“Famiglia Zingarelli” Chianti Classico DOCG 2018
Generous aromas of fresh fruit, dried flowers, a light spiciness and moist earth. The taste is wonderful, with exactly the tension of tannin, acidity and fruit, as it should be for a straight Chianti Classico. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright ruby with a fine garnet rim. Very fragrant nose, fine cherry and some raspberry to go with it. Lots of grippy tannin on the palate, a bit drying at the core, straightforward and honest." Falstaff
"Mid ruby with orange tinges. Spicy oak over chalky cherry fruit. Compact cherry palate with a fiercely tannic, dry finish." Jancis Robinson

“TM” Rosé Toscana IGT 2019
Delicate pale old pink, in the nose apricot, yellow fruit and pink grapefruit. Delicate and fresh with a soft structure, which makes this impressively elegant Rosato from predominantly Merlot the perfect companion for mild Mediterranean dishes and seafood. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2019 T.M. Rosé is fresh yet also quite earthy, leaning toward savory herbs and crushed stone minerality, as notes of young strawberry and pretty florals come forward. On the palate, soft textures give way to a mix of ripe red berries and melon tones, carried by brisk acids. It finishes a bit short, yet with a mouthwatering, almost-salty quality, which just begs you to take another sip. There may not be unseen depths here, but the 2019 Tenuta Monteti is ready to give a lot of pleasure." Falstaff
"Quite zesty with a bit more structure than a typical Provence rose. Good food wine with something to get your teeth into. A satisfying rosé for the table." Jancis Robinson

An opulent Barbera wine with class, with the same high quality features, full-bodied and dense with an intense ruby red colour. The bouquet is fruity with hints of blackcurrants, cherries, chocolate and blackberries, the taste is deep and rich, the finish is long and fruity. SUPERIORE.DE
"Deep crimson. Lifted blackberry and hints of oatmeal. Sumptuous and exuberant black fruit with plenty of acidity. No tannins to speak of. Very easy to like, truly hedonistic and classy. Still lots of potential." Jancis Robinson
"A medium-bodied red with berry and nectarine flavors. Fresh, creamy texture. Drink and enjoy." James Suckling
"Plum and black cherry nose. On the palate the wine is complex, rich and muscular with a great texture. Long finish." Decanter

Chianti Classico DOCG 2018 (BIO)
Fine, slim and racy Chianti Classico from organic farming - and for over 15 years one of our special favourites. Captivating aroma, dense, firm body, deep and juicy, with well defined tannins and fresh and appetising aftertaste. SUPERIORE.DE
"Just mid crimson. Pretty nose of sour cherry with a hint of nutmeg. Lithe and almost ethereal on the palate. Tangy cherry fruit with sandpapery tannins with a touch of bitterness. Not hugely profound, all is set on elegance." Jancis Robinson
"A fresh, delicate Chianti Classico showing lots of typical character and brightness with orange-peel and bark undertones. Light to medium body, light tannins and a delicious, crisp finish." James Suckling
"The 2018 Chianti Classico is a very pretty, enticing wine. Crushed flowers, sweet red cherry, pipe tobacco, cedar and mint all grace this exquisite, ethereal Chianti Classico from Coltibuono. All the elements simply fall into place effortlessly. Silky tannins round things out in style. This is such a beguiling Chianti Classico." Vinous
"Fresh and fragrant, this has vinous aromas of red berry, blue flower and dark culinary spice. The bright savory palate doles out crushed raspberry, red cherry and baking spice alongside vibrant acidity and taut polished tannins." Wine Enthusiast

“Baccanera” Rosso Langhe DOC 2016
Baccanera is an aromatic Piedmontese cuvée of Barbera, Merlot, Nebbiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon. In the spicy fragrance notes of tobacco, plum and a touch of cloves. Complex on the palate with fresh fruit, beautiful structure and well integrated tannins. SUPERIORE.DE
"The lift and blackberry notes from Barbera, and the earthy cherry of Nebbiolo combined with a hint of capsicum and oak. Long, supple fruit palate with great focus and balanced by integrated acidity and grainy tannins. Embracing and concentrated but will gain in interest with additional bottle age. Internationally moulded but with proper Piemontese character." Jancis Robinson
"A pleasant and fresh red with berry and lemon-rind aromas and flavors. Medium body. Bright and vivid. Firm and fine." James Suckling
"Ripe black cherry and floral nose. Sleek, silky and poised attack; this has some charm, finesse and great ageing potential." Decanter

Chianti Classico DOCG 2017 (BIO)
Our pure enthusiasm for this pure, authentic, wonderfully traditional Chianti Classico, which the very likeable Ingeborg Raspi Juergens and her family have been presenting to us for years: Ruby red, finely spiced, with a refined depth of fruit, well proportioned on the palate, powerful, elegant structure, intense final. SUPERIORE.DE
"Mid ruby with orange tinges. Pretty, balsamic nose hinting at rich cherry fruit and with saline hints. Compact fruit that is not entirely open yet, followed by some fierce tannins. It will be interesting to see what this looks like in two years’ time." Jancis Robinson

Chianti Classico DOCG 2018
Castellares Chianti Classico with refined aromas reminiscent of juicy sweet cherries, flowers and spices like mint. Silky and polished on the palate, the final long and creamy. A radiant, seductive wine. SUPERIORE.DE
"Sparkling ruby. Opened with emphatically green-spicy notes of white pepper, with some sour cherry in the background. Juicy and salty on the palate, shows good flow, fine raspberry note." Falstaff
"Mid crimson. Rich cherry nose with a hint of stalks. Supple, concentrated, and tangy palate with gripping, ripe tannins. Ready to be enjoyed." Jancis Robinson
"Bright and fruity, this red boasts strawberry, cherry, floral and smoke flavors. Supple and open, this shows fine balance and a lingering aftertaste of fresh fruit, earth and tobacco." Wine Spectator
"Sweet-cherry and vanilla aromas and flavors. It’s medium-to full-bodied with round tannins and a fruity finish. Nicely done. Delicious now." James Suckling
"The 2018 Chianti Classico is an absolutely joyous wine. Bright red cherry fruit, tangy acids and sweet floral notes all run a translucent, super-expressive Chianti Classico that quite frankly knocks it out of the park. The 2018 is so delineated, so vibrant and just so incredibly delicious. The purity of the flavors is just remarkable. The oak needs a bit of time to fully integrate, but it already has over the last few months. This is what Sangiovese (called Sangioveto here) and Chianti Classico are all about. Best of all, the 2018 is a screaming value. Don't miss it." Vinous

Chianti Classico DOCG 2018 (BIO)
Lively ruby with bright violet reflections, rich fruity aromas on the nose, very typical of wild berries and sour cherries. On the palate fresh, balanced and well structured, with silky tannins and spicy accents. A classic of the appellation. SUPERIORE.DE
"Rich, deep dark ruby. Shows a little hazy on the nose, needs in-depth aeration, then rich notes of blackberry and mulberry. Very concentrated on the palate, dark berry fruit, deep." Falstaff
"Mid crimson. Savoury and a little reductive at the moment, but this is a cask sample. Gorgeous succulent sweet red fruit and gripping tannins. Very long, juicy and gripping." Jancis Robinson
"Reoccurring rainy periods throughout the growing season made it challenging for organic producer Marco Ricasoli-Firidolfi. He credits the constant winds inherent to the area of Monti in Gaiole-in-Chianti for helping keep the grapes clean and healthy through to harvest. While not immediately charming, Rocca di Montegrossi's annata demonstrates impressive concentration and tannin structure for this vintage. It is very youthful with great energy and freshness on the palate but still fairly tightly wound. I'd give it a few more months in bottle before approaching." Decanter
"A red with blackberries, black cherries and hints of sliced dark mushrooms that follow through to a medium body, chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Some bark, too. Always a serious Chianti Classico." James Suckling
"The 2018 Chianti Classico opens with a burst of sweet red berry fruit, spice and wild flowers. Exuberant and racy, the 2018 is endowed with tremendous energy and tons of personality. Time in the glass brings out the wine's inner sweetness and radiance, with a closing flourish of red flowers. This is a fabulous wine for the money. Don't miss it." Vinous

“Vallenuova” Chianti Classico DOCG 2018
Chianti Classico Vallenuova has the potential to become a favourite wine. It is the archetypal expression of Sangiovese from a single vineyard, which could not be more typical and authentic. Lively, sparkling ruby, in the fragrance some cedar wood and small forest berries, in addition spices, beetroot and white pepper. On the palate leather, tobacco and a hint of citrus fruit, in the final it presents itself pleasantly slender with a convincing drinking freshness. SUPERIORE.DE
"Lustrous deep ruby. Beguiling nose of concentrated sweet and spicy strawberry and cherry fruit with notes of cooked rhubarb and a hint of iron. Succulent and tangy strawberry and cherry on the palate with velvety tannins. An elegant, truly satisfying wine, and a much better deal than entry-level burgundy, for sure." Jancis Robinson
"Aromas of plums, cherries and hints of balsamic and citrus fruit follow through to a medium body, light tannins and a fresh finish with lively acidity." James Suckling

She studied mathematics and philosophy at Oxford. She came to the subject of wine in 1975, when she was appointed to the editor-in-chief of Wine & Spirits, a traditional magazine for the specialist trade.
In 1979, she became the wine correspondent for the Sunday Times. Soon, as Jancis Robinsona columnist for countless magazines and TV shows, she was also known outside Great Britain. Wine-Spectator, Decanter, Feinschmecker, Falstaffand many other international magazines published their columns and reviews. In 1984 she was the first person not to come from the wine trade to pass the demanding Master of Wine examination. She has been writing the weekly wine column in the Financial Times since 1990.
Some of her many books became standard works of wine literature. The Oxford Wine Dictionary (The Oxford Companion to Wine), "The World Atlas of Wine" (with Hugh Johnson), and "Wine Grapes"in which she describes 1368 different grape varieties worldwide with Julia Harding (MW) and José Vouillamoz (one of the most famous grape variety geneticists).
