Passerina, a traditional, indigenous grape variety from central Italy, expresses its fresh, lively side here. Pale straw yellow in the glass with a greenish tinge. This accessible Rosso Toscana IGT comes from the high altitudes of the Chianti Classico, around a Romanesque pieve dating back to the 10th century. The cuvée from our own vineyards skilfully combines the freshness and finesse of Sangiovese with the structure and suppleness of Merlot. After separate vinification of the grape varieties, the wine matures for ten months in French and American oak barrels.

Bright garnet colour with a transparent core. Opens with a rich aroma of freshly roasted malt coffee, black elderberry and cherry liqueur, with a hint of tobacco. Ramitello is unjustly overshadowed by Contado. Yet it is a potential favourite red wine that perfectly embodies the intensity of southern Molise. Made from 80% Montepulciano and 20% Aglianico, Ramitello matures for around 18 months, partly in barriques and partly in stainless steel tanks, followed by around six months of bottle ageing. In the glass, it has a deep ruby colour with violet reflections. The bouquet is brooding and complex: ripe plum and blackberry combine with spicy notes of leather, liquorice, eucalyptus and a hint of coffee. The palate shows excellent balance: dense fruit, structured, grippy tannins and a long, fruit-accentuated finish that is characterised by tension and naturalness. Since the 2021 vintage, the grapes for this classic wine have been sourced exclusively from the hills of the Valpolicella core zone of Valpantena: fresh flowers, sweet red berries, mint and a hint of cinnamon escape from the glass. Filippo Fanti has been producing white wine since the 1980s using Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Toscana, which are also used for Vin Santo. At the beginning of 2000, Filippo decided to also plant Viognier and Vermentino in order to blend them with the local grape varieties. The composition of the four varieties varies each year depending on the climatic conditions of the vintage. The name Soralisa recalls the name of Filippo's aunt Elisa, whom he adores. In the hills of Panzano, in the heart of Chianti Classico, Valeria Viganò and Luca Orsini have been realising their vision of sustainable viticulture for over thirty years. On thirty hectares of organically certified land between 400 and 450 metres above sea level, they produce Cinciorosso – the charming "little brother" of the Le Cinciole family. The extremely inviting Rosso Toscana IGT combines 70% Sangiovese with 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 5% Merlot. The grapes come from younger vineyards on the estate, where the Mediterranean climate and the well-draining Galestro soils create ideal conditions. Fermentation takes place traditionally with wild yeasts in cement tanks, followed by gentle ageing, also in concrete – a process that preserves the lively fruitiness and freshness of the vintage.

A German variety finds its South Tyrolean perfection: Kerner, crossed from Trollinger and Riesling in Weinsberg around 1930, unfolds its full aromatic power in the sun-drenched altitudes of the Eisack Valley between 600 and 800 metres. On light, stony sandy soils, this new variety matures into a wine that combines the elegance of Riesling with the robustness of Trollinger. After the harvest harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel in order to optimally preserve their natural freshness. Straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections in the glass. Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara is not only clearly ahead of the game with the famous Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the family winery also proves this with its Rosato Cremisi.
