Wonderful, energetic Vermentino with a small part of Petit Manseng, which gives it freshness and "crunch". Surprises on the nose with grapefruit, rosemary and a hint of mirabelle plum and thyme. Manzoni Bianco or Incrocio Manzoni is a cross between Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco. It was named after its breeder, Professor Luigi Manzoni, who first crossed and cultivated it in the 1930s. Straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. Elegant, delicate and very clear bouquet with the aroma of Williams pear and peach. On the palate of exuberant freshness and suppleness, plus sweet-spicy notes of mint and yellow apple, which bring it into wonderful balance with the bright acidity. The full body of the Pinot Blanc and the effervescence of the Riesling have been very palatably put into the bottle here. SUPERIORE.DE

Rosso Piancarda is intensely flavoured and perfumed, with medicinal cherries and raspberries complemented by dusty roses and sweet cedar wood notes. On the palate, Piancarda turns to the savoury spectrum. Salty and full of savoury minerality, it shows spicy red fruits, a hint of plum and a lively acidity that keeps the expression fresh. "The 2020 Rosso Conero Piancarda, a Montepulciano grape variety, rises from the glass with a dusty mix of dried roses, redcurrants and a hint of nectarine, creating a truly inviting bouquet. The wine is silky and elegant, almost creamy, yet sublime and cool, with mineral forest berries and a saline note adding a savoury touch towards the end. The 2020 leaves a layer of fine tannins as inner flowers arch across the palate and a minerality slowly fades. The warm vintage has given this wine a particularly soft character, but the structure and acidity of the Piancarda are beautifully balanced and should favour medium-term cellaring.
