    "The 2022 Merlot Cabernet Franc Altrovino is fermented in cement and ages in a combination of French and Slavonian oak. Showing a fleshed-out, medium-plus texture, the wine offers dark fruit, spice and earthy root. The bouquet leans into savory and dark aromas with hints of forest floor and underbrush. There is a licorice-like signature that winemaker Luca D'Attoma says often emerges in this wine."
