The Ravera vineyard in Novello is considered one of the coolest and structurally most demanding crus in the Barolo zone – a terroir of calcareous marl with fine layers of sand, which gives the wines precision, firm tannins and exceptional longevity. Bricco Pernice originates from a parcel on the upper slope, perfectly exposed to the south-west, where the vines ripen evenly under a gentle breeze. 2018 was a moderate year with a balanced growing season and a long ripening phase, which gave the Nebbiolo elegance and aromatic depth.

Rich garnet red in the glass. The bouquet reveals a classic Ravera signature: cool red berries, pomegranate, delicate rose petals and a hint of violets, underpinned by tobacco leaf, liquorice and a fine herbal spice. Sinewy and precise on the palate, carried by ripe, tightly woven tannins and a pithy but pure acidity. The long, mineral-accented finish shows the signature of the soil and makes it clear that this wine will grow for decades.
