“Prima Pietra” Rosso Costa Toscana IGT 2021 (BIO)
Prima Pietra is the flagship wine of the small Maremma branch of Castiglion del Bosco. The grapes come from what is probably the highest vineyard site on the Costa Toscana, 450 metres above sea level. Bright ruby red in colour with violet hues. Inviting spicy notes on the nose, finely characterised, with lots of dark berries and some dark chocolate, very profound. Full of tension on the palate, shows good density, with lots of fine-meshed tannins, polished, but also juicy, present fruit. Very precise progression into the long finish. SUPERIORE.DE

“Gin di Serafico” Maremma Dry
The special thing about London Dry Gin is not only the typical, natural juniper note, but also the strict production specifications. The botanicals (fruits, herbs and spices), which are usually (and also here) top secret, must be added before distillation and artificial flavours have no place in this product. The additional ethanol added must be exclusively of agricultural origin, so that it can rightly be claimed that a London Dry Gin is produced according to a strict purity law.
The Italians - and also the people behind Frank & Serafico - firmly believe in the old adage that Italian food and drink celebrate the genius of nature, not the person who prepared it. They represent an unbridled desire and passion to gently capture the scent of the herbs of Tuscany's Maremma in their gin, alongside the classic juniper, and reflect it as authentically as possible. This is done using a traditional distillation process at low temperature (max. 70°C) to protect the aromas as much as possible.
