"The Rosso is a blend of Nebbiolo supported by other local grapes such as Barbera, Dolcetto and Freisa. It shows a light appearance with luminous ruby highlights. This is a lovely wine from a difficult vintage that forced vintners to redirect grapes from top wines to entry-level ones like this because yields were severely reduced by mildew pressure and other growing-season challenges. The wine offers bright primary fruit with cassis, red rose petal and tart cherry. It's a delicious everyday wine that I highly recommend, especially at this affordable price. The wine functions as a kind of "house red" for the estate—a blend designed to express the broader Langhe landscape rather than a single grape or cru." Wine Advocate
