Since the 2011 vintage, the Riserva Marchese Antinori has been produced entirely from grapes grown at Tenuta Tignanello. This has led to a reduction in production volume and a further leap in quality. A sparkling ruby colour; the bouquet reveals dark wild cherries, graphite, violets and spices. Smooth and round on the palate, yet very juicy; the French oak adds extra volume and body. SUPERIORE.DE

Dried red fruits, accompanied by floral notes such as jasmine blossom and rose petals, as well as black smoked tea; with aeration, notes of black cherry also emerge. On the palate, it is full-bodied with red fruit, tea leaves once again, and a hint of bitter almond. The tannins are present but well-integrated, with acidity that underpins the body and lends it strength. It has bite and plenty of class." Vinum
