Wines from Tuscany

Blend of Sangiovese (approx. 80%) and Petit Verdot from the south-west slope in small quantities < 5,000 bottles. The soil has a brown colour, a clayey-loamy texture, limestone slabs and a rounded skeleton. Only the Sangiovese matures for a few months in French oak, after which it is blended and matured in the bottle. Ruby red in colour with violet reflections. Intense aroma with characteristic notes of ripe fruit such as plum, blackberry and cherry. The flavour is soft and full, with a good structure and sweet, well-balanced tannins. SUPERIORE.DE

Cretum Rosso is made from a strict selection of the estate's best Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which grow just a few kilometres from the Crete Senesi area that gives the wine its name.
