    Gianni Masciarelli hat im Laufe von drei Jahrzehnten eines der führenden Weingüter Italiens geschaffen. Er starb im Sommer 2008. Seine Liebe galt der Landschaft, den Menschen und den ­Rebsorten der Abruzzen. Bei den Weinen setzte er stets auf Montepulciano d’Abruzzo und auf Trebbiano d’Abruzzo.

    Heute wird das Weingut von Giannis Frau, Marina Cvetic und Tochter Miriam erfolgreich weitergeführt. Und sie vinifizieren mit "La Botte di Gianni" seine Vision von Trebbiano und Montepulciano.
