• "Sirmian" Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2018

“Sirmian” Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2018

Fine Pinot Blanc from the South Tyrolean Wine Road, more precisely from the Sirmian altitude, where the Pinot Bianco finds its ideal location and microclimate. Thus, every year it is of remarkably high quality. Clear and straw yellow sparkling in the glass, intense bouquet of bright flowers, green apple, red currants and a hint of sage. Harmonious, powerful and persistent on the palate, with a full taste typical of the grape variety, mineral in the finish. SUPERIORE.DE

"Bright straw yellow with a golden shimmer. In the nose of rich white peach, apple and pear, tender banana, in the reverberation a hint of nutmeg. On the palate supple and very soft, opens with a creamy body, wonderful melting, builds up in several layers, engaging, clear and long." Falstaff

"Round and creamy, this gorgeous white opens with aromas of chamomile, white stone fruit and baking spice. The delicious palate doles out succulent yellow apple, ripe pear and honeydew melon before a mineral-driven finish. This shows the incredible potential of Pinot Bianco in Alto Adige." Wine Enthusiast

"The 2018 Sirmian Pinot Bianco from Nals Margreid is intense and pungent, but in the best possible way. Wild herbs, lemon peels, and ginger give way to ripe melon and yellow apple. It’s rich yet full of energy, silky in texture with gorgeous inner sweetness to its white orchard fruits, as subtle minerality slowly settles in. Long, juicy and fruity, yet this displays so much depth, complexity and the ability to mature over the medium term." Vinous

"This is one of the best pinot biancos in Italy with wild and vivid fruit and electric acidity. Full body. Tight and energetic. Cool single-vineyard white." James Suckling

    • "Manna" Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2018

“Manna” Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2018

As a young wine, manna has golden yellow shades, after a few years of maturation they turn into strong golden tones. Manna is very special: complex, multi-layered with a bouquet of elder, pistachio, apricot, nutmeg and delicate rose petals. Concentrated, voluminous and at the same time elegant and complex in taste. A wine that, as it evolves, can be discovered from different perspectives and increasingly unfolds its character. Even the young wine changes in the glass and surprises again and again. SUPERIORE.DE

"Fragrant zesty white stone fruits, herbs and wild flowers. Elegant with an aromatic, lively and juicy palate with impressive freshness." Decanter

"Aromas of tropical fruit, graphite, white rose and Alpine herb surge out of the glass on this fragrant white. A blend of Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Kerner and late-harvested Traminer, the medium-bodied savory palate evokes ripe apricot, grapefruit, pineapple and tangy saline alongside bright acidity." Wine Enthusiast

"Loads of mangoes and apricots on the nose follow through to a full body with lots of dried fruit, such as peaches, following through to a lively, fresh palate. Light bitter citrus on the finish. Complex as always." James Suckling

    • 1924 Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Brut

1924 Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Brut

"1924" is a reminiscence of the founder Antonio Carpenè, who was largely responsible for the development of the Prosecco Spumante as we know it today. Equipped with a beautiful reproduction of the label of that time, the production is also special: the necessary second fermentation on the yeast in the pressure tank (autoclave) lasts here a whole 25 days, which leads to a finer expression of the bouquet, the aromas and the perlage. This high quality Prosecco Superiore presents itself in the nose delicately fruity with ripe fruit and white flowers, in the taste it is full of character with a beautiful acidity, the right dose of yellow pome fruit and subtle almond notes. This noble bubble / sparkling wine is a prime example of DOCG and a more than adequate tribute to its inventor! SUPERIORE.DE

"Bright, brilliant silver with fine perlage. In the nose melon, smoke, slightly bacon, flint. On the palate balanced and fine, rests elegantly in itself, juicy, opens clearly and balanced, in the aftertaste further juicy and slightly salty, long. Falstaff

    • "St. Valentin" Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2019

“St. Valentin” Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2019

Sauvignon Sanct Valentin is probably the most famous white wine of the St. Michael-Eppan winery. Since 1989 it has been vinified from carefully selected individual sites at the foot of the Mendelstock. Yellow-green colour, dense bouquet of yellow fruits, gooseberry, elderflower and ripe currant, on the palate smooth with elegant, floral fullness and crisp acidity. A great top wine and probably the most awarded white wine of the internationally highly respected winegrowers' cooperative. SUPERIORE.DE

"Shiny pale green-yellow. Very present and clear nose, smells of elderflower, dark currant and some peach. In the beginning good volume, juicy and round, some balm, in the final long after elderflowers." Falstaff

    • "Andrius" Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2018

“Andrius” Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2018

Sauvignon Andrius matures on the yeast for six months and is a lively, well-structured white wine with great varietal typicity. Ripe peaches, dried apricots, juicy honeydew melon, candied almonds, flowers and a hint of mint together with the elegant style create a remarkable overall picture. Great class! SUPERIORE.DE

"Powerful aromas of nettle, honey and gooseberry. Round and ripe with juicy tropical fruit flavours and impressive aromatic finish." Decanter

"A sauvignon that is more on the tropical-fruit side with mango and peach character both on the nose and palate. Full-bodied, layered and flavorful. Very perfumed on the finish with light oiliness. Flinty finish." James Suckling

"Fragrant, bright and balanced, the Cantina Andriano (Kellerei Andrian) 2018 Alto Adige Sauvignon Blanc Andrius is a beautiful wine and a pristine expression of this fragrant grape. High-altitude Sauvignon Blanc from Northern Italy presents enormous varietal purity with white flower, honey, tropical fruit and garden-fresh tomato leaf. The freshness and the sharpness of those aromas is just terrific, especially in a balanced cool vintage such as 2018. • "DUBL ESSE" Metodo Classico VSQ s.a. Dosaggio Zero

“DUBL ESSE” Metodo Classico VSQ s.a. Dosaggio Zero

Feudi di San Gregorio's DUBL project was born in 2004 out of an awareness of the great richness of the autochthonous vines of the Irpinia region and the desire to open up new horizons for them: as a Classico Spumante metodo or through the famous Méthode Champenoise. A consultant was quickly found - none other than Anselme Selosse, who is known for his champagne and his intuition for the peculiarities of the vines and vineyards.

A quarter of the base wines of this top product are aged in oak barrels for 6 months, then the cuvée is aged in the bottle for 3 years on fine yeast before being disgorged. Strong light yellow and a super-fine perlage. In the nose light fruit, yeasty notes and nuances of fresh bread. On the palate then powerful, fresh, with beautiful spice and a potpourri of stone fruit, fine honey note and roasted almonds. This sparkling wine does completely without dosage, it is extremely dry with all its aromas and for us with its impressive finish one of the great spumanti of Italy. SUPERIORE.DE

"Disgorged in 2016, the NV Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero Dubl Esse sees a blend of fruit from the 2010 and 2011 vintages. All of the wine stays on the lees for three years, but only a quarter of the wine is aged in oak for six months. This is a new product from Feudi di San Gregorio with super-modern packaging and immediate appeal. The palate is fresh and zesty with endnotes of stone fruit, honey and toasted nut." Robert Parker

    • "Piodilei" Chardonnay Langhe DOC 2017

      “Piodilei” Chardonnay Langhe DOC 2017

Piodilei is the white flagship of the winery since 1985. The grapes come from the single vineyard Il Bricco, from which the grapes of the Barbaresco Crus, which is awarded every year, also come. From the very beginning, Pio's aim has been to use this white to create a wine that has the same complexity and storage potential as the great red wines of this region.

Sparkling straw yellow. Complex bouquet of herbal spice, tender buttery notes, flint, pear and sweet yellow fruit. In the glass of impressive freshness with a finely integrated oak spice and notes of pineapple and chestnut. A fresh, complex and serious white wine that is unrivalled in the region. SUPERIORE.DE

"Sparkling straw yellow with shades of green. Finely drawn nose with notes of fresh pineapple and grapefruit, with lime blossom and damp stones in the background. Unfolds on the palate with very good weight, creamy and round, but also has well-integrated acidity, giving the wine tension, balanced and long, with a banana aftertaste." Falstaff

"The Pio Cesare 2017 Langhe Chardonnay Piodilei opens to a few whiffs of smoke and flint before you get to the orchard and passion fruits that are at the core of this pretty white wine. The wine is oak fermented, and you get hints of toasted almond, honey and ripe melon along the way. Despite the hot vintage, the style of this wine embraces freshness, lightness and elegance. A pair with sea urchin is just what I was thinking." Robert Parker

"This is a layered and beautiful chardonnay with wonderful character. Full-bodied, deep and focused. Love the phenolic tension and seriousness. Cooked apples and pineapples and hints of vanilla and cream." James Suckling

A wonderfully concentrated and elegant wine, which is already excellent to drink. In the nose the typical varietal bouquet with light balsamic notes. On the palate pleasantly straightforward and fine, silky and full of harmony. SUPERIORE.DE

"A firm, fresh red with currant and blackberry aromas and flavors, as well as hints of hazelnuts and walnuts. Polished and delicious. More elegant than past vintages." James Suckling

"Opening to a thick and impenetrable appearance, the 2016 Sicilia Cabernet Sauvignon Tenuta Regaleali Vigna San Francesco is a velvety and seductive wine that glides over the palate with elegance and power. Blackberry, plum and dark prune segue to spice, tobacco and tar. There is a touch of rosemary essence, but basically this well-ripened Cabernet Sauvignon doesn't register the distracting vegetal or pyrazine aromas that past (distant past) editions have shown. In fact, there is a touch of warm-vintage sweetness on the close." Robert Parker

The primary rock soil, the dry warmth during the day and the cool nights offer excellent conditions for the Vinschgauer Riesling to thrive in a steep southern location between 550 and 900 metres.

Brilliant golden yellow. Aromas of peach and apple combine in the bouquet with a well dosed portion of minerality. On the palate complex and multi-layered with yellow fruits, spices and lime. “Vinalia” Goldmuskateller Passito Alto Adige DOC 2017

Named after the ancient Roman wine festivals, the Passito Vinalia is a sweet dessert wine that goes particularly well with the South Tyrolean apple strudel. The strictly selected grapes, air-dried after the harvest, come from the sun-drenched vineyards on the slopes of Bolzano at an altitude of 300 to 400 metres above sea level. They are gently pressed about 4 months after the harvest and then fermented in used French barriques. Fermentation stops at max. 10% vol. due to the high sugar content of the mash.

Golden yellow with amber nuances, the nose is bewitched by the scent of ripe apricots, pineapples, sugar melons and peaches, in addition to candied exotic fruits. In the mouth its opulence impresses with a very refreshing and harmonious acidity. A masterpiece! SUPERIORE.DE
