“Famiglia Zingarelli” Chianti Classico DOCG 2018

Generous aromas of fresh fruit, dried flowers, a light spiciness and moist earth. The taste is beautiful, with just the right tension of tannin, acidity and fruit, as befits a straightforward Chianti Classico. SUPERIORE.DE

"Cherry candy, caramel, but also dried beans, herbs. Fine, sandy tannin in restrained doses, a lot of juiciness, behind the tannin also some melt, mineral notes and with an overall still closed aroma, clear tendencies to spice. Good perspective!" Falstaff

"Mid ruby with orange tinges. Spicy oak over chalky cherry fruit. Compact cherry palate with a fiercely tannic, dry finish." Jancis Robinson

“Re di More” Aglianico Irpinia DOC 2016

Re di More is an intense Aglianico that combines richness and harmony in the most beautiful way. Aromas of dried fruit, leather, tobacco and spices are perfectly interwoven with fruit, acidity and tannin. SUPERIORE.DE

"Aglianico class sings out. Massive grip of tannins without that much concentration or obvious oak influence. Correct and a good introduction to the variety." Jancis Robinson

"The 2018 Aglianico Re di More leads off with a burst of ripe blackberry preserves, complemented by a whiff of cinnamon and confectioners’ sugar. On the palate, soft textures usher in ripe fruits contrasted by saline-minerals over a core of vibrant acids and spice. The finish is long, leaning more toward the savory side, as tart red and black fruits come together with sour citrus, creating a cheek-puckering expression, as hints of youthful tannins linger on. From the bouquet, you expect a blockbuster; yet instead, the palate delivers a pure and zesty expression of Aglianico." Vinous

"Made with fruit from a single vineyard of Antonio Mastroberardino’s pre-phylloxera clone vines on the Mirabella estate, Piero Mastroberardino calls this wine a ‘baby’ Radici. Matured in small oak barrels, deep and brooding in colour, with a lifted floral perfume and hints of spice on the nose. Retains the classic Aglianico lightness on the finish." Decanter

    Jancis Robinson.

The British Jancis Robinsonwoman, MW, (*1950), is the most respected and influential wine author and taster in the world. And probably the most hard-working and widely travelled. She studied mathematics and philosophy at Oxford. She came to the subject of wine in 1975, when she was appointed to the editor-in-chief of Wine & Spirits, a traditional magazine for the specialist trade.

In 1979, she became the wine correspondent for the Sunday Times. Soon, as Jancis Robinsona columnist for countless magazines and TV shows, she was also known outside Great Britain. Wine-Spectator, Decanter, Feinschmecker, Falstaffand many other international magazines published their columns and reviews. In 1984 she was the first person not to come from the wine trade to pass the demanding Master of Wine examination. She has been writing the weekly wine column in the Financial Times since 1990.

Some of her many books became standard works of wine literature. The Oxford Wine Dictionary (The Oxford Companion to Wine), "The World Atlas of Wine" (with Hugh Johnson), and "Wine Grapes"in which she describes 1368 different grape varieties worldwide with Julia Harding (MW) and José Vouillamoz (one of the most famous grape variety geneticists). Since 2000 she is also present online and with her team of specialized journalists and Masters' of Wine she reports daily from all over the wine world.
