“Mandriolo” Rosso Maremma Toscana DOC 2022
Even with the entry-level wine, Morisfarms does not deviate a bit from its usual quality standard, which has delighted us with its consistency for over 15 years now. Freshness and relaxed drinkability are the strengths of the Rosso Maremma with its earthy fruit bouquet of cherry and plum and its spicy notes in the finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2022 Mandriolo is a gorgeous, entry-level offering. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, spice, mint and sweet pipe tobacco are pushed forward. This tasty Maremma red is sure to be a crowd-pleaser." Vinous

Limitation of 18 articles per customer“Vernaiolo” Chianti DOCG 2022
Vernaiolo is one of the oldest members of the Rocca delle Macìe family and has always been the estate's most traditional example of Chianti. Its name is derived from the Latin vernāle, which means "of spring" and indicates the season in which the Chianti was bottled after it had survived the winter. Even today, this lively, ruby-red wine is ready to drink in the spring after the harvest and retains its fresh and fruity characteristics for a long time.
Fruity red with lots of dried berries and a hint of dried flowers and a touch of milk chocolate. Medium body, round tannins and a fresh finish. Delicious and very entertaining. SUPERIORE.DE

"The 2022 Rosso di Montepulciano is impossible to ignore, with a sweetly scented bouquet of violets, lavender, allspice and wild blueberries. This is soft and supple with ripe wild berry fruits and juicy acidity. It leaves a coating of gentle tannins and a blackberry flourish, tapering off mildly spicy and with medium length." Vinous

“Spezieri” Rosso Toscana IGT 2021 (BIO)
Ruby red colour, fresh nose of red fruits and spices. Pleasant flavour: fruity, balanced in tannin and acidity, very lively and crisp. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright ruby red colour. Still somewhat restrained on the nose, of ripe cherry, rosehip and cloves. Opens on the palate with clear fruit and animating acidity, fine, young tannins." Falstaff
"This tightly wound red's chewy tannins maintain a stranglehold on the wild strawberry and cherry fruit. Accents of earth and tobacco add detail, yet the finish feels pinched for now." Wine Spectator
"The nose balances savory, slightly astringent aromas of coffee, soil, pepper and balsamic with sweeter notes of cherries and blackberries. That berry element glows on the palate, but an enduring peppery earthiness preserves the balance. Firm tannins usher the acid into a sophisticated, salty finish." Wine Enthusiast

Rosso di Montepulciano DOC 2022 (BIO)
Racy, elegant and very authentic Rosso di Montepulciano, slender and feminine, with the flavours of ripe red cherries and good length. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright ruby red colour with a violet hue. Intense and multi-layered nose, showing notes of ripe sour cherries, blackberries and blackcurrants, with hints of violets and cloves on the finish. Fresh and juicy on the palate, with soft tannins and a long finish." Falstaff
"A pretty bouquet of bright cherries and pink flowers makes the 2022 Rosso di Montepulciano a real pleasure on the nose. It is juicy and savoury rather than sweet, with hints of wild berries and minerality. A hint of liquorice resonates on the medium-long finish, while the 2022 finishes fresh." Vinous

The images that come to mind when people speak of Tuscany are actually always those from the heart of Tuscany, the Chianti region. Everyone thinks of the wonderful hilly landscape between Florence and Siena. But Tuscany is much more. Much bigger. And more diverse.
Tuscany is often referred to as "Cuore d'Italia" - the heart of Italy - even if geographically it is not one hundred percent right. Historically, however, it has always been one of the most lively and economically successful regions in the country. And it was one of the first areas where wine was cultivated. Already from the Etruscans. From the high mountains of the Apennines, the country falls down in picturesque, scenic beauty to the Tyrrhenian Sea. Tuscany borders Liguria and Emilia-Romagna to the north, Marche and Umbria to the east and Lazio to the south. Also the third largest Italian island Elba counts to it.
Besides Piedmont, Tuscany is the most famous Italian wine-growing region with some of the world's most famous wines. The Italians divide the wine regions into "Il Cuore Antico" which basically means the classical wine growing areas in the Chianti area and "L'Altra Toscana" which means the "newer" wine growing areas such as Maremma, the coastal and mountain regions as well as Elba.
