• "Dirupo" Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG (2019) Brut

“Dirupo” Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG (2019) Brut

Dirupo Brut presents itself crystal clear and clean. Fresh aroma with delicate floral notes, elegant and with fine perlage on the palate. Enjoy this Prosecco as an aperitivo or as an excellent companion to light meals. SUPERIORE.DE

"Bright, brilliant light yellow with persistent perlage. Fragrant on the nose, of freshly cut meadow herbs and juicy citrus. On the palate juicy, very dense and clear, yet light on its feet, of lemon with pleasantly embedded perlage, long." Falstaff

"Elegant scents of white flowers. The palate has an elegant creamy texture and notes of citrus and apple. Long, crisp finish." Decanter

"The 2019 Valdobbiadene Brut Dirupo is intense with its display of spiced apples and apricots, backed by hints of white pepper and crushed stone. There’s amazing depth and concentration to be found within, feeling almost weighty on the palate yet propelled by vibrant acids. Its fruits are ripe, yet this doesn’t come across as sweet. A hint of tropical citrus lingers along with a final flourish of minerality. While this is the entry-level Prosecco in my lineup from Andreola, it’s hard to imagine it getting better from here - but it does!" Vinous

“Más de Fer” Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore Rive di Soligo DOCG (2019) Extra Dry

Más de Fer is made from selected grapes from the hills of Col de Fer and San Gallo. An exquisite cru that smells of meadow blossoms and is the ideal companion from amuse-gueule to dessert with its pronounced fruitiness and delicate acidity. SUPERIORE.DE

"Brilliant, intense straw yellow with persistent perlage. In the nose fragrant, clear, very compact and precise, after white flowers and yellow fruits. Balanced on the palate, with pressure, well embedded perlage, long, mineral." Falstaff

"The 2019 Valdobbiadene Rive di Soligo Extra Dry Mas de Fer keeps you at the edge of the glass with a rich display of minty herbs, chamomile, apples and stone dust. It fills the mouth with silken textural bubbles, yet it comes across as refined and drier than expected. The real pleasure to be found here is the feel on the palate, which is seamless and soothing, as acids and cleansing minerals frame the expression throughout the finale, leaving the senses completely refreshed." • "26° Primo" Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore Rive di Col San Martino DOCG (2019) Extra Brut

“26° Primo” Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore Rive di Col San Martino DOCG (2019) Extra Brut

Finely balanced and very elegant Prosecco Spumante Superiore of shiny gold color with green reflections. Floral bouquet, fine perlage and elegant aromas of pear and white fruits that give elegance and length to the dry taste. SUPERIORE.DE

"Fresh-fruited, green-apple, inviting; smooth, dry, fruit length too, pleases well." (JLF) Merum

"Sparkling, light straw yellow with green notes. Exceedingly fragrant and fresh on the nose, of fresh yellow apple, some banana and acacia blossom, animating. Round and balanced in attack and progression, fills out the palate great, yet remains light-bodied, long final." Falstaff

"The 2019 Valdobbiadene Extra Brut 26° Primo from the Rive di Col San Martino is heavily perfumed with masses of white and yellow flowers complemented by a note of crushed ripe apples. This is a sharply focused and mineral-driven effort, far from the average, easy-drinking Prosecco most people are accustomed to. Instead, I find a savory display of spice and wild herbs before giving way to tart orchard fruits. While mouthwatering and refreshing, this finishes incredibly long and almost salty. Also worth pointing out are the back labels from Andreola’s Rive lineup, which outline their vineyards and, in this case, the grams per liter of residual sugar, which is zero. Consider me a fan." • "Vigne dei Piai" Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore Rive di Rolle DOCG (2019) Dry

“Vigne dei Piai” Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore Rive di Rolle DOCG (2019) Dry

Vigne dei Piai is a fantastic Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore from the Rive di Rolle vineyard. Pleasantly soft, fine bubbling, with fresh apple scent and invigorating taste. SUPERIORE.DE

"Brilliant, bright straw yellow with persistent perlage. Fragrant nose of jasmine, freshly cut apple, mint, in the reverberation of white peach. Shows itself at the palate very harmoniously, elegant sweetness carries the filigree perlage, loosely and complexly, stretches long and clearly over the tongue, extremely balanced final." Falstaff

"The 2019 Valdobbiadene Rive di Rolle Dry Vigne dei Piai is a more understated yet still wonderfully floral effort, mixing white smoke with dusty dried flowers and hints of pear. The textures are silky and, as the Dry category would suggest, there’s a bit more inner sweetness here, which is perfectly balanced by juicy acids and a creamy bead of fine bubbles. This is pleasure in a bottle, as sweet apple and hints of nectarine slowly taper off through the finish." Vinous

“Col del Forno” Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore Rive di Refrontolo DOCG (2019) Brut

Andreolas Col del Forno Brut is an elegant and balanced Prosecco from an excellent Rive site. Decent, fresh fragrance of green apple and young pear, delicate yet demanding on the palate with a drinkable, citrus note. SUPERIORE.DE

"Fresh fruity, inviting; very fine foam, subtle fruit, fresh, fine structure, bittersweet, drinkable, practically dry, balanced." (JLF) Merum

"Bright, rich, brilliant light gold with persistent perlage. In the nose slightly sulphurous, mineral, after salt. Very fresh on the palate with effervescent and young perlage, particularly crisp, biting and lively, a few more weeks in bottle will do it good." Falstaff

"From the Andreola lineup, the 2019 Valdobbiadene Rive di Refrontolo Brut Col Del Forno falls somewhere between the minerality of the 26° Primo and the spice of the Dirupo. Dusty potpourri, incense, dried apricots and ripe apple notes create an alluring display. It’s smooth and pliant, but with a stunning mix of zesty acids and minerals which add tension, as tart orchard fruits evolve toward the close. There’s a good amount of weight and concentration here, which leads me to believe that a year or two in the cellar may bring even further depth, as this finishes long with pretty inner florals." About the winemakersAndreolaVeneto
    Andreola

In the hills of Col San Martino, in the heart of the production area of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, lies the Andreola Winery. Today Stefano Pola runs the 35 hectare Azienda in Farra di Soligo, halfway between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, with the same philosophy as his father Nazareno. Stefano's passion for viticulture is manifested in his loving care of the vines, in the cellar and in his adherence to traditional production methods. From this impulse, convincing drops emerge, which are responsible for a lot of pleasure in the nose as well as on the palate and thus bring a lot of joy into the glasses of wine lovers worldwide.

The Pola family has dedicated itself above all to the production of high-quality Proseccos, without completely neglecting still wines - and here also less widespread wine types - in its wide assortment. In addition to classic Bordeaux red wines for friends of rather light, palatable wines, numerous varieties of Frizzante are also produced in the winery in Veneto, where research and development are very important. The choice between very clear elaborations and plants distinguished by a fine veil, which have undergone a second fermentation phase on the yeast in the bottle, is difficult. The battery of Azienda Agricola Andreola bottles is still quite large, although it was thinned out a little when the new denomination was introduced. The company's DOCG labels belong to the top of the range and impressively reflect the cool mineral terroir of the Valdobbiadene district compared to the neighbouring Conegliano region.

The most important grape variety of the wines is of course the Glera grape, which is presented in a variety of ways, taking full advantage of the DOC regulations and the still relatively new regulations for the newly created DOCG. On the slopes of the Col San Martino (Rive-Lage), some of which even have a gradient of up to 45° but also other white grape varieties such as Bianchetta, Perera and the very widespread variety Chardonnay grow in small quantities. Those who enjoy Andreola's plants will soon realise that, in addition to their freshness, it is the terroir in particular that is decisive. After all, the sparkling drops should not be a copy of sparkling wines from other growing regions or even countries, but rather the finest Prosecco Superiore from the core area of Valdobbiadene.
