    With "Family & Friends", Feudo Maccari reinterprets the concept of a Mediterranean white wine – not as a light, casual accompaniment, but as brooding, characterful Grillo born within the Moretti family. The wine was originally intended solely for private occasions – a labour of love which, through its name, now celebrates the connection to people and moments that mean more than mere consumption. The grapes used (label: "only the best grapes") come from strictly selected plots around Noto, where calcareous soils, salty sea breezes and intense sunshine shape the wine's aromas and structure. A complex, vibrant wine with structure and balance.

    In the glass, it is a bright straw-yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose is complex: yellow pear, mandarin, a hint of aniseed, along with Mediterranean herbs and subtle yeasty notes from the ageing process. On the palate, it is dense yet straightforward, with ripe fruit, salty minerality and an almost chalky texture. Its delicate freshness carries this exceptional Grillo into a long, subtly spicy finish with hints of citrus zest and white pepper. Family & Friends is no ordinary wine – it invites conversation, lingers in the memory and combines sophistication with emotion.
