!["Monte Carbonare" Soave Classico DOC 2024 (BIO)]()
“Monte Carbonare” Soave Classico DOC 2024 (BIO)
Monte Carbonare is grown on red volcanic iron-rich soils with an abundance of black basalt at their centre. Six hectares of 60–70-year-old vines in cooler locations, which, as the climate warms, are set to rise further to become the crème de la crème of the top vineyards. A richer wine than the younger Classico, but without the same cheeky vitality. Whilst the Classico is an unbeatable everyday wine, the Monte Carbonare is a complex wine that calls for food and a little more contemplation. Mirabelle plum, apricot kernel, a hint of dried mango and plenty of smoky, sharp minerality, with a dutiful freshness that brings wonderful length. SUPERIORE.DE

“Rosso Mosso” Vino Spumante s.a. extra dry (BIO)
Rosso Mosso means: a red wine that's on the move. The play on words is intentional. "Mosso" sounds like "mosto", the young wine that is fermenting and alive. Helena and Alois Clemens Lageder, representing the new generation, created this wine because they wanted to ask a question: what happens when you transform red wine into a fresher, more accessible, effervescent form without losing its character? The answer comes from a network. For over twenty years, Alois Lageder has been working with organic winegrowers from various South Tyrolean vineyards. For the Rosso Mosso, grapes from these partner vineyards come together; different vintages and grape varieties are blended and reimagined. No specific vintage, no boundaries. Volcanic and limestone soils; alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. The attractive label was designed by the Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi.

Sì. One word, no compromises. The most direct promise a wine can make. Elena Celli and winemaker Luca D'Attoma founded Duemani in 2000 in Riparbella, on hills between 200 and 300 metres above sea level overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Biodynamic according to Demeter standards, uncompromising in its philosophy: Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot grown on soil with up to 40% clay content, limestone outcrops and pronounced salinity, stemming from the proximity to the coast and the sea breezes. A terroir that speaks for itself in the glass. Sì is 100% Syrah vinified as a rosé. Spontaneous fermentation takes place inLiters, in which the wine also spends its entire ageing period. “Vistamare” Bianco Toscana IGT 2025
There are wines that speak not only of soil, climate and grapes – they also speak of light and space. Vistamare is undoubtedly one of these rare creations. Named after the sweeping view of the sea that can be seen from Bolgheri on clear days, this wine is a Mediterranean promise, fulfilled with the care and elegance with which Angelo Gaja has been setting standards for decades – only this time not in Piedmont, but on the Tuscan coast. The grapes are harvested plot by plot and deliberately staggered: Vermentino, Viognier and Fiano from coastal vineyards on sandy alluvial soil, in small batches that were vinified separately and then blended to create the final cuvée.

“Iselis” Bianco Nasco di Cagliari DOC 2025
In the hills of Parteòlla, where a salty inland lake glistens amongst centuries-old olive trees and the Romanesque church of Santa Maria di Sibiola sends its silent prayers skywards, lies the enchanting Tenuta Iselis. Here, the Argiolas family is bringing a very special project to life: the rediscovery of Nasco, an almost forgotten indigenous grape variety that was once brought to Sardinia by Phoenician sailors. The name Nasco is thought to derive from the Latin "muscus" – musk – a tribute to the extraordinary fragrance of this rare grape. Whilst Nasco is traditionally vinified into sweet wines, Argiolas has opted for the innovative approach of dry vinification: the harvest are harvest a month earlier, resulting in a modern white wine of exceptional elegance.

“St. Valentin” Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC 2024
In South Tyrol, the name St. Valentin has long stood for more than just a premium range – it is a promise. A promise of precision, a commitment to terroir, and the determination to draw the maximum expression from well-known grape varieties. With Pinot Grigio, this is achieved in an almost understated manner – without drama, but with depth and character. The vines for the St. Valentin Pinot Grigio grow on selected, higher-altitude plots around Eppan, where calcareous gravel soils, alpine altitude and long hours of sunshine create an exceptional interplay. A Pinot Grigio that does not aim for quick fruitiness or casual appeal, but rather for structure, minerality and longevity. After harvest, fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel and partly in large wooden casks – the subsequent ageing on the fine lees lends it substance and a hint of creamy elegance.

“Lidia” Chardonnay Piemonte DOC 2022 (BIO)
His father's name was Pin. His mother's was Lidia. When Giuseppe Rivetti began growing grapes in the hills of Asti in the 1970s, he and Lidia instilled in their four children – Carlo, Bruno, Giorgio and Giovanna, a conviction that still defines the estate's character today: a deep respect for the terroir, for the indigenous grape varieties and for what the earth provides. In 1977, the children, supported by their parents, produced the first single-vineyard Moscato d'Asti – the very first single-varietal, single-vineyard Moscatos in Italy. They honoured their father with the Pin, the Monferrato Rosso. And their mother was honoured with the Chardonnay.

“Centovie” Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC 2021 (BIO)
Centovie is coming together. After the Pecorino kicked things off, the Rosato followed – and finally, in 2015, the Montepulciano. The Bernetti family describes it as "a wine that did not exist before and which seeks no imitation". A personal, bespoke interpretation of a grape variety and a landscape. The estate lies 200 metres above Roseto degli Abruzzi, facing south-east, between the Gran Sasso and the Adriatic Sea. Clay-sandy limestone soil with an alluvial skeleton, organically farmed from day one. The Montepulciano is grown using two training systems: "Tendone" with long pruning and "Filare" with short spurs, at a density of 1,600 to 5,000 vines per hectare.

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2021 (BIO)
Brunello di Montalcino has been produced at the Argiano estate since 1888. This means that this estate has been there from the very beginning, when this grape variety, this place and this name began to write one of Italy's greatest wine stories. More than a century in a single location, guided by a single conviction: "Il Brunello è l'anima di Argiano – elegance, finesse and identity." Sant'Angelo in Colle lies in south-western Montalcino, the warmest and most distinctly Mediterranean part of the appellation. The soils consist of marl, ancient clays and limestone in high concentration – compact and mineral-rich – a site that lends the Sangiovese a depth quite different from that of the soils to the north. Organic cultivation, limited yields, vines between 15 and 60 years old.

"Courageous, headstrong, rebellious" – is how Arianna Occhipinti describes the wine that most resembles her. Frappato, this quintessentially Sicilian grape variety of rural origins, is rooted here in calcareous sandy soils at the foot of the Monti Iblei. Forty-year-old vines near Vittoria, at an altitude of 280 metres, cultivated biodynamically. The winemaking process follows the rhythm of nature: spontaneous fermentation in concrete, thirty days" contact with the skins, then fourteen months" ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels. A long history for a grape variety whose name derives from "vernacolo", meaning "local" or "native to the area": A grape so deeply intertwined with a place that it bears its name. Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara is situated on the San Donato hill, at an altitude of 250 to 360 metres, on sandy soils rich in stones and fossilised marine organisms: a fossilised sea beneath the Tuscan sky. Organically farmed, 5,000 vines per hectare, hand-harvested in the third week of September.

!["Rocca Rubia" Carignano del Sulcis Superiore Riserva DOC 2023]()
“Rocca Rubia” Carignano del Sulcis Superiore Riserva DOC 2023
Rocca Rubia is an archetypal Carignano del Sulcis: powerful, Mediterranean and, at the same time, astonishingly elegant. The grapes come from old vines, some of which are ungrafted, growing in the sandy, coastal vineyards of the lower Sulcis region in south-western Sardinia. Fermentation took place under temperature control in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing for around 10 months in French oak barriques, resulting in a successful balance between oak influence and fruit expression.

![Vernatsch (Schiava) Alto Adige DOC 2025 (BIO)]()
Vernatsch (Schiava) Alto Adige DOC 2025 (BIO)
At a time when South Tyrol was regarded as a red wine region right up until the 1970s, Vernatsch played the leading role. An indigenous grape variety that is now enjoying a masterful renaissance under the guidance of Alois Lageder. This characterful red wine comes from selected vineyards in Kaltern and Kurtatsch, situated at altitudes of between 300 and 400 metres, with the grapes sourced from organically farmed vineyard plots. The year 2024 marks a historic milestone: for the first time, all 60 of the estate's partner winegrowers are working organically or biodynamically. A triumph for sustainable practices, despite the challenging, rainy growing season. The traditional pergola training system, which provides optimal conditions for the shade-loving vines, still characterises the vineyards on the gravelly, limestone-rich soils today.

!["Sassicaia" Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC 2023]()
“Sassicaia” Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC 2023
In 1944, Mario Incisa della Rocchetta planted the first Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the Maremma on a one-hectare plot at the highest point of the estate, in Castiglioncello di Bolgheri. It was a private experiment, intended for family and friends. Until 1967, Sassicaia was enjoyed at the Incisas' dining table. Then, in 1968, the first vintage was released onto the market – appearing in 1971 as a Vino da Tavola. The rest is history. And not just the history of the estate, but the history of Italian wine as a whole. At a blind tasting in London in 1978 – featuring 33 Cabernet wines from around the world – the 1972 Sassicaia emerged victorious. And Luigi Veronelli was the first to recognise the greatness of this wine. In 1994, Bolgheri was granted DOC status for red wines. And in 2013, the Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC was established: the only Denominazione d'Origine in Italy that is exclusively and irrevocably reserved for a single estate.

Barolo DOCG 2022
Altare's Barolo is a Barolo of the four cardinal directions. Not geographically, but in terms of character: from La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d’Alba and the municipality of Barolo, a wine emerges that does not let any single vineyard site take centre stage, but rather lets them all speak at once. A map of the entire appellation in 10,000 bottles. What gives each vintage a different character is the climate. 2022 was hot, dry and concentrated in the Langhe – a year that Parker ranked among the most extraordinary of the last decade. The vines were under stress; the grapes ripened early and fully; and the extraction from 4 to 5 days in rotary fermenters yielded denser fruit and softer tannins than in a cooler year. Twenty-four months in used French barriques gave the wine structure and complexity without overshadowing the warmth of the vintage.

!["Grivò" Pinot Grigio Friuli DOC 2025]()
“Grivò" Pinot Grigio Friuli DOC 2025
In the glass, it is a pale straw-yellow with a greenish sheen; even visually, Grivò conveys freshness and lightness. On the nose, it offers a straightforward, delicately fruity bouquet of Williams pear, green apple, white peach skin and a hint of bread. On the palate, it is juicy and slender with a crisp texture, delicate acidity and a subtle flinty note on the finish. Maturation in stainless-steel tanks preserves the variety’s purity of flavour and emphasises its typically Friulian straightforwardness.
