Is Solinas is the pinnacle of Sardinian authenticity. A cuvee that carries the essence of the island: 90% Cannonau, supported by Carignano and Bovale Sardo, all grown on the limestone and clay-rich terraces of the Sulcis. The grapes ripen under the sun and salty breeze before being processed in a classic yet unobtrusive manner. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation in cement-lined vats, followed by around one year of ageing in French barriques – a balance of freshness, structure and lasting elegance.

A deep purple-red colour with a violet core in the glass. The nose is inviting with dense, ripe fruit: Blackberry, black cherry, complemented by Mediterranean herbs, liquorice and warm spicy notes such as cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is powerful and supple at the same time: fine-grained tannins, lively acidity and sunny fruit combine in a clear, grounded structure. The finish is long, spicy and remains mineral in colour – a powerful but never dominant performance.
