Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore Millesimato DOCG 2022 brut
The dry and noble vintage version of Villa Sandi's bestseller: light yellow, delicate apple scent, nutty, a little biscuit on the nose. On the palate, racy structure, pear fruit, lemongrass, lively and of good length. SUPERIORE.DE
"Silver-grey with persistent perlage. Flint, hazelnuts, pears and peaches on the nose, then delicate floral scent. Expressive and clear on the palate, with rich fruit and juicy course, in the aftertaste coarse-grained perlage, hearty." Falstaff

“Vigneto la Rivetta” Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG 2021 brut
Great Prosecco Cartizze from the top vineyard of the same name with creamy aromas of pineapple and citrus fruits. Round, smooth and expressive with beautiful fruit notes on the palate. Long and harmonious finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"A little stony on the nose, with perfumed peaches, white pears, lemon sorbet and Fuji apples. Sleek and creamy with lots of pear and apple flavors coming through, with generous fruit in the finish." James Suckling
"The Villa Sandi 2021 Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze La Rivetta Brut is a much drier expression of a sparkling wine that traditionally sees hints of soft residual sugar. This Brut sparkler is instead quite focused and bright. It offers delicate complexity with pretty floral aromas that cede to grated lemon zest and white mineral. The finish is compact and fine." The Villa Sandi wineries are located in the Valdobbiadene municipality, in vineyards that have shaped the landscape of the Treviso hills for centuries. Located in Crocetta, between the Montello slopes and the Asolo hills, the vineyard is planted with classic Bordeaux varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet. In this important wine-growing area, traditional techniques are combined with the latest experience from the cooperation with the Conegliano Experimental Centre for Viticulture. The Valdobbiadene estate also produces grapes of the highest quality, with Glera, which is used for the production of Prosecco, being of great importance. Finally, the winery and vineyard La Rivetta in the middle of the excellent Cartizze vineyard also contributes a top-quality wine to Villa Sandi's very broad product portfolio.
The Venetian wine house, which is dedicated to high-quality still and sparkling wines of all kinds, owes its name to a magnificent Palladian building built as early as 1622, in which the head office is still located today. While in the villa the sparkling subsidiary brand Opere Trevigiane is produced using the Metodo Classico process, the Prosecchi, Spumante and Frizzante produced using the Charmat process as well as the still wines leave a modern building complex in the neighbourhood. The world-renowned wine house is managed by the Moretti Polegato family from Venice, who, with great dedication and competence, are continuing the winemaking tradition in the third generation, with great respect for ecological principles. Villa Sandi also has a guest house with an atmosphere reminiscent of earlier times. 'Locanda Sandi'which lies in the middle of the Valdobbiadene winery.
A very favourable microclimate and the loose sandstone soils enriched with minerals in the hilly area of the Marca Trevigiana are perfect conditions for first-class wines. The natural richness and fertility of the soil and the ancient method still used today of planting vines in straight lines and pruning them to medium height, under the long-term supervision of the oenologist Valerio Fuson, produce fine wines with a very delicate and full-bodied bouquet.
