![Moscato d'Asti DOCG 2025]()
Moscato d’Asti DOCG 2025
Four denominazioni in one municipality: in Treiso, the heartland of Barbaresco, this is no exaggeration. Giorgio Pelissero, third generation, followed the fourth call in 2008: Moscato. His vines stand in the Munfrina vineyard, Sottozona Ferrere, at 350 metres, south-west exposed, in soils with red sand veins – planted between 1981 and 1998, the cellar is characterised by speed: manual harvesting in small boxes, destemming, cold pressing – hours, not days, separate grapes and must. Foaming in pressurised tanks, bottling under pressure.

Nebbiolo Langhe DOC 2022
The grapes come from young Nebbiolo plots in Treiso, Neive and Barbaresco (200-400 metres, south to west exposure) – deliberately harvested for freshness and precision. Clear ruby colour with lively reflections. Fragrant notes of raspberry, cherry and strawberry on the nose, along with violets, a hint of orange zest and subtle spice. Straightforward and juicy on the palate: fine, ripe tannins, lively acidity and a cool, mineral vein that gives the clear fruit contour. !["Tulin" Barbera d'Alba DOC 2021]()
“Tulin” Barbera d’Alba DOC 2021
At Pelissero, "Tulin" not only stands for a vineyard, but also for a claim. The extremely rare Barbera from this parcel is not a by-product of the Nebbiolo-heavy winery, but an independent, uncompromisingly sophisticated interpretation of the Barbera grape variety. In a year like 2021, which united structure, freshness and concentration in a rare balance, this wine reaches a level that sets it apart from the crowd - and clearly places it in the rank of an exceptional wine. The vines grow on calcareous marl with blue clay - a constellation that combines maturity with tension. The yields are low, the selection strict. Tulin is matured for around 18 months in French barriques, with the necessary time and care to get the best out of the grape variety - not more fruit, not more wood, but more depth and complexity.

![Barbaresco "Nubiola" DOCG 2021]()
Barbaresco “Nubiola” DOCG 2021
Nubiola is a Barbaresco with inner tension: differentiated, unagitated, but with a clear character. The name refers to historical roots: Vitis Nubiola was the name given to Nebbiolo in the 13th century. Pelissero has revived this term – not out of sentimentality, but because it suits the style of the wine: Complexity instead of posturing, depth instead of effect. The grapes come from various plots around Treiso, on soils of calcareous marl with a fine clay content. The sites complement each other – altitude, exposure, microclimate – to create a complex but harmonious overall picture. The wine is fermented with natural yeast and matured for 18 months in large barrels and tonneaux, all with deliberate restraint so that the structure and origin remain visible.

Barbaresco “Tulin” DOCG 2019
The Barbaresco Tulin is a convincing middle ground in Giorgio Pelissero's range. It has the richness normally found in his wines, but also a good dose of freshness. ![Barbaresco "Tulin" DOCG 2021]()
Barbaresco “Tulin” DOCG 2021
Tulin is a wine that looks in two directions – on the one hand deeply rooted in the single vineyard of the same name directly below the winery in Treiso, and on the other hand an expression of a modern, consciously contoured interpretation of Barbaresco. The wine comes from a south and south-west facing steep slope on calcareous marl soil, interspersed with layers of blue clay – a terroir that produces structure, precision and clarity. In the great Pelissero canon, Tulin stands for finesse with a backbone. The vines are over 50 years old and produce concentrated, but never exuberant harvest. The wine is matured for around 20 months in tonneaux and large barrels – not for effect, but for balance. Vinification is carried out with open mash fermentation and a great deal of patience in the cellar; the use of wood is deliberately minimised.

Barbaresco “Vanotu” DOCG 2019
2019 was a gift to Nebbiolo in the Barbaresco DOCG - and Vanotu has accepted it. This Barbaresco from the historic Basarin cru vineyard in Neive bears the signature of a great vintage with quiet naturalness: nothing is overdrawn, nothing loud - everything is in its place with quiet precision. The vines stand on sparse limestone marl, interspersed with sandy veins, with optimal south-west exposure. This site produces wines with depth and tension, but also airiness - a play of power and transparency that is exemplified in Vanotu 2019. Vanotu is the great single-vineyard Barbaresco of the house – a wine with origin at its core and concentration in its expression. The grapes come from the historic Basarin vineyard in Neive, a cru parcel with south-west exposure and steep limestone marl soils, which not only give the Nebbiolo depth, but also structure and vertical tension. The Pelissero winery, now in its third generation, is nestled in the hills of the Langhe and surrounded by the medieval tower of Barbaresco and Château Guarene.
In the course of time, the company, founded by Luigi Pelissero and managed since 1987 by his son Giorgio, a trained oenologist, has become more and more important in the wine world.
Originally, the family had only grown grapes in Piedmont in order to sell them later. Luigi first pressed and bottled the first bottles. The heritage was later improved by Giorgio, with the help of his sister Cristina, through constant research in the vineyards and cellars to ensure the same high quality of the wines every year.
The 40 hectares of vineyards represent about 85 percent of the autochthonous varieties Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. They make up the great charm of the region. The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Neive, Barbaresco and Treiso. Thanks to the extensive areas, the best berries can always be selected from the grapes. As far as his traditional wine style is concerned, Giorgio has clear ideas. Besides a very high drinkability purity and taste elegance are the preferred characteristics, writes the Gambero Rosso. The family also succeeds again and again in transferring the profile of each individual vineyard to the corresponding label and in clearly highlighting the character of each grape variety.
The spirited and aging wines of the Azienda Agricola Pelissero can be very appealing even at a young age. They are aged in wooden barrels of different sizes and often new ones. The wine range extends from the very inexpensive Barbera d'Alba to the exclusive and therefore much more expensive Barbaresco Vanotu from Basarin di Neive. By the way, the model wine bears the nickname of Cristinas and Giorgio's grandfather. He has already been awarded several times by the Gambero Rossowith three glasses. SUPERIORE.DE
"Giorgio's dynamic management style has had a decisive impact on the company and proves its above-average capabilities even in difficult years with highly competitive markets ... Stylistically he focuses on character and personality."Gambero Rosso
