    • "Conti Zecca Mendola" Fiano del Salento IGT 2017

“Conti Zecca Mendola” Fiano del Salento IGT 2017

Hello! here comes no white, banal and arbitrary terrace wine from Apulia in the wo-always-usual 6+6 package! Rich straw yellow, fresh, floral scent and clear fruit of white peaches and some honey. The intense taste is firm and fresh with mineral hints, round, juicy and long in the aftertaste. The complexity of this wine for this price class surprises us very much, this is Apulia of the new generation. Good length and storage potential - ideal with grilled fish dishes, Mediterranean vegetable pans or light terrines. SUPERIORE.DE

"A great floral, honey nose. Some real power, yet this is diamond-bright with a long and dramatic, steely finish. Stunning fiano for Puglia." James Suckling

“Le Cinciole” Chianti Classico DOCG 2016 (BIO)

Floral aromas and the scent of light red fruits, with undertones of tobacco, foliage and menthol, which in the glass develop into a successful terroir wine that preserves the fragrance and primary aromas of the young Sangiovese. Pleasantly medium-bodied and authentic. SUPERIORE.DE

"Medium intensive red; warm fruit notes, depth, inviting, round base, juicy acidity, intact fruit, fine tart, very beautiful, also length. Merum

"Le Cinciole's 2016 Chianti Classico is gorgeous. Fresh, floral and light on its feet, the 2016 offers striking Sangiovese character in its flavor profile and overall structure. Sweet red cherry, mint, pine and freshly cut flowers add to the wine's lithe, refined personality. The 2016 is all class, all the way, not to mention a huge overachiever in its peer group." Vinous

"In 1991 Luca and Valeria Orsini left their jobs in Milan to make wine in Tuscany. Their estate includes 10 hectares of southeast facing vineyards in Panzano and the wines have been certified organic from 2000. A standout 2016 annata, this is discreet with understated scents of cherry blossom, heather and rose. The palate is decidedly red fruited with currants and raspberry embraced by finely textured, powdery persistent tannins. It has beautiful energy and above all allows Sangiovese's true charms to shine through." Decanter

Deep dark Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva with a beguiling scent of dark red cherries and berry fruits, along with earthy notes, tar, spices and liquorice. "A mouthful of wine" in an incredibly appealing style. Spelt has a remarkable concentration and excellent length. SUPERIORE.DE

"Bright, shining ruby grenade. In the nose of ripe forest berries and raspberries, elegant fruit, delicate spice, in the aftertaste of bread crust and light leather. Juicy and clear on the palate, spreads elegantly, crisp fruit with tightly woven tannin, appears very young, in the aftertaste again juicy and slightly salty, good and safe ripening potential." Things to know about
    slow wine
    slow wine

The Guide Slow-Wine, published for the first time in 2010, emerged from the Slow-Food movement after it was Gambero Rossoseparated from it. The well-known Italian wine critics Giancarlo Gariglio and Fabio Giavedoni were able to win over around 200 experienced tasters for their new project.

More than 21,000 wines from over 2,000 wineries were tasted, of which almost 1,900 made it into the Guide. 8,500 wines were recorded.

There is no scoring, but descriptions of the company philosophy, the vineyard locations and the wines that the tasters particularly liked. The ecological way of thinking, regional grape varieties and fair prices are important. SUPERIORE.DE

    Vino Slow:
Wines which, in addition to their outstanding organoleptic characteristics, also express the terroir, history and environment of their place of origin. Similarly, their price/performance ratio is right, taking into account the place and time of their manufacture. Only about 200 of the tasted wines receive this highest possible rating every year.

    Great wine:
    Wines with excellent organoleptic characteristics.

    Everyday wine:
wines with an excellent price-performance ratio, offered on the market for a maximum of 12€.
