Ca' del Bosco

This cuvée is a traditional blend of grapes from the region and harmoniously combines the fruitiness of Merlot with the elegance of Cabernet Franc and the richness of Carménère grapes. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides backbone, structure and stability as well as good ageing potential. Dark ruby-garnet in colour, the nose has an inviting aroma of blackberries and cherries with a sweet hint of spices. Corte del Lupo Bianco celebrated its debut with the 2017 vintage and is the successor to the classic Curtefranca Bianco, which has been popular for decades. The grapes come from 11 historic vineyards planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco. They are well over 30 years old. Bright straw yellow in colour, with a fresh apricot aroma, fine woody notes and a structured, balanced flavour. Spicy and round on the palate, with a fine acidity and a mineral note on the finish. Elegance is the hallmark of the Prestige Cuvée Rosé, which is unfortunately strictly limited each year. The 45th edition consists of 80% Pinot Noir from the 2020 harvest year and 20% Chardonnay in equal parts from the 2019 and 2020 harvest years. Brilliant, bright pink colour. The Franciacorta Noir Riserva made from 100% Pinot nero, which is very limited every year, has fine details and impressive lemon and grapefruit aromas, framed by gently savoury notes of grilled nuts and pastries. The pure Pinot Nero Franciacorta Annamaria Clementi Rosé is bright pink in colour with delicate amber tones. It beguiles the senses with a subtle bouquet of dried strawberries and zesty citrus fruits, contrasted by the richness of raw almonds and sweet white smoke. It is silky and supple, with a slowly rising structure, yet still manages to surprise with notes of apple and savoury spices, which are then enlivened by a juicy acidity.
