The Valfieri Winery - almost in secret, one might think - is once again taking up the successful 60s. The winery was founded in 1961 by Rosangels Clerici Riccadonna in the wine town of Alba. Later, the company headquarters were moved to Costigliole d´Asti in the heart of the Monferrato wine-growing region.
The youngest generation of the Clerici family is dedicated to a new quality production, with the young and promising oenologist Luca Caramellino. Despite the increasing internationalisation also in Piedmont, Valfieri produces the classic wines of Monferrato and Langhe. A careful selection of the grape material and a clean processing of these, bring maximum quality. Thus each product is a "Grand Cru" of Piedmont.
