Giovanni and Gianlorenzo Neri noticed brown stems and fragrant aromas, and these characteristics inspired them to use the stems. Aromas of cherries and red fruits are followed by pepper, wild spices, sweet earth and dusty pencil shavings. There are hints of saddle leather on the one hand and crushed rosemary on the other.
