In Campo Rotaliano, this geological treasure chest between the peaks of the Dolomites, Elisabetta Foradori has been rewriting Teroldego history for four decades. What began as a family wine in 1960 is now the epitome of autochthonous excellence. The grapes come from twelve hand-picked plots on nine hectares, with their roots in alluvial sand and dolomite limestone. Fifteen different Teroldego biotypes, developed through years of mass selection, reflect the diversity of this unique terroir. Biodynamic Demeter cultivation since 2002 allows the indigenous grape variety to develop its original identity. Spontaneous fermentation in cement tanks, partly with whole grapes, preserves the lively fruitiness. Twelve months of ageing in a combination of cement and oak give the wine structure without dominance.

Dense ruby red in the glass with violet reflections. The nose reveals intense aromas of sour cherries and wild forest berries, interspersed with the scent of violets and fine herbal notes. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and juicy, with silky tannins and lively acidity. Notes of dark berries merge with a hint of thyme and mineral freshness. The final is elegant and persistent, characterised by fruity purity and alpine spice. A benchmark for Teroldego for many years and a perfect ambassador for an entire region. SUPERIORE.DE
