“Tancredi Edizione Dolce & Gabbana” Rosso Terre Siciliane IGT 2019 · in gift box
"Tancredi Dolce & Gabbana" Limited Edition represents the collaboration of two iconic brands that are considered ambassadors of Sicilian culture and Italian excellence beyond the country's borders. Their shared commitment to elegance, craftsmanship and creativity brilliantly reinterprets this historic estate cuvée. To mark the occasion, Tancredi has been given an exclusive Dolce & Gabbana label since the 2018 vintage, with aesthetics that pay homage to both the baroque-aristocratic tradition of Italy and the revolutionary values that emerged in Sicily after the country's unification.
This noble Sicilian is made mainly from Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon, the latter adding a subtle minty facet to the aromatic spectrum. Moreover, the bouquet is refined by sweet mineral graphite, tones of liquorice, cocoa, sour cherries and blueberries. The excellent, broad and enveloping flavour structure is confirmed in the final considerable length. SUPERIORE.DE
"Black berries and dark leather with some crushed slate and blue fruits on the nose. Some dark mushrooms. Full-bodied and chewy with lots of toasted oak. Rich and flavourful but remains straightforward and fresh." James Suckling
"Dark shining ruby red. In the nose after cherry syrup, liquorice, vanilla, noble wood, after some time also after dried roses. On the palate savoury, polished and compact, plus lots of salt, stretches very well over the tongue and comes back in many layers, long." Falstaff
"The 2019 Tancredi Dolce & Gabbana is dark and intense, with an air of smoky crushed rocks and savory herbs that gives way to black currant and balsamic spice. Silky yet racy in style, this impresses further with depths of mineral-tinged red and black fruits that saturate. A web of fine-grained tannins mounts toward the close. It finishes dramatically long, structured and potent, with graphite nuances and a mentholated herbal freshness that helps to lift the experience. The Tancredi is going to need time, and a lot of it, yet it will be time well spent. It's a radiant beauty. This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Nero d’Avola and Tannat." Vinous

Franciacorta “Vittorio Moretti” Riserva DOCG 2013 extra brut
Floral, structured and deep - the Riserva Franciacorta Extra Brut Vittorio Moretti, one of the absolute best spumante Italy has to offer. Juicy peaches, apricots, mint and flowers in the opulent bouquet. Very lively and pure on the palate with balanced notes from the oak. A warm, soft wine with great development potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright straw yellow with light gold and persistent perlage. On the nose, fragrant and inviting of buttered pastries, honeycomb, candied citrus zest and noble salty, iodine tones, even white truffle, reverberating with cream and delicate bourbon vanilla. Noble and clear on the palate, stretches precisely over the tongue, with a magnificent course, round perlage and salty play, long final." Falstaff
"Chamomile, yellow-pear, citrus-zest and bread-crust aromas shape the nose on this blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Nero. On the elegantly structured, creamy palate, a refined perlage accompanies mature yellow apple, orange rind, walnut and vanilla. Fresh acidity brightens the rich flavors." Wine Enthusiast

“Zero140” Metodo Classico Alta Langa Riserva DOCG 2008 pas dosé
Zero140 is Enrico Serafino's most extreme Alta Langa and at the same time the most impressive Italian Metodo Classico we have ever had in the glass. It represents the pinnacle of Enrico Serafino's Alta Langa project and sets an undisputed benchmark in Italy's world of méthode champenoise sparkling wines in terms of finesse and emotionality (and length of bottle ageing).
"Refining a bottle for 12 years means having 12 vintages in your own underground cellars at the same time. How can you recognise them? How do you make the complexity of such a special wine clear? We have chosen to paint the lower part of the bottles with a different colour for each vintage produced, marking the beginning of the remuage rotation on the glass. Moreover, the decision not to use the label underlines the complexity of the wine. This is why, in addition to the capsule required by law, on each bottle you will find only the jewel that represents our logo or the detail of a fossil from the Piedmont Tertiary, an unmistakable sign of the footprint that nature has left in nature over the centuries.
And finally, the choice of colours. The quality of our wines comes from nature. That's why we chose to be inspired by the theory of planets and colours. This links the sun, the nine planets, the moon and Ceres (dwarf planet) with the different colours that exist: 12 colours that identify and distinguish the 12 vintages of ZERO 140, which are refined in our cellars at the same time. Starting with the yellow of the sun, we continued with the green of Venus, trying to represent life in colours. The current vintage is 2008, it received the red dedicated to the planet Mars." Paolo Giacosa, Kellermeister
Pale gold in the glass. On the inviting, deliberately delicately reductive bouquet, poached pear, peach with toasted almonds and baked bread. On the palate of warm, rich texture and a never-ending soft and perfectly integrated perlage, which only exists when the wine is given time to mature. A lot of time. On the palate, then, an unrivalled complex, balanced, buttery and creamy texture, elegant and intense, with an invigorating fresh acidity to boot, followed by a deeply emotional mineral finish. This absolutely exceptional sparkling wine opens the doors of Fort Knox (and others) in the blink of an eye. Happy the one who can call a bottle of it his own. SUPERIORE.DE

Limitation of 1 articles per customer“Nama” Cuvée Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2016 · in gift box
NA as in Nals, MA as in Margreid. A tribute to two outstanding sites where something special can be felt, seen and felt, and which have inspired cellarmaster Harald Schraffl to create something equally special from their grapes. A wine and essence that expresses the essence of the small plots in its purest form, whose typicity tells the South Tyrol of tomorrow, a timeless wine with recognition value in an international context. In 2016, this special marriage of Chardonnay and Sauvignon grapes finds its way into the bottle for the first time. NAMA is born - a cuvée of 85% Chardonnay, married with Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon.
Harald Schraffl describes the wine as follows: "The Chardonnay brings the power, the timelessness and the international length to the wine, the Pinot Blanc the regionality, the rootedness with our soil and our homeland, the Sauvignon the spice."
The vines for the Cuvée NAMA are between 30 and 40 years old. The grapes are harvested and selected by hand. After the gentle whole bunch pressing, the must is pre-clarified by natural, static sedimentation, fermentation and ageing in small oak barrels for 18 months on the lees. The grapes are then assembled and matured together on the lees for a further year in stainless steel tanks. The Cuvée NAMA is then bottled, where it matures for another year. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright elegant straw yellow with a tendency towards light gold. Great, inviting nose, multi-layered and compact, comes exotic out of the glass, after candied lemon zest, plus a hint of ripe pear, dried pineapple, a touch of fumé in the finish. Opens salty in the mouth, brisk without lacking complexity, rich pressure with a golden core, great, precise tension, very long final." Falstaff
"85% Chardonnay plus Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon Blanc from three member wineries. Elegance in the nose, apple, pineapple, peach and mango, also nut. In the mouth lively, bright, lively acidity. Clear phenolic, has depth and freshness at the same time. Crackling salt crystals on the edge of the tongue, really long and lively at all times. Ends spicy, salt again, plus liquorice". Vinum
"This is a dense and layered blend of 85% chardonnay with pinot bianco and sauvignon blanc. Yet, it remains agile and vivid with lots of brightness and energy. The acidity and finely textured phenolics frame the wine nicely. Hints of nuts and stones to the apple, pineapple, peach and mango character. Extremely long and vibrant. Some mineral and licorice at the end. This is aged in 320-liter new barrels for 18 months, one year in stainless and then another two years in bottle. 1,800 bottles and 50 magnums made. Sustainable agriculture. From three growers of the cooperative." James Suckling
"This is a new wine, and it's a big deal too. It arrives in special packaging, with a pretty wax capsule and numbered bottles (I tasted bottle number 0542). A blend of 85% Chardonnay, 9% Pinot Bianco and 6% Sauvignon, the Nals Margreid 2016 Alto Adige Bianco Nama is all about textural richness and creamy concentration. A heavy, environmentally unfriendly glass bottle underlines this theme, unfortunately; but this is no ordinary blend. The wine moves steadily and lazily over the palate, imparting ripe and solid aromas of honey, tropical fruit, vanilla spice and creamy custard. Its appearance is luminous and bright, and the aromatic layering is intricate and multilayered. This is a generous, full-bodied white with a lively and creamy finish that can be counted in long minutes. Here's a new discovery from Alto Adige to add to your cellar." Wine Advocate

"Bright, rich straw yellow with light green components. Finely marked nose with notes of apricots and mirabelles, plus slightly resinous components, after spruce shoots. Plays up nicely on the palate, good pressure, salty, some green components on the final." Falstaff
"This wine is inspired by some of the great international expressions of Chardonnay. The Nals Margreid 2018 Alto Adige Bianco Nama is 90% Chardonnay with 7% Pinot Bianco and 3% Sauvignon Blanc just to give a little aromatic lift to the bouquet. Starting with the 2019 vintage, it becomes 100% Chardonnay. This gorgeous wine hits a perfect crosspoint of intensity, elegance and complexity. A light mineral dusting frames white peach, pear and quince. This medium–bodied white is plush and rich, but never heavy. Dolomitic notes give it lift and a convincing vertical push. Only 2,000 bottles were made plus specially numbered magnums." Wine Advocate
"A dense and layered white with cooked–apple, stone and light honey character, as well as pie crust and honeysuckle. It’s full–bodied and layered with a gorgeous, soft texture. Long and composed, with persistence and focus." James Suckling

This dry Gewürztraminer from the Pirchschrait single vineyard at Kolbenhof is a tribute to Konrad Oberhofer, who was the first to vinify the grapes from individual vineyards separately in the 1930s. Martin Foradori Hofstätter's grandfather was a pioneer of vineyard thinking. His goal was to make the special character of each site tangible in the wine.
After ten years of maturation on the fine yeast in 500-litre barrels, the Gewürztraminer develops a dense texture without losing freshness. The fine yeast also gives it a charming aroma of toasted bread, medlars, blossom honey and dried fruits. In contrast, the already low fruit sweetness recedes discreetly in the years of ageing, while the minerality gains in expression. In the glass, the top-quality Pirchschrait impresses with a subtle interplay of flavours. SUPERIORE.DE

"Sweet white flowers, opal apples and notes of candied lime make up the bouquet of the 2019 Chardonnay Nama, flooding the palate with opulent textures and rich white stone fruit balanced by a vibrant acidic core and gentle acidic citrus notes. The Chardonnay is beautifully balanced, leaving a hint of concentration that gives it a tactile feel, while finishing with great length and finesse." Vinous
"The Nals Margreid 2019 Alto Adige Bianco Nama is a Chardonnay, although previous vintages have included small amounts of Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon Blanc. From this vintage onwards, the wine is only identified as Chardonnay on the front label. Characterised by a cool mountain climate, this lovely wine shows many of the elegant fruit and mineral accents we have seen in past editions of Nama. It also offers light toasty and oaky notes that give the wine a lovely texture, a soft creaminess and excellent length. It is a beauty." Wine Advocate
"The intensity and subtlety of this young white wine is impressive. It offers aromas of spicy pears, granite and flint, as well as alpine flowers and hints of cream and vanilla. Also mango. Full-bodied yet very linear, with wonderful length and intensity. It lingers on the palate for minutes. It has the class of a top Burgundy and yet is a true South Tyrolean. 100% Chardonnay this year. 2,000 bottles." James Suckling

Historically, the vineyards of Castello di Fonterutoli are located in the areas of three neighbouring municipalities of Chianti Classico: Castellina in Chianti, Castelnuovo Berardenga and Radda in Chianti. Since the 2017 vintage, the Mazzei family has, for the first time, vinified all three large vineyards separately as Chianti Classico Gran Selezione to reflect the diversity of the terroir: Castello di Fonterutoli, Vicoregio 36 and Badiola.
We are pleased to offer you all three 2019 Cru from three terroirs from three communes in a beautiful decorative box!
1 bottle à 0,75l | "Castello Fonterutoli" Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG 2019
Castello di Fonterutoli comes from 11 different plots at an altitude of 420-510m around the hamlet of Fonterutoli in Castellina in Chianti. It is quasi the "château" and at the same time the oldest cru of the winery and was first produced in 1995 as the predecessor of today's Gran Selezione. Rich colour and a clear scent of blackberries, cherries, violets and flowers, plus some nougat. This full-bodied Castello Fonterutoli impresses with its beguiling extract sweetness and polished tannin. The intense and concentrated taste enchants the senses. The long final is full of elegance. Badiòla is the historic name of a vineyard in the municipality of Radda, whose grapes are vinified separately for the first time by the Mazzei family as Gran Selezione with the 2017 vintage. Bright ruby, a restrained but clear nose of wild berries, blue flowers, undergrowth, and hints of dark pepper. On the palate, Badiòla is masterfully balanced, almost weightless. The very well integrated tannin makes it seem supple from the first to the last glass and impresses with a long finish - its elegance is great! SUPERIORE.DE

Vicoregio 36 is the successor to the ambitious Mix 36 and, as of 2017, a true Chianti Classico Gran Selezione. As a result of 50 years of research, 36 biotypes of the Sangiovese grape were planted on a sunny plateau near Castelnuova Berardenga, from which this extremely interesting and distinctive wine was created a few years ago. The overall impression is very balanced and straightforward with hints of red cherries, spices, dried blueberries and tobacco. It is the warmest and most balanced of the three Gran Selezione wines. Its intensity, richness of colour and precise fruit instantly captivate the Sangiovese lover. SUPERIORE.DE

LUX VITIS comes from Cabernet Sauvignon vines over 12 years old and contains a small amount of Sangiovese. The 2019 vintage is rich and powerful, with full intensity. As with the other wines in the Tenuta Luce portfolio, oak spice and tannins play an important role in the basic style expressed here. Only 6,600 bottles were produced. "A rich and layered cabernet sauvignon with juicy fruit and lots of currant and berry aromas, as well as hints of spices. Full-bodied and flavorful with freshness and brightness at the end." James Suckling
"The Tenuta Luce 2019 Lux Vitis opens to an inky dark appearance with pressed blackberry, sweet cinnamon and cumin. There is some oak astringency on the tannins that will relax in time. Otherwise, this is a richly textured and concentrated red wine to drink on a cold winter evening by an open fire. The wine is almost full-bodied, but it actually feels more streamlined on the close." Cult Spumante named after the founder of the winery: light bright yellow, lively, fine mousseux. The bouquet is inviting, with fine yeasty nuances and discreet grapefruit and citrus tones. Lots of substance on the palate, nice creamy texture, very elegant and with a fine citrus note underneath. The fresh structure and the harmonious, long, slightly salty finish have a wonderfully stimulating effect. SUPERIORE.DE
"White spring flower, bread crust, toasted nut and orange zest aromas form the nose. Smooth and elegantly structured, the palate shows the complexity of age and the freshness of a younger wine, delivering ripe yellow apple, pear, flinty mineral and hazelnut framed against a refined, continuous perlage. Fresh acidity keeps it focused and precise." Wine Enthusiast

The Nonino family presented the bonded Grappa Nonino Riserva Aged 20 Years in 2021. There are 664 numbered bottles.
A rare and precious grappa made from selected marcs of white and red grape varieties of Friuli with a natural smoky note, which Benito distilled in the discontinuous copper steam still at the Nonino distilleries in Ronchi di Percoto. Afterwards, this grappa matured for 20 years in a small, former sherry cask no. 166, sealed and constantly monitored by customs and the monopoly agency, in the company's own maturation cellar since 2001.
Gold-orange in the glass. Full and intense on the nose with notes of cream, honey, fruit, hints of orange, chocolate and a fine, natural smoky note. Full-bodied and persistent on the palate with a composition of apricot, cream, dried fruits, spices and pepper as well as a fine, natural smoky note and hints of sherry.

Glides silkily over the palate, the aromas of freshly baked baguette and brioche linger endlessly. Exciting and unique! SUPERIORE.DE
"This exquisite, structured sparkler opens with enticing scents of rose petal, citrus, baking spice and red berry. The gorgeous, radiant palate boasts vibrancy and depth, featuring juicy red cherry and pomegranate overlaying rhubarb and mineral notes that recall graphite and saline. A silky, persistent perlage provides loads of finesse while bright acidity lends intensity and precision. Extraordinary." Wine Enthusiast

Limitation of 2 articles per customer“La Grola” Rosso Veronese IGT 2016 · Artist’s edition “Hiroyuki Masuyama” · 6 bottles in OWC
La Grola is the historic vineyard that gave its name to Corvina, the autochthonous grape of Valpolicella, which is probably its origin. The replanting of the vineyard by Giovanni Allegrini sparked an agronomic revolution and laid the foundations for the success of this wine-growing area, which today is home to great red wines from north-eastern Italy.
So it is not surprising that La Grola receives a special honour from its magnificent location. Since 2010, Allegrini has been collaborating with internationally renowned artists, publishing year after year a unique, limited artist edition. The edition opened with a work by Milo Manara, continued in 2011 with a label designed by Arthur Duff and continued in 2012 with a painting by Athos Faccincani. The composition VI by Wassily Kandinsky was selected for La Grola in 2013, and in 2014 the artistic journey went to Brazil and to Nazareno Rodrigues Alves, before returning to Italy with the 2015 edition to Leonardo Ulian.
The 2016 vintage was interpreted by a great Japanese artist: Hiroyuki Masuyama. In a highly innovative process, La Grola's Limited Edition ennobles the fascinating synthesis of overlapping shots. A total of 288 photographs are incorporated into this work, showing one of the legendary vineyards of Valpolicella from an exciting and completely new perspective. Time and space are the fundamental elements of Hiroyuki Masuyama's overall creativity: everything revolves around these two concepts, which have been formalised differently over the years and have become the hallmark of his work. Masuyama combines and overlaps the result of hundreds of photographs taken of his subject from a fixed angle. The result of this superimposition is another image of the same place.
In each wooden box of 6 there are 6 bottles with Masuyama's exclusive artist's label. We are pleased to be able to offer you some copies of the special edition, which is strictly limited every year!
Dense, dark ruby red, in the nose very full-bodied and strong with tones of forest and overripe berries. The rich fullness from coffee to black cherries is accompanied by present, pleasant tannins. SUPERIORE.DE
"Lovely balance, as always, to this super Veronese red with juicy dark fruit and hints of black chocolate. Medium to full body, succulent tannins and a fresh finish." James Suckling
"Very inky and toasty nose. On the palate the wine is elegant, fresh and poised with classy, well-integrated oak, flavours of plums and cherries and tight tannins, which will soften in time." Decanter

“I Climat” Selezione Chardonnay Friuli Isonzo DOC 2016 · 6 bottles in OWC
For more than thirty years, Vie di Romans has been vinifying only its own grapes in order to respect and express the respective vineyards of origin. The crus "Piere", "Vieris", "Vie di Romans", "Ciampagnis", "Dessimis" and others embody the sensory quintessence of their grapes of origin, each with its own recognisable and enduring historical character.
With the ambitious project "I Climat" (traditional Burgundian term), Gianfranco Gallo wants to present the terroir expression of his wines in the truest and most authentic way. Each individual terroir offers a certain variability: it is up to the winemaker to decide whether to capture its unique essence or to use it in a more general way.
At Vie di Romans, the Chardonnay variety was chosen because it has an innate, genetic ability to connect in a very noticeable way with the different soil-climate complexes in which it grows. The six different Climat wines come from specific Chardonnay parcels within the two crus vineyards, Vie di Romans and Ciampagnis, and contain the names or name components of the families who farmed these vineyards in the distant past - Nuts, Goss, Curie, Glesie, Boghis and Cortesar. In the past, local properties were very parcelled out and, unlike today, were farmed by the same family or owner for generations.
It is important to mention that uniform viticulture and vinification practices were used in the vinification of all six site Chardonnays, so that no external factor could compromise the unique and natural expression. Each vintage (since the beginning of 2015) is the result of 18 months of "elevage sur lie" followed by two years of bottle ageing. The extended maturation period was deliberately chosen to allow the wine to develop the authentic sensory expression that a specific soil-climate unit is capable of producing.
Gianfranco Gallo is convinced that the true identity of a wine and the terroir that produces it only emerges through longevity, because it is only through this process that the wine discovers its inner balance, stability and unmistakable identity. SUPERIORE.DE

Barolo “Le Vigne Sibi et Paucis” Riserva DOCG 2011 · 3 bottles in OWC
For a few years now, Luciano has been holding back a small quantity of his Barolo Le Vigne and allowing it to mature further in bottle in his cellar. The result is called "Sibi et Paucis", the impressive and rare opportunity to experience the magnificent ageing potential of his great Baroli.
The 2011 Barolo Le Vigne (Riserva) is an opulent and well-formed wine with a fine cherry-like softness and roundness that you don't get in the Barolo Cannubi Boschis. Le Vigne delivers an unexpected additional touch of opulence that fits the historic profile of the Nebbiolo grape and, for all its directness, it has the inner grace and incipient balance for further positive development in the cellar. SUPERIORE.DE
"From a hot and dry vintage that saw dusty winds blowing up through the Mediterranean and spreading particles of sand from Africa, this wine shows open-knit appeal with loose texture and lots of dark fruit intensity. The Luciano Sandrone 2011 Barolo Le Vigne Sibi et Paucis pours from the bottle with rich and velvety intensity, followed by dried cherry, blackberry, spice, leather and tar." Wine Advocate
"This shows real clarity and precision of fruit and fine tannins. The bark and mushroom character is fascinating, but the extended character of wet earth adds to the whole experience. It's so long and refined, yet muscular. Just starting to open now. Fantastic." James Suckling
