"Vintage Tunina" has been one of Italy's style-defining cuvées since the 1970s - a white monument that pushes boundaries. Silvio Jermann was one of the first people in Friuli to combine international grape varieties with local grapes and vinify them with Burgundian precision. The blend of Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana and Picolit comes from top-class vineyards near Farra d'Isonzo and Dolegna del Collio, on marl and sandstone soils with a perfect microclimate. The 2022 vintage was characterised by a warm, dry summer and occasional cool nights in August - a combination that ensured optimal ripeness, moderate yields and fine acidity levels.

Brilliant straw yellow in the glass with golden reflections. Complex and deep on the nose: ripe yellow fruit, dried pineapple, candied citrus notes, camomile, honey, a hint of vanilla, wet stone and white pepper. On the palate, the wine is structured, full-bodied and at the same time surprisingly fine - carried by a salty minerality, fresh acidity and a harmonious interplay of grape varieties. The partial ageing in wood (approx. 11 months) gives the wine texture and depth without weighing it down. The finish has a lingering hint of tropical fruit, delicate herbal spice and ripe yellow fruit. "Vintage Tunina" is not a loud soloist, but an orchestral masterpiece with elegance, tension and enormous ageing potential.
