Morellino di Scansano DOCG 2025
Elisabetta Geppetti is more than just a winemaker – she is the "Signora del Morellino", that dynamic woman who, at the age of just 20, took the reins of the family-owned winery and helped the Maremma gain international renown. When she pressed the first Morellino in 1985, she laid the foundations for a success story that continues to this day. This wine is Le Pupille's calling card, both in terms of quantity and quality – a consistent, authentic expression of the terroir between Pereta and Magliano in Toscana.

!["Contado" Aglianico Riserva Molise DOC 2020]()
“Contado” Aglianico Riserva Molise DOC 2020
A wine that tells in every facet where it comes from – that is Contado Riserva. Made from 100% Aglianico from organically farmed slopes of the Ramitello vineyard in Molise (Contrada Camarda), it shows the potential of this robust grape variety and the special region. The soil is calcareous with clay and sand, giving the wine mineral depth and vigour. The late harvest is followed by a long maceration period, after which the wine matures for a total of around three years: partly in barriques and tonneaux, partly in stainless steel tanks, and finally with extended bottle ageing. This careful ageing philosophy gives the wine complexity, elegance and a fine power of integration in every vintage.

Poggio al Lupo brings the trendy white Vermentino variety in its sunny, Mediterranean form with clear elegance. A light, slightly golden straw yellow colour in the glass. The aroma is reminiscent of green mandarin, lemon zest, white peach and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is fresh, with animating acidity, delicate salty minerality, ripe fruit and crisp drinkability. Fruit sweetness and freshness balance each other out. “La Luna e i Falò" Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG 2023
The vines are planted where the Piedmont slopes gently at Canelli and the Barbera grape can develop its depth. The name is reminiscent of Cesare Pavese, the great son of these hills – and his most famous work "La Luna e i Falò". Like the novel, this wine also carries a quiet melancholy, paired with expression, maturity and identity. Matured in barriques and large casks for around a year, this is a Barbera full of character and at the same time modern.

!["La Villa" Barbera d'Asti DOCG 2024 (BIO)]()
“La Villa” Barbera d’Asti DOCG 2024 (BIO)
Barbera with origin and attitude: La Villa has been Olim Bauda's favourite wine for decades – not because it is particularly loud, but because it seems so natural. No barrique, no spectacle, but plenty of character. The secret lies in the balance: fruit and freshness, elegance and energy – everything is there, nothing imposes itself. Bright ruby in the glass with a youthful violet colour. The bouquet plays on the fresh side: sour cherry, raspberry, dried herbs, a hint of violet and a delicate mineral note. On the palate, the typical tension of Asti-Barbera – juicy, clearly contoured, with supple tannins and fine length. A wonderfully authentic wine that breathes the soul of Piedmont – spontaneous, lively, unaffected. If you want to understand the essence of this grape variety, this is the perfect wine for every day. The hill. A solitary, 50-metre-high ridge south of Margreid, which gives the Pinot Grigio its name and character. The soil is unusual: grey, loamy sand with a high clay content – —no porphyry, no limestone gravel—but a soft, nutrient-rich deposit that gives the Pinot Grigio a richness and freshness that poorer soils simply cannot provide. Felsina's entry-level wine made from 100% Sangiovese from the border between Chianti Classico and the Colli Senesi. The vineyard, acquired by Domenico Poggiali in 1966, is located in Castelnuovo Berardenga on diverse soils of sandstone, marl and limestone. After temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures for twelve months in medium-sized Slovenian oak barrels. Ruby red in colour with violet hues in the glass. !["Belguardo" Vermentino Maremma Toscana DOC 2025]()
“Belguardo” Vermentino Maremma Toscana DOC 2025
Belguardo – the beautiful view. The Mazzei family gave their Maremma estate this name in 1997, and it's a fitting one: from the hills between Grosseto and Montiano, the view stretches all the way to the Tyrrhenian Sea, which lies just ten kilometres away. This proximity is not merely a romantic detail – it is terroir. The sea breezes cool the vineyards every day, slowing down the ripening process and preserving the freshness that characterises the Vermentino grown on these sandy Arenaria soils.

“Borrigiano” Rosso Valdarno di Sopra DOC 2024 (BIO)
Borrigiano – named after the inhabitants of the medieval village of Il Borro – marks a special chapter in the history of the Ferragamo family. As the estate's first wine under the prestigious Valdarno di Sopra DOC, it combines the tradition of an appellation that was recognised as one of the first four Tuscan wine regions by Cosimo III de' Medici back in 1716. This elegant cuvée of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon comes from organically cultivated vineyards between 300 and 500 metres above sea level in the Valdarno Valley. The unique soil composition – characterised by sandstone, clay and fossilised marine deposits from a prehistoric lake – gives the wine its characteristic minerality. Ten months of ageing in large wooden barrels preserves the lively fruit and creates a harmonious interplay between tradition and innovation.

“Unlitro di Ampeleia” Costa Toscana IGT 2024 (BIO)
Unlitro – a name that is the programme and at the same time sums up the entire philosophy of Ampeleia. At a time when wines are becoming ever more complex, the team around Elisabetta Foradori and Giovanni Podini are focussing on the essence of winemaking: creating an honest, easy-drinking wine that expresses the beauty of the Maremma landscape without embellishment. The grapes for this special blend of Alicante Nero, Sangiovese, Carignano, Mourvèdre and Alicante Bouschet come from the organically farmed vineyards near Roccatederighi. Here, just a few kilometres from the Tyrrhenian Sea, the vines thrive on the characteristic Galestro and Alberese soils of the Maremma at an altitude of 200-400 metres. The Mediterranean climate, with its warm days and cool sea breezes, creates ideal conditions for wines with natural balance and freshness.

“Irisse” Vermentino Montecucco DOC 2024 (BIO)
The name is a tribute. Maria Iris Bertarelli – co-founder and the heart and soul of Collemassari – is the woman who, together with her brother Claudio Tipa, acquired the abandoned castle in Montecucco in 1998 and planted it with a vision: that this forgotten hilly landscape between Montalcino and Scansano had what it takes to become an appellation in its own right. Irisse is her wine. Vermentino with up to 25% Grechetto – more body, more substance. But what really sets Irisse apart from Melacce is the short maceration on the skins, followed by twelve months' ageing in large oak casks. This yields a depth one rarely expects from Vermentino.

!["Poggio Argentato" Bianco Toscana IGT 2025]()
“Poggio Argentato” Bianco Toscana IGT 2025
The Maremma is a land of red wine. Morellino di Scansano, Saffredi, great Sangiovese and Cabernet – these are the images that characterise this coastal region of southern Tuscany. Elisabetta Geppetti, who has been regarded as an ambassador for this region for decades, dared to do something different in 1997: she created a white wine using northern grape varieties – Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Manseng, Traminer, Semillon – and planting them in the south. The result is called Poggio Argentato, a white wine with – as Geppetti herself puts it – "a French accent and a Tuscan soul". The grapes come from two vineyards: Pian di Fiora near Pereta, on tuff-rich, alabaster-laden soil with a south-easterly aspect, and San Vittorio near Scansano, on clayey silt with quartz and igneous rock, open to the north-east where it catches the sea breezes. Altitude of 200 to 250 metres, 6,500 vines per hectare. The Sauvignon Blanc is aged exclusively in stainless steel. The other varieties spend a short time in second-use tonneaux. Five months on the fine lees – for texture and depth without any hint of oak.

Sardinian sun meets Mediterranean breeze – samas feels like a glass of holiday under olive trees by the sea. The fruit is grown on sandy, chalky soils in the sunny south-west of Sardinia and was harvested in the cool morning hours to preserve freshness and flavour. The grape variety blend of 80% Vermentino and 20% Chardonnay is perfectly selected. After cool fermentation and around 40 days on the fine lees in the tank, the wine matures for a few months in stainless steel tanks – elegant, clear and yet complex. Sunny yellow in the glass, almost like a ray of light caught in the glass. The nose offers aromas of grapefruit and lime, exotic fruits such as pineapple, Mediterranean herbs – especially sage – and a delicate, fresh minerality. On the palate, it is velvety, yet clearly contoured and full of energy: juicy, slightly salty and with a vibrant freshness that immediately whets the appetite for the next sip. SUPERIORE.DE

Berg. The name gives away its origins. The higher elevations in the Adige Valley, on the right bank of the Adige, on soils of porphyry and limestone, which give the Pinot Bianco its mineral freshness and structure. The alpine climate, with mild summer months and cool autumns, slows down the ripening process – the harvest takes place in mid-October, considerably later than for comparable white wines. This patience pays off. In 1932, the winegrowers of Nals and Margreid founded their co-operative on a simple principle: better together than alone. This principle still applies today – to 140 member estates, which supply their grapes with the same care as they did back then.

!["Kalk" Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC 2025]()
“Kalk” Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC 2025
Margreid is situated in the southern Unterland, where the Adige widens and the climate becomes more Mediterranean. The Ora, the warm afternoon breeze from Lake Garda, sweeps through the vineyards every day, bringing with it the warmth that makes the Chardonnay from these vineyards so full-bodied and aromatic. The soil is the opposite of barren: brooding, white limestone gravel with a high humus content – nutrient-rich, water-retaining, and possessing a minerality that gives the wine its name. Limestone. No further description is needed. Nals Margreid cultivates the Kalk Chardonnay on gently sloping vineyards in Margreid at altitudes of 220 to 350 metres.

![Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2024 (BIO)]()
Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2024 (BIO)
100% Sangiovese Grosso from the argilloso-sandy soils of the estate, interspersed with fossils, marl and limestone – the foundation on which the Brunello vines of Camigliano also stand. After 10 to 15 days of maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures for six months in large French and Slavonian oak barrels, followed by six months of rest in the bottle. The 2024 vintage benefited from a cool, rainy September, which gave the Sangiovese the necessary time for slow, complete phenolic maturation after a hot summer – the result is wines of unusual freshness and fine contours.

![Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2024]()
Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2024
The Rosso di Montalcino from Caparzo embodies the philosophy of a house that has been one of the pioneers of modern Montalcino since 1970. Under the visionary leadership of Elisabetta Gnudi Angelini, wines are created here that perfectly express the terroir understanding of the various micro-locations. This Rosso is far more than just the "little brother" of the legendary Brunello – it is a wine of character in its own right, combining the youthful freshness of the Sangiovese grape with the complexity of different vineyards. The grapes come from three strategically selected vineyards that cover the entire spectrum of the Caparzo terroirs: In the north, the Caparzo site at an altitude of 220 metres, in the south Il Cassero at 270 metres and in the east San Piero-Caselle at 250 metres. This diversity of locations – from the warmer, early-ripening sites to the higher, cooler terroirs – enables the cellar team to create the optimum blend depending on the character of the vintage.

!["Barco Reale" Rosso di Carmignano DOC 2023 (BIO)]()
“Barco Reale” Rosso di Carmignano DOC 2023 (BIO)
The name tells a story: Barco Reale means "royal enclosure" and refers to the historic Medici hunting reserve, which was established in 1626 – a ring of walls over 50 kilometres long surrounded the area where Sangiovese, Cabernet and Canaiolo thrive today. Barco Reale Rosso is the younger, more accessible version of Carmignano DOCG, was awarded its own DOC status in 1994 and epitomises the elegance of this small but important Tuscan appellation. Tenuta di Capezzana has been run by the Contini Bonacossi family for five generations and represents over seventy per cent of the entire Carmignano production. The first documented mention of Capezzana dates back to 804, and as early as the 16th century, Caterina de' Medici had Cabernet cuttings brought to Carmignano from Bordeaux – centuries before the Super Tuscans discovered this idea for themselves. The winery has been certified organic since 2009.
