Barbaresco “Tulin” DOCG 2019
The Barbaresco Tulin is a convincing middle ground in Giorgio Pelissero's range. It has the richness normally found in his wines, but also a good dose of freshness. Floral and spicy nuances interweave with a core of red and purple berry fruit, giving it a striking inner flavour and energy. Tulin is an impressive wine that is characterised by its balance. Barbaresco DOCG 2018
Bright and radiant, with lots of Nebbiolo character, it is a successful interpretation of the terroir and shows the great class of the winery. On the nose, sweet red cherries, tobacco, mint, anise and white pepper. Medium-bodied and graceful on the palate with a good balance of perfume, acidity and structure. With further bottle ageing, it looks forward to a great evolution. SUPERIORE.DE

Translucent purple with a fresh, garnet red edge. The bouquet is a potpourri of dried fruits, dark chocolate and a delicate nougat note. Barbaresco “Cottà" DOCG 2018
Bright garnet red with a copper-coloured rim. Fine olfactory cinema of red fruits and sea buckthorn. In addition, forest earth paired with a hint of tobacco and bitter almond. In the glass still young, initially loud tannins, with some air then softer tones and a powerful, lasting final. An elegant, aristocratic wine that leaves a lasting impression not only on the first glass. SUPERIORE.DE

Barbaresco Asili DOCG 2020
Michele Chiarlo's Barbaresco Asili comes from vines that are around 30 years old and has a fragrant bouquet with bright and fresh aromas of wild cherry, blackcurrant, raspberry, blue flowers and crushed stone. This vintage shows a level of energy and vitality that makes it stand out from the crowd, and the wine is elegant and silky in texture. This is a particularly soft and polished expression of the famous Asili vineyard in Barbaresco. SUPERIORE.DE

![Barbaresco "Il Bricco" DOCG 2018]()
Barbaresco “Il Bricco” DOCG 2018
The grapes come from the high-altitude MGA Il Bricco near Treiso. Each parcel is harvested separately, fermented in stainless steel with long maceration and then matured classically in large Slavonian and French oak barrels; a small proportion matures in barriques to refine the texture without masking the origin. The 2018 vintage was characterised by a long growing season with a sufficient water supply, a warm summer and a calm autumn. The late, selective harvest yielded pure grapes with a fine acidity line and polished tannins – a subtle, elegant style with early grace and good development prospects.

Barbaresco DOCG 2017 (BIO) · MAGNUM
Ceretto's entry-level Barbaresco comes from different sites, mostly younger vines from Asili (35%) and the lower part of Bernadot (65%). Bright, elegant ruby red. It has full energy and vivacity and offers excellent persistence and remarkable balance. On the nose, sweet red cherry, mint, pine, liquorice and candied orange peel. Taut and ferruginous on the palate, very juicy, salty, stretches precisely across the tongue, with some pressure, considerable juicy-long finish. After good aeration already impressively accessible when young. SUPERIORE.DE

Barbaresco “Currá" DOCG 2015 · MAGNUM in OWC
Currá is an archaic long-distance runner and presents itself very aristocratically with increasing bottle maturity or also good aeration even when young. Then it reveals dark berries and a fine chocolate note in the bouquet. In its style, it is edgy at first, but then at no point denies its greatness and harmony. Tobacco, plums, smoke and tobacco: with every glass, this exceptional wine reveals new facets and a firework of impressions. This is Nebbiolo from 65-year-old vines at the highest level! SUPERIORE.DE

Barbaresco Roncaglie “Masseria” DOCG 2018 · MAGNUM in OWC
First bottled in 1967, the Masseria comes from a vineyard in Bricco di Neive and is essentially vinified and aged like a Barolo. The 2018 vintage - now for the first time from a small parcel that used to belong to the Barbaresco winery Socré - was also deliberately released a year later to provide more harmony and balance. Vietti's Masseria is always delicate and refined, and this is all the more true for the current vintage.

Barbaresco Asili DOCG 2017 · MAGNUM
The Asili vineyard in Barbaresco is considered the epitome of delicate elegance. On gentle hills with calcareous marl soils that store sun and moisture in perfect measure, Nebbiolo produces wines here that combine finesse and depth in equal measure. The 2017 vintage was characterised by a warm, dry summer, during which cooler nights ensured aromatic precision and fresh acidity – ideal conditions for a wine with a strong character and a long life.

![Barbaresco "Sorì San Lorenzo" DOP 2017]()
Barbaresco “Sorì San Lorenzo” DOP 2017
Angelo Gaja's Sorì San Lorenzo is not simply a Barbaresco – it is an impulse. In the south-facing vineyards of the famous Secondine cru parcel, it combines the intensity of the terrain with the entrepreneurial vision of a family that has been setting standards with this wine since 1967. Since then, Sorì San Lorenzo has been recognised as the strongest, most powerful and longest-lived member of the Gaja Cru trilogy – a wine that does not trumpet greatness, but quietly unfolds it.

![Barbaresco "Costa Russi" DOP 2017]()
Barbaresco “Costa Russi” DOP 2017
A Barbaresco that speaks softly in the glass and lingers for a long time – costa Russi 2017 opens with a brilliant, almost violet ruby colour that immediately hints at depth and elegance. Named after a historic property name in the cru parcel, this wine exemplifies Gaja's visionary combination of tradition and innovation. The bouquet is characterised by remarkable clarity and finesse: ripe cherry, redcurrant and delicate floral notes interweave with underlying spice, slightly smoky notes and an elegant layer of aniseed – a balance of precision and expression. The palate is initially velvety and supple, then unfolds with a fine structure, carried by vital acidity and finely balanced tannins. The wine remains focussed and long, with a mineral pulse and restrained power that respects its origins and keeps it alive.

The vineyards of the Barbaresco DOCG in Piedmont - more precisely in the Langhe in the province of Cuneo - begin at the north-eastern foothills of the truffle town of Alba and extend over the area of the three municipalities of Barbaresco, Treiso and Neive. The growing area is small and manageable. Barely more than three million bottles are produced here every year. Another special feature of this region is that the Langhe was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2014 - a paradise for connoisseurs.
Barbaresco is made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyards are generally a little lower than the vineyards around Barolo and have somewhat lighter, sandier soils. The climate in the Barbaresco DOCG is somewhat milder and drier than in the neighbouring denomination, meaning that the grapes reach full ripeness a little earlier. The Nebbiolo grape is at home here, it is one of the largest indigenous grape varieties in Italy and is characterised by its pronounced acidity. Its skins give off a lot of tannins, which are initially hard and angular. Nevertheless, the long-lasting Barbaresco wines, which mature a little earlier than Barolo, are on average less opulent and generally more elegant, accessible and supple. Barbaresco from the Langhe is an excellent accompaniment to food. It is a wonderful partner to spicy cheeses, braised meats and tart game specialities.
And why a PREMIUM SALE with Barbaresco wines now?
Quite simply. Every climate-controlled warehouse is finite and every year brings a new vintage. That's why we've decided to part with some great wines at a discount. They are more than worth their original price, no question, and even more so when matured. It's not for nothing that winegrowers increase the prices of historic vintages every year!
That's why we advise you to stock up now on carefully matured wines and vintages that not only promise maximum enjoyment today and tomorrow, but are actually no longer available in Italy or anywhere else in Europe. Have fun discovering and selecting, because it really doesn't get any better than this. But as always: while stocks last ...
Salute! SUPERIORE.DE
