Pajé ist ein kleiner Weinberg in der Nähe des Dorfes Barbaresco, dessen kalkhaltige Böden in der Regel helle und blumige Weine hervorbringen und dieser Wein erfüllt diese Erwartung auf eindrucksvolle Weise, verbunden mit einer schon heute beachtlichen Dichte, die er erst allmählich zu erkennen gibt. In der Nase zeigt er Intensität und Reinheit, mit durchdringenden Aromen von roten Früchten. Im Auftakt ist er geschmeidig, leuchtend, aber gewichtig und sehr fokussiert.
