2018 Soave Classico Foscarino offers broad intensity and a very dry approach with lots of mineral definition followed by baked apple and pear. The wine is contoured and dense from a textural point of view, making it a great choice for white meat or tandoori cooked meats with extra cumin and spice. I love the angular or sharply etched side of this pretty white wine." Wine Advocate
"The 2018 Soave Classico Foscarino is honeyed and perfumed, featuring crushed yellow apples, exotic florals, hints of ginger and sweet smoke. The textures are soft with a twang of zesty acids that pinch at the cheeks, even as ripe orchard fruits soothe the palate. There’s a richness here, mixed with savory brown spices that add further contrasts, as this tapers off dry, with hints of hazelnut and an air of inner florals that seem to linger for well over a minute. The Foscarino is Inama’s throwback style of Soave, which macerates up to 12 hours and then spends six months in used barrels on the lees, followed by another six months in stainless steel. It’s quite unique and really keeps you guessing at what awaits each time you come back to the glass. Consider me a fan." Vinous
"This has a rather restrained nose of smoked almonds, waxed lemon and pear skin with white-pepper notes. It’s medium-bodied and delicious with layers of stone fruit, crushed shells and nuts. Spice on the finish." James Suckling

"Cassis and framboise through a matrix of dried oregano, tarragon and dried mushrooms. The fruit is perfectly moulded and cut by the acidity of the ripe tomato with a hint of cool, sharp spice from the tomato vine. Powerful but very refined tannins. Long and secure." Jancis Robinson
"Shows pure, juicy flavors of ripe black currant fruit, layered with pretty accents of violet, tar, ground coffee, wild sage and fine-grained tannins. Focused and creamy on the palate, with hints of fresh earth and forest floor adding a savory edge to the fruit on the finish." Wine Spectator
"The Inama 2020 Colli Berici Cabernet Bradisismo is something special, and not just because of its unusual grape blend. It is a full-bodied and particularly accessible red wine that offers great versatility and plenty of potential for pairing with other dishes. This vintage shows a soft ripeness of both grape varieties with a rich, full-bodied texture. The finish is savoury with a hint of pepper." Wine Advocate
"The 2020 Cabernet Bradisismo is dusty and floral in the glass with vibrant wild berries complemented by nuances of rose, sage and graphite. It has a soft texture and a pleasant feel with a blend of tart red berries and sweet spice enlivened by zesty acidity. A hint of fine tannins and a touch of black liquorice linger on the finish, which is lightly structured and spicy. It's a warm vintage, but the balance here is great." Vinous
"A historic bottle, now in its 20th year. Cabernet, with a significant proportion of Carmenère, cranberries and pepper leaves on the nose, a hint of undergrowth, a touch of orange peel, a spicy drink, with a citrusy finish." Luca Gardini
"An almost balanced blend of Cabernet and Carmenere, with an increasing proportion of Merlot and Franc. Purple vibrancy. Spread of green olives. Chilli, mint, dark chocolate and dense boysenberry confectionery. And yet the flavour, although full-bodied, is incredibly spicy. The oak is a seductive frame that blends effortlessly with the wine's density and modern, forward style. This wine is strongly reminiscent of a Bordeaux, with an added measure of finesse and richness." James Suckling

“Vulcaia Fumé" Sauvignon del Veneto IGT 2021
Vulcaia Fumé is an immensely dense and aromatic wine that demonstrates its sense of balance in a unique way. Deep, sparkling golden yellow. Impressive richness and opulence of passion fruit and other exotic fruit aromas, then blood orange, elderflower, a touch of iodised salt, flint and a noble spiciness in the finish. Spreads out colossally on the palate, with beautiful melting and excellently integrated wood. The finish shows smoky notes with some sweet vanilla and caramel cream. A Sauvignon Bianco the likes of which cannot be found again in Italy. SUPERIORE.DE

“Carbonare” Soave Classico DOC 2019 · MAGNUM in gift box
Strong, bright straw yellow. Characterful, youthful and rich bouquet of dried nectarines, peach, yellow apple, mint and a fresh hint of almond. The depth of its texture contrasts perfectly with the zesty acids, minerals and notes of sour apples, but always retains a sense of balanced ripeness. The finish is long and structured and seems to slowly melt on the palate, leaving behind savoury spices and a fine tannin. It already has a lot to offer, but should age a little more in the bottle for more structure and elegance. Beautiful vertical Garganega interpretation from a small single vineyard in the Carbonare area. SUPERIORE.DE
"Intense floral and mineral character to this with notes of ripe pineapple on the nose that grow in intensity on the medium-to full-bodied palate, before giving way to a long and tight, almond-milk and mineral finish. I like the progression through this." James Suckling
"The 2019 Soave Classico Carbonare is pretty and understated, yet with a lovely sweetness mixing peach with stone dust and hints of wet slate. This is round yet delicate, with a salty flourish that evolves into tart orchard fruits and spice. A primary concentration saturates long through the structured finale, with a citrus rind intensity that lingers. This is a hugely promising and powerful vintage of Carbonare." Vinous

“I Palchi” Soave Classico Foscarino DOC 2020
Inama's Garganega flagship is named after the wide terraces with rows of old Garganega vines trained in beads on Monte Foscarino. In 2019, thanks to the optimal orientation and careful cultivation, a selection of the best grapes was reserved for I Palchi, which will now only be released on the market in the best years in very limited quantities. It is the archetype of a Soave Classico from volcanic soils and a more than successful, independent interpretation of the Garganega grape.
Deep, rich straw yellow colour. Delicate, highly elegant nose of white flowers, stone fruit and meadow herbs, rounded off with a lovely spiciness and a hint of flint. Full-bodied on the palate, with a firm creaminess, dense, ripe fruit and complex, mineral components. A dream in velvet and silk, carried by a well-proportioned acidity and with an impressive final. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Inama 2020 Soave Classico Foscarino Grande Cuvée I Palchi has spent an extra year in oak barrel and shows some evolution with dusty mineral flavours framing stone fruit, peach and tropical notes. It is a soft, full-bodied white wine from a sunny and hot vintage that offers a higher degree of opulence and a subtle hint of sweetness on the finish." Wine Advocate
"Intense straw yellow colour with a drop of gold. The nose initially has salty hints, then noble, toasted wood, hazelnuts, quinces and a little dried pineapple, with a white chocolate aftertaste. Very creamy on the palate, very fresh and very juicy, shows great balance and a lot of tension, light creaminess supports the saltiness, balanced for a long time and very complex." Falstaff
"Aromas of freshly cut white flowers, almonds, peaches and melons gradually unfold. The mineral-driven palate highlights the wine's distinctiveness, with apple and lemon undertones. Layered and textured, this wine will evolve beautifully with age." Wine Enthusiast
"The 2020 Soave Classico I Palchi Foscarino Grande Cuvée unfolds slowly in the glass, becoming more floral with time as the aromas of crushed stone and flowers, undergrowth and pear transform. It is silky smooth, with a balanced and attractive sweetness and juicy acids that motivate the ripe apple and green melon flavours within. Then the minerality emerges, mingling with pretty inner flowers and ginger spice on the long and structured final. This wine could develop into a masterpiece. The Foscarino Grande Cuvée was aged exclusively in thirty-five hectolitre barrels in 2020." Vinous
"Beautiful nose of white peaches, mango, jasmine, waxed grapefruit, thyme and a hint of salted sourdough. Pronounced salty, ashy minerality. Medium-bodied, lively and structured. Stony and crisp, yet creamy and flavourful. A serious Soave. The second vintage of an old grape variety from the historic, volcanic vineyards of Monte Foscarino." James Suckling

"The Soave Classico Foscarino Grande Cuvée I Palchi 2021 is what they describe as the most representative target for this wine. Made from 100% Garganega, the wine is beautifully structured and fresh, almost crisp and very detailed with peach, honeydew melon, exotic fruits and crushed oyster shells. I Palchi consists of terraced vineyards with 50 to 60 year old vines that are trained using a pergola-rafter system. Garganega is a very vigorous grape variety. The choice of oak wood is carefully considered here." Wine Advocate
"The 2021 Soave Classico I Palchi Foscarino Grande Cuvée is a platinum-golden color with a youthfully intense bouquet that blends raw almond with stone dust, dusty dried flowers and Asian pear. This seduces with its silken textures and supple personality, washing across the palate with crisp, ripe orchard fruits complicated by a salty mix of savory herbs and minerals. The 2021 tapers off dramatically long and fresh, leaving a resonance of mint and liquid stone." Vinous
"Bright, radiant straw yellow with elegant green reflections. Appealing nose of ripe lemon, cold smoke, exotic undertones, candied pineapple, sugared coconut, cold herbal tea on the final. Very nice melting on the palate, with a racy-salty undertone, polished, with beautiful play, mouth-watering in the final and with fine length." Falstaff
"Wow. This is fantastic with mangoes, lemons, pears and a hint of vanilla. Mineral flavours too. Full-bodied with bright fruit and a lively finish. Lots of minerality. A selection of the best grapes from Inama in the Grand Cru Foscarino. Outstanding." James Suckling

Limitation of 3 articles per customer“Bradisismo” Cabernet-Carménère Colli Berici DOC 2019 · MAGNUM in gift box
Best from 2025." With its bouquet of small dark berries, spices, pepper and chocolate, it is a wonderfully affordable alternative to the big Bordeaux blends or Supertuscans. Strong, powerful red with good proportions. Dense aromas of ripe plums, blackberries and dried cherries define its compelling personality. SUPERIORE.DE
"Deep black/purple. Cedar oak, baked stones, ripe black fruit and flint. Rich black fruit holds the firm, slightly grainy tannins. Spicy mid palate and finish. Distinctive and food-friendly." Jancis Robinson
"A pronounced nose that beguiles you with its notes of cherry compote, darkly spiced licorice, tar, light vanilla and blackcurrants. Trim and foursquare on the palate, due to the firmness and vivacity of the tannins, but generous and endearing. Medium to full body and a velvety finish." James Suckling

Between the provinces of Verona and Vicenza, amidst the rural backdrop of forests and Venetian villas, Stefano Inama cultivates two close yet very different wine-growing areas. His vines thrive on the red clay and limestone subsoils of the Colli Berici and the extraordinary volcanic lava basalt soils of the Soave Classico area - so we're talking volcanic wines from northern Italy, among other things!
"Our aim is to escape the constraints and produce only the varietal notes of the individual grape varieties," the winemaker explains about his winery's production philosophy in conversation. What his vines from these two unique growing areas of Veneto are able to bring out in the wine glass is what essentially distinguishes his family-run winery Inama from other companies.
The Soave area to the east of Verona resembles a large, contiguous vineyard whose volcanic soils are considered unique in northern Italy. Stefano's father and founder of the winery, Giuseppe Inama, therefore decided in the early 1960s to buy up smaller parcels of land around Monte Foscarino in the sub-zone of the Soave Classico area. Since then, the highest quality Garganega grapes and small portions of Sauvignon bianco have been harvested here, enabling the production of elegant, mineral-floral single-vineyard white wines.
The cultivation of the red wine grapes, on the other hand, takes place in the Berici hills - an area in the south of the province of Vicenza whose potential has so far been recognised by only a few winemakers. "Here we have fallen in love with the natural cultivation of Carmenere, a grape variety that gives us great pleasure and will produce wines that are unique worldwide," says the Inama house. After years of research into suitable varieties, they also cultivate classic Bordeaux grape varieties here and with remarkable success.
The 50 hectares of vineyards (30 hectares for the white wines and 20 hectares for the red wines) are cultivated exclusively according to organic principles and without any herbicides or fungicides. The use of very light tractors has also helped the Inamas to achieve particularly loose, uncompacted soils in which the roots of the vines can penetrate deep into the soil. Sustainability is therefore very important on this farm.
With the support of their three sons, Matteo, Alessio and Luca, the Inamas push ahead with a remarkable precision viticulture, for which the entire vineyard area has been divided into micro-parcels and their soil composition thoroughly analysed - the qualitative consistency and the particularly expressive flavour profiles of the wines do not come by chance. This leads to very area-specific wines that show off the terroir and are not dictated by trends. They are exactly what we prefer to drink. SUPERIORE.DE
