It is from here – mostly from the higher-altitude vineyards – that some of the finest examples of their kind come: complex, mineral, fresh and long-lasting.

Bright straw yellow with green highlights. On the nose, an intense aroma of meadow flowers and white stone fruit. On the palate, a beautifully balanced acidity, mineral-driven and with delicate citrus notes, finishing with a salty note. Aelya is the Garofoli estate's take on Matelica – combining tropical hints with the austere minerality so characteristic of the region. Superb, and certainly not just because of its attractive price.
