Clear ruby colour with lively reflections. Botti comes predominantly from the estate's own Bricco Botti parcel in Dogliani: south to south-west facing slopes, limestone-clay soils – a terroir that gives Nebbiolo tension and fine minerality. Red berries with raspberry and cherry on the nose, plus blueberry, violet and a hint of spice. Straightforward and elegant on the palate, with juicy fruit, fine-grained, round tannins and lively, clear acidity. Finely spicy and precise on the finish, with a cool, mineral flavour.
