A vibrant and by no means run-of-the-mill expression of Piedmont: this Dolcetto comes from vineyards on calcareous soils around Vergne, from vines between 25 and 60 years old. The grapes were harvested by hand from late September through to the start of autumn, followed by a relatively long alcoholic maceration with careful temperature control. The wine was aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks.

In the glass, it displays a sparkling purplish-red colour with violet highlights. The nose is open and fragrant: notes of rose petals, raspberry, blackcurrant and a hint of delicate spices rise to the fore, emphasising the varietal character. On the palate, it is lively and finely structured: juicy berry flavours, crisp acidity and soft yet distinct tannins combine to create a harmonious whole. The finish is pleasantly fresh, with floral elegance and a hint of herbaceous spice – a Dolcetto that immediately delights whilst possessing both stability and individuality. A modern classic for everyday enjoyment: style-defining and full of character and clarity. SUPERIORE.DE
