This rare Riserva comes from the Garofoli family's historic vineyards in Montecarotto – a selection of the purest Verdicchio grapes from the classic hills of the Castelli di Jesi. For five generations, the family has been cultivating the noble Verdicchio grape on these medium-textured loamy soils with sandy and calcareous inclusions. The lowest yields per hectare and the latest possible hand-harvesting guarantee the highest concentration for this top-quality wine.

In the glass, Serra Fiorese initially appears rather reserved, with delicate hints of yellow flowers, peach skin and a touch of spice. On the palate, however, it is full-bodied, with rich notes of peach and nectarine accompanied by zesty citrus fruits. It leaves a lingering finish full of intrigue and leaves you wanting more, with its salty minerality and a hint of baked apple that lingers for a long time. The Serra Fiorese, produced in small batches, is a Verdicchio fermented and matured in oak barrels, it needs a little time to reveal its undisputed greatness, but once it does, it is magnificent!
