“Cor Römigberg” Cabernet Sauvignon Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2019 (BIO)
Cherry-red Cabernet Sauvignon with a small proportion of Petit Verdot, the complex bouquet is reminiscent of blackcurrants; there are also mint flavours and floral notes, which are interwoven with the pleasantly balanced wood note. Powerful and dense on the palate; the fine-grained tannins are harmoniously integrated, with an impressive elegance and length on the final. SUPERIORE.DE
"A delightful nose of cigar box spices and smoked tobacco draws you into the glass, where the fragrant overtone continues. This finely meshed version offers notes of ripe red and blackcurrant with slightly chalky tannins and hints of olive, espresso and smoke. This seductive red wine is fresh, elegant and expressive." Wine Spectator
"The Alois Lageder 2019 Alto Adige Cabernet Sauvignon Cor Römigberg shows very concentrated and rich fruit that gives the wine a heavy center of gravity. That fruit density is accompanied by lifted aromas of sour cherry, Valentine's Day red rose and scented candle. All these elements are framed by a pretty mineral lining. The tannins reveal a very dry quality that I liked less, but the aromas accurately reflect cool Alpine influences." Wine Advocate

“Gant” Merlot Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2021
Deep Merlot Riserva with a multi-layered bouquet reminiscent of dried fruit, wild raspberries, blackberries and tobacco. Very dense fruit on the palate, powerful body and polished tannins. This wine impressively demonstrates what Merlot can achieve in South Tyrol! So much depth and power in the very long finish. Good ageing potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"Spicy aromas of green olives, dried dill and smoke give way to a lovely palette of black cream cherries, dried raspberries, star anise and mineral notes on the palate of this fresh, well-structured red wine with medium body, fine-grained tannins and good length." Wine Spectator
"The 2021 Merlot Riserva Gant burst from the glass with vivid wild blueberries complemented by sweet spices and rubbed sage. This is soft and enveloping with masses of ripe red and blue fruits that stain the palate. Tactile mineral tones add a crunchy sensation toward the close. The 2021 cleans up beautifully through the long and lightly structured finale, leaving crunchy tannins and a wild berry resonance." Vinous

Limitation of 3 articles per customer“Granato” Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2020 (BIO)
Granato has been an exceptional Teroldego for years: It convinces in the bouquet with its rich balsamic scent of sour cherries and red currants. Extract-rich and intense, powerful and extremely precise on the palate. A great wine that reflects the long-standing consistency and competence of this winemaker. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2020 Teroldego Granato is so youthful yet so beautiful, rising from the glass with an infectiously spicy bouquet that is at times autumnal, at times savoury, mingling with dark red fruits. The palate is flooded with a wave of intense raspberries and wild berries that quickly saturate, but with a hint of sour citrus for a nice balance. A pretty inner sweetness lingers as it finishes structured and remarkably long with a refreshing hint of inner rose and wild strawberry that lingers on. It's powerful but also elegant and perfectly balanced for a long evolution." Vinous
"This wine shows deep red and dark berries with peppery notes, dark chocolate, hibiscus and grapefruit peel. Just a hint of cedar and smoked herbs. Full and concentrated, so stable and dense with lively, finely honed tannins and vibrant acidity giving the wine power and highlighting the savoury fruit and minerality. Very long and tense." James Suckling
"Iconic wine, one of the expressive peaks of Teroldego. Fermentation in open oak vats, ageing in acacia and cement casks, great freshness on the nose, redcurrants, touches of wild mint and rhubarb, on the palate it is dense-sweet, with a fruity-balsamic return and a finish on underbrush notes." The vineyards of the five grape varieties are located at altitudes between 350 and 800 metres above sea level and face southwest. The vines grow on –, –, – and marl soils.
As a young wine, Manna has golden yellow hues, after a few years of ageing they turn into strong golden tones. Manna is very special: complex, multi-layered with the bouquet of elderberry, pistachio, apricot, nutmeg and delicate rose petals. Concentrated, voluminous and at the same time elegant and complex on the palate. A wine that can be discovered from different perspectives in the course of its development and unfolds its character more and more. Even the young wine changes in the glass and surprises again and again. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright straw yellow with light reflections. In the nose elderflower, yellow blossoms, stone fruit and juicy lemon. On the palate mineral and fresh, with pressure, stretches racy over the tongue, long in the final." Falstaff
"Fleshy floral nose, interesting and expansive. The palate is poised and taut with juicy fruit flavours of white peach and mandarin, great texture cut through with tantalising acidity." Decanter
"This is a generous, medium–bodied white that plays important cards in terms of length and texture. Rich apricot and orchard fruit segue to dusty mineral. It ends on a dry note, but also shows softness and richness." Wine Advocate
"Sliced pear, green pineapple, fennel, elderflower and lime zest on the nose. Medium–bodied with a vibrant, flavorful and exotic palate. Plenty of citrus and tropical fruit. Juicy and tangy." James Suckling

“Granato” Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2021 (BIO)
Granato has been an exceptional Teroldego for years: its bouquet is impressive with its rich, balsamic aroma of sour cherries and redcurrants. Rich in extract and intense, powerful and extremely precise on the palate. A great wine that reflects the many years of consistency and expertise of this winemaker. SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark as night, the 2021 Teroldego Granato smolders up from the glass with an array of crushed ashen stones and earth tones giving way to black raspberries, mentholated herbs and exotic spice. Silky smooth yet full of zesty tension, this sweeps across the palate with tart wild berry fruits and sour citrus tones propelled by vibrant acidity. The 2021 leaves the senses drenched in primary concentration with a tart blackberry crunch, seeds and all, and edgy tannins that grumble on. This especially intense and tightly knit Granato will pay dividends in the cellar." Vinous

Limitation of 1 articles per customer“Lieben Aich” Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige Terlano DOC 2021 (BIO)
"Unlike anything you know: this single-varietal Sauvignon Blanc is wild and unspoilt. A special experience for wine lovers." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Weingut Manincor
Golden yellow Sauvignon with rich, complex aromas of ripe tropical fruit such as mango, papaya and passion fruit. Full-bodied on the palate, otherwise rather mineral like wet stone and with a juicy acidity. The long finish is also a harmonious exchange of blows between austere minerality and ripe fruit. Lieben Aich is a rustic and rare experience for true Sauvignon fans (only around 3,000 bottles filled)! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, sparkling straw yellow. Opens with appealing notes of lemon balm and sage, then some lime and green peach. Round and balanced on the palate, shows very good tension, juicy fruit, full-bodied pressure on the final." Falstaff
"Like Tannenberg, this is also from the Lieben Aich vineyard, but with very slightly lower yields and lower production. It's made in the same way but with an extra month in barrel. It's a more floral style, showing more freshness and some green fruits on the nose. Intense and more compact, it's textured, limey and slightly leesy, with some peachy fruit, a touch of spice and then some more creamy green fruits to finish." Decanter
"A unique Sauvignon with a beautiful nose that shows the freshness of the mountain air together with the minerality of gravel and subtle notes of stone fruit, honey, dried summer herbs and raw almonds. The palate shows great tension with a medium to full body, even, long-lasting acidity and salty undertones. Hints of minerals and salted lemons with a delicate, silky finish." James Suckling

“Porphyr” Lagrein Riserva Alto Adige Terlano DOC 2021
Dark, aromatic, full-bodied Lagrein Riserva. Smells of dark fruit, herbs, liquorice, toasted oak and minerals. Expansive and very generous on the palate, profound and endowed with marvellous minerality. SUPERIORE.DE
"Deep cherry and plum flavours combine with sage, white pepper and cloves as the Porphyry Lagrein Riserva 2021 shimmers from the glass. Silky on the palate, the tension quickly increases as the tart wild berries saturate and the grippy tannins gather towards the end. The wine finishes with dramatic length and a powerful structure. Bitter notes of liquorice linger." Vinous
"Creamy and fine-grained, with a supple palette of pureed blackberries, black cherry compote, violets, thyme and graphite notes. This medium to full-bodied version is elegant, with fine-grained tannins that define the lingering, savoury finish." Wine Spectator

Deep dark violet colour. Tart black cherry and notes of violet candy, graphite and spicy herbs on the nose. Wonderfully velvety texture on the palate, powerful, savoury and with grippy tannins. Perfectly integrated wood, good structure and a justified hope for a long, mature life. SUPERIORE.DE
"Big, bold and beautiful, this wine states its case plainly with forward aromas of blackberry, violets, licorice and crushed stone. Seemingly hedonistic, the wine restrains itself on the palate with gamy and savory flavors that draw the attention deeper into the wine as it continues to develop with each minute in the glass finishing with a firm stamp of tannins on the finish." Wine Enthusiast
"A fragrant version, with an expressive note of macerated boysenberries and a warm blend of baked cherry, fig cake, dried sage and cocoa powder. Fine, chalky tannins firm up the savoury finish with notes of olive, smoke and ground pepper." Wine Spectator

“Mantele” Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2020 · MAGNUM in gift box
Sparkling yellow-green. The elegant, floral-scented Sauvignon Bianco Mantele is irresistible with beautiful varietal typicity and a pleasingly slender waistline. Fine mineral notes on the palate give play, overall very juicy and fresh. SUPERIORE.DE
"Elderflower, greengage and lime aromas with a lemon tart character on the palate; fresh and crisp with a grassy finish." Decanter
"Intense bright straw yellow. In the nose gooseberry, sage and ripe stone fruit. On the palate juicy, nice freshness, round and full-bodied, salty and with a long finish." Falstaff
"Classic varietal aromas of elderflower, crushed tomato leaves and citrus come to the fore. The palate is full-bodied with juicy grapefruit, peach, dried herbs and salt, framed by racy acidity." Wine Enthusiast
"The Nals Margreid 2020 Alto Adige Sauvignon Mantele is one of the classic white wines of this winery with exotic fruit, grapefruit and fragrant pear. This pretty wine is fresh and lean, with a good sense of tension and energy. It is the winery's "classic" interpretation of the grape variety, offering a little more structure on the finish. It plays its best cards in terms of mouthfeel. The Sauvignon Blanc vines are planted near the winery and are 40 to 45 years old. They are some of the first vines planted with Guyot in South Tyrol." Wine Advocate
"A ripe and complete Sauvignon blanc with an amazing complexity of fresh herbs and a hint of passion fruit on the nose. Beautiful textural complexity on the concentrated but only moderately rich palate. Long, complex finish with stimulating herbal and mineral vitality." James Suckling

“Löwengang” Chardonnay Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2020 (BIO)
Sparkling, rich straw yellow colour, rich, complex aroma with a delicate, pleasantly creamy nose and the scent of vanilla, mango and fresh pineapple. Full, opulent and full of tension on the palate, juicy and salty, very elegant flavour, accompanied by a fresh, well-balanced acidity. The ideally integrated wood note and the fruity, complex body form a harmonious and impressive unit. The long-lasting finish is refined with a subtle hint of bitter almond. SUPERIORE.DE
"Beautiful flint notes, meadow flowers and limes on the nose. Fine grip on the palate, herbal notes and fresh fruit perfectly balanced, white flowers, long, animating acidity, salty finish." Weinwisser
"Sparkling, pale straw yellow with light green nuances. Opens with a cool hint of mint, nectarine and gooseberry, some flint. Shows emphatically fresh notes on the palate, savoury, persistent, quite light-bodied overall." Falstaff
"The Alois Lageder 2020 Chardonnay Löwengang opens with an elegant hint of reduction, reminiscent of flint or burnt matches. It lifts quickly to reveal pear, quince, golden apple, honey glaze, vanilla wafer and saffron. There's a spicy side too, with pink peppercorns and plenty of glacier-like minimalism." Wine Advocate
"The Löwengang Chardonnay is an icon of Italian Chardonnay and continues to demonstrate the Lageder winery's commitment to producing wines of the highest quality. Aromas of spiced baked apples, Comice pears, candied lemon peel, white flowers and baking spices are present. On the palate, the wine is rich and broad, with a creamy texture and hints of vanilla and sweet and savoury spices. The wine finishes with the energy and pulse of the mountains, showing both the minerality and important acidity that gives this wine the structure for the long haul." Wine Enthusiast
"A rich white wine in a graceful frame, with a pronounced salinity that works with vibrant acidity to define the medley of baked pineapple and persimmon, toasted almonds and pastry cream, Meyer lemon peel and elderflower. Expressive and well-knit, with a long finish that reflects the spectrum of flavours and contains additional mineral and spicy elements." Wine Spectator
"Deep nose with a sharp mineral undertone to the complex flavours of white sesame, praline, grilled spices and roasted pineapple. Broad and savoury on the palate with medium to full body and a very tangy, engaging finish. Long, savoury and concentrated." James Suckling
"The Chardonnay Löwengang, which was first produced in 1984, is a prime example of the variety in Alto Adige. It comes from the best plots of 30 to 80-year-old Chardonnay vines in Magrè, near the winery, and is fermented spontaneously in barriques, followed by 11 months on the lees. The result in 2020 is a wine reminiscent of a Puligny, with a nose of flint and matches that introduces a clean and fresh, intense, savoury and persistent palate. The juicy complexity of melon, stone fruit and tropical fruit gives it a wonderful vibrancy and potential for medium-term cellaring." Decanter

“St. Valentin” Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2021 · MAGNUM in gift box
Pinot Blanc Sanct Valentin - a lively and powerful top wine made from grapes from single vineyards with minimal yields. Golden yellow with green reflections, velvety soft aromas of apple, melon and vanilla on the nose; complex flavour, fresh and elegant with mineral finesse and a delicately bitter finish. Good ageing and Storage potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright straw yellow with golden reflections. White stone fruit and Golden Delicious apple on the nose, with floral notes and a touch of hazelnut from the fine wood ageing on the finish. Pleasant mouthfeel on the palate, fresh and juicy, well-balanced, with a long finish." Falstaff
"Pure and mineral bouquet with apple slices, stones and a hint of mussels. Nicely salty on the palate, with a medium body and a fresh, elegant finish. Good length." James Suckling
"The 2021 Sanct Valentin Pinot Blanc from South Tyrol shows an initially neutral bouquet with clear notes of white pomelo fruit, lemon, pulverised stone and a hint of freshly grated ginger root. There are glacier-like flavours of salted road surface with melted snow, or alternatively salt from the rim of a margarita glass. I love this style of alpine Italian white wine." Wine Advocate

“St. Valentin” Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC 2021 · MAGNUM in gift box
Excellent Pinot Grigio, matured in small wooden barrels. Strong straw yellow colour, fruity aroma of apple, pear and fine vanilla, strong character in taste with pleasantly gentle acidity, strength and fullness. Pinot Grigio Sanct Valentin has been convincing for decades and is consistently one of the highest-rated Pinot Grigio wines in Italy. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, intense straw yellow colour. Banana, ripe apple and a hint of flint on the nose. Well-balanced, drinky, fresh and juicy on the palate, with a lingering finish." Falstaff
"The 2021 Pinot Grigio Sanct Valentin is unobtrusive with a pretty mix of lime-soaked apples and grated sage. It's soft and round, with cooling acidity, ripe fruit and melon tones swirling through a stream of vibrant acidity. The finish is savoury and long. The mouth remains watery and the traces of ginger spice slowly fade." Vinous
"The 2021 Pinot Grigio Sanct Valentin has aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, gooseberry, some white pepper, waxy notes, petrol, honeycomb and lemon compote. Something reminds me of acrylic chalk. The medium-bodied mouthfeel finishes with raw honey." Wine Advocate
"A very well made Pinot Grigio with notes of crushed stones, white almonds, nectarines, subtle cream and meringue. Excellent weight and texture on the palate with a full body and a long but elegant finish with a subtle phenolic kick at the end. An outstanding Pinot Grigio." James Suckling

“St. Valentin” Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2022 · MAGNUM in gift box
Sauvignon Sanct Valentin is probably the best-known white wine from the St. Michael-Eppan winery. It has been vinified from carefully selected single vineyards at the foot of the Mendelstock since 1989. Yellow-green in colour, dense bouquet of yellow fruit, gooseberry, elderflower and ripe redcurrant, smooth on the palate with elegant, floral fullness and crisp acidity. A great and very savoury top wine and probably the most award-winning white from the internationally highly respected winegrowers' cooperative. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. Intense aromas of fresh elderflower and gooseberry on the nose, with hints of sage and citrus fruit on the finish. Very juicy on the palate, with a pleasant acidity structure, drinky, long finish." Falstaff
"An elegant white, light and supple, with delicate notes of chive blossom, Thai basil and pink grapefruit peel accentuating flavours of melon and gooseberry, stone, ground ginger and white pepper. Creamy finish." Wine Spectator
"Powerful Sauvignon nose with lots of gooseberry, guava, white asparagus and stones. Fresh and medium-bodied on the palate with intense flavour and length. Crisp, salted green apples on a medium-long finish." James Suckling
"The Sauvignon Sanct Valentin 2022 blossoms with a hint of sweet spice, which is replaced by minty herbs and green apples with lime flavour. It has a soft texture with juicy acidity and a balanced inner sweetness. Ripe fruit flavours saturate the palate. Despite its intensity, the 2022's finish is remarkably fresh yet savoury and leaves you wanting more." Vinous
"Aged three-quarters in stainless steel and one-quarter in oak, the balanced Sauvignon Sanct Valentin is redolent of green papaya, tropical fruit, tomato leaf and a hint of struck match, which indicates some minor reduction. Fruit is harvested from gravel soils at a cool 450 to 600 meters above sea level." Wine Advocate

“Nussbaumer” Gewürztraminer Alto Adige DOC 2021 · MAGNUM in gift box
The world-famous Gewürztraminer Nussbaumer has been a real benchmark for years and is also a convincing wine in terms of longevity. Bright yellow in colour with greenish reflections. Typically perfect, complex and deep, but also agile and fresh with beautiful nuances. Smoky notes, black tea, yellow-spicy fruit. On the palate it flows silky smooth, velvety and spicy, lingers for a long time, great! SUPERIORE.DE
"Sparkling straw yellow with clear green nuances. Impressive nose with fragrant notes of fresh rose petals, lots of lychee and mango, some cloves in the background. Round and supple in the attack and on the palate, intense spicy notes, lays over the tongue like a carpet, also shows good freshness and juiciness, very long finish." Falstaff
"An opera house full of expanse, roses and drama. Satin and cardamom. Salt and baklava. Bay leaf and Turkish delight. No rough edges, no bite - like a dance of ribbons. Rippling, gyrating, swirling wonders that flow through the mouth. Astonishing tenderness, despite the tiny fiery sharpness of the ginger biscuit. Still youthfully tingling, but already in all its splendour. Jancis Robinson
"This creamy white wine smells of jasmine and lime blossom, is light and fresh, with lively acidity that frames flavours of baked peach, lemon oil, tangerine peel and fresh thyme." Wine Spectator
"Elegant flavours of lychee, white peach, ginger and roses, but it remains restrained and multi-layered. This is not a brash Gewürztraminer, packed with flavours that make you feel a bit too much. On the contrary, it's quite interwoven and refined, with a natural, medium-bodied acidity that adds enough freshness to the round, flavourful palate. Medium to full-bodied, supple and generous with subtle glycerine sweetness and phenolic notes on the finish. Flavours of lychee and orange blossom on the finish." James Suckling
"Nussbaumer is the result of around 20 different vinifications of Gewurztraminer, each with a different level of residual sugar. It spends 11 months on its lees in stainless steel tanks before bottling, lending freshness and texture to the intensity of rose petal, tropical fruit, soft pear, mango and white flowers. Incredibly fresh and long, this is benchmark stuff." Decanter

“Quarz” Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige Terlano DOC 2022
The grapes for Terlan's Ikonen wine come from vineyards at an altitude of 300 to 550 metres with volcanic porphyry rock. Powerful, attractively exotic bouquet with bright gooseberries, mango and pink grapefruit, backed by a captivating mineral flavour. There is also lemongrass and herbal, ethereal notes. On the palate, it is juicy and full-bodied, but not overloaded, instead deeply spicy, smoky, with a mineral-salty structure, followed by green-herbal notes in the focussed, mineral final. Every year, Quarz is one of the best Italian Sauvignon Blancs in its full splendour. As always, Cantina Terlano shows a skilful winemaker's hand in guiding the natural flavours of the grape, but also in delivering a very elegant interpretation. SUPERIORE.DE
"The name Quarz is derived from the quartz inclusions in the porphyry. A powerful, smoky bouquet with fine Sauvignon Blanc fruit, blackcurrant, elderberry and hints of herbs and minerals. In the mouth, it is initially taut and tightly woven, but then also melting with a fine texture and marvellous accompanying mineral spice." Weinwisser
"This lively, mineral white wine is long and graceful, with a hint of salinity that adds a delicious savoury note to the concentrated spectrum of nectarine, pink grapefruit granita, gooseberry, chive blossom and white pepper." Wine Spectator
"The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Quarz is youthfully coy, opening with an airy bouquet that mixes crushed rocks with dried flowers, hints of petrol and nectarines. This is pure pleasure on the palate, soft and round, with juicy acidity and ripe citrus-tinged orchard fruits that swirl as salty mineral tones penetrate deeply. The 2022 finishes with outstanding length and tension, leaving hints of sour melon and a tart lemon rind tinge. The 2022 is intense and built for the cellar." Vinous

Limitation of 6 articles per customer“Sirmian 50 anni” Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2021 · MAGNUM in gift box
Anniversary edition: Top-class Pinot Bianco from the South Tyrolean Wine Route, more precisely from the exposed Sirmian vineyard, where the Pinot Bianco finds its ideal location and an optimal microclimate. Every year it is of remarkable quality. Clear and sparkling straw yellow in the glass, with an intense bouquet of light flowers, green apple, redcurrants and a hint of sage and nutmeg. Harmonious, powerful and persistent on the palate, with a full flavour typical of the grape variety and a beautiful melting, mineral finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Pinot Bianco Sirmian 2021 has a bouquet of sweet floral scents, freshly cut green apples and ginger. On the palate, it is round and soothing, with a lively acidity and lime nuances that enliven the ripe fruit of the orchard. The 2021 is wonderfully fresh and balanced, finishing with commendable length and subtle spice." Vinous
"A fresh, mineral-driven white, with a pleasing tension and fine knit to the flavors of patisserie apple, pear and blanched almond. Offers accents of honeycomb, chamomile, lemon peel and ground ginger on the long and creamy finish." Wine Spectator
"Bright, intense straw yellow colour. Opens on the nose with ripe apple and melon, underpinned by spicy notes of meadow herbs and hay. Filling in the mouth, with beautiful pressure on the palate, rich fruit through to the long finish." Falstaff
"It's chewy with dried apple and mango and some lemon zest. Also dried peaches. Full-bodied with multi-layered fruit and fresh acidity. Also some yoghurt character." James Suckling
"This bottle bears a special 50th anniversary label, making it one of the oldest representatives of this grape variety in the region. The Nals Margreid 2021 Alto Adige Pinot Bianco Sirmian draws its fruit from over 15 hectares of high-altitude vineyards, where this grape variety shows its best results. A beautiful expression with a mouthful that is so precise and sharp that the wine tastes almost spicy. Grapefruit, Granny Smith apple and crisp pear are offset by a light spiciness and saffron. There's also a hint of white peppercorn." Wine Advocate
"Creamy and smooth with plenty of lemon zest, nutty baked apple, ripe apricot and saffron, emphasised by the emerging strong minerality and focused saline finish." Decanter
"One of the clearest Pinot Blancs in Alto Adige, flavoured with the crisp craftsmanship that is at home in Nalles. Vineyards at the foot of the winery, 7 months in barrels and steel tanks, cedar peel and hawthorn on the nose. Very taut, lively, spicy and with an excellent finish on the palate." Luca Gardini

“Sgarzon” Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2019 (BIO) · MAGNUM in gift box
Sgarzon is a single vineyard, barely more than a kilometre from Morei as the crow flies, but here the Noce has deposited more sand in the upper layers of soil, the plot is more open and thus less protected from cold winds. The grapes ripen about a week later. Teroldego Sgarzon is fabulous, delicate and full of richness and energy from the attack to the final. The bouquet - an exciting blend of dark fruits, tobacco, flowers, liquorice, mint and minerals. Very clear, pure and clean on the palate. SUPERIORE.DE
"Deep purple red, very similar to the colour of the 2020, so no indication that it is a year older. The flavour is a little deeper and more intense compared to the 2020, perhaps less delicately aromatic, a little spicier. There's still that dark red fruit character, more dark (but not sweet) cherry, and the floral note is still there, but it's deeper and needs to be found rather than offering itself so freely. The tannins are a little firmer, but still with that superfine grain. There's tension and energy and a sense of life waiting to explode. Gently chewy texture and deliciously fresh on the finish. Juicy. Amazingly long." Jancis Robinson
"The Teroldego Sgarzon 2019 takes its time to open up in the glass, but the wait is worth it, as its bouquet consists of crushed ash stones, blackcurrants and exotic spices. As dark and brooding as its aroma, it is also surprisingly energetic and powerful on the palate. A mixture of piquant acidity and tart wild berries collide and create tension and contrasts. Sweet tannins and minerals hold the senses until the long and dramatic final, promising many more years of development. The 2019 Sgarzon is intense, but also playful. I can't wait to taste this vintage again in a few years." Vinous
"This red wine has an extreme mountain wine personality, expressed in an abundance of wild herb and cranberry flavours, crisp acidity and a taut body. Somehow the generous and slightly juicy tannins blend seamlessly into the wine's lean profile. Long, crisp and mineral finish." James Suckling
