!["Rosy" Rosato Langhe DOC 2025]()
“Rosy” Rosato Langhe DOC 2025
A Rosato with a name that has a person behind it. Rosy Pio was the granddaughter of the founder – and the grandmother of Federica and Cesare, the fifth generation of the house. The Pio Cesare family carries its history in its wines. This one bears it in its name. The decision to vinify Nebbiolo as a rosé was a matter of the heart: a small addition of Syrah, their own vineyards in Treiso in the Barbaresco region, various exposures and locations. Early harvest in small crates after strict selection in the vineyard, gentle pressing with short maceration. Fermentation partly in stainless steel, partly in non-new French oak barriques. One month on the lees.

!["Vette di San Leonardo" Sauvignon Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2025]()
“Vette di San Leonardo” Sauvignon Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2025
Tenuta San Leonardo is a name that stands for red wine. For generations, the Guerrieri Gonzaga family in Avio, in southern Trentino, has been cultivating a Bordeaux blend that is considered by connoisseurs to be among the best wines in Italy. The fact that the house also makes white wine (and rosato) – and with the same precision – far fewer people know. Vette di San Leonardo owes its name to the peaks that surround the vineyards. Vette – summits, peaks – is the image San Leonardo has chosen for this Sauvignon Blanc: high, clear, unmistakable. The grapes come from Roveré della Luna, a village on the border between Trentino and Alto Adige, which is one of the best Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in northern Italy. The Dolomites as a backdrop, cool nights, a long ripening process on the vine. Hand-picked in September. Only steel, no wood. Five months sur lie on the fine lees – for texture and depth without external ageing.

Vermentino di Toscana IGT 2025 (BIO)
The Rivetti family, who have long since achieved fame with La Spinetta in Piedmont, found their Tuscan terroir for Vermentino in Terricciola. Sandy soils of marine origin, interspersed with oceanic sediments, characterise this white wine with its unmistakable minerality and salty freshness. The vines grow at an altitude of 250 metres on a south-easterly exposure and are cultivated organically. After manual harvesting, the must ferments spontaneously with natural yeasts, after which the wine rests for three to four months on the fine lees in stainless steel.

!["Tradition" Lagrein Rosé Alto Adige DOC 2025]()
“Tradition” Lagrein Rosé Alto Adige DOC 2025
Kretzer – that sounds rougher than the wine is. The old South Tyrolean word for rosé, once derived from the tart freshness of unripe berries, now has a completely different character: fruity, lively, with the unmistakable temperament of Lagrein. Because Lagrein is pure South Tyrol – an indigenous grape variety that has been at home between Bolzano and Terlano for centuries. As a rosé wine, it shows a side that the strong red wine does not always reveal: Lightness, freshness, accessibility. The grapes grow at an altitude of 250 to 280 metres in the flat, sunny vineyards around Terlan. Hand-picked, gentle pressing of the whole bunches, slow fermentation in steel – 6 to 7 months on the fine lees.

!["Rosamati" Rosato Maremma Toscana DOC 2025]()
“Rosamati” Rosato Maremma Toscana DOC 2025
Elisabetta Geppetti has dedicated this rosato to a woman who came before her: Rosa Mati – the first in the family to believe in the Maremma when others were still looking the other way. A woman who invested when this wild coastal landscape in south-west Tuscany was not yet a wine region in the modern sense. This belief was the beginning of everything that Le Pupille is today. And the wine that bears her name is Elisabetta Geppetti's most personal work – unchanged in its conviction since the first vintage in 2002: 100 per cent Syrah, as a rosé. This is not an obvious choice. Syrah is known in Maremma primarily as a powerful red wine. To press it as a rosé – transparent, fresh, elegant – requires precision.

“Rosa Mara” Rosato Valtènesi DOC 2025
Rosa Mara is undoubtedly one of the favourite wines of Mattia Vezzola, who is dedicated to reinterpreting a historic vinification method that has been practised in this region since the 18th century. This Chiaretto is produced using the traditional "a lacrima" method, in which the grapes are pressed gently and carefully so that they begin to "cry". To achieve the perfect colour, the tone of the rosato is constantly monitored during production. Speaking of perfect: with this wine, Mattia proves how masterfully he has mastered this process and brought it to absolute perfection.

“L’Altro” Chardonnay Langhe DOC 2025
L'Altro is one of the house classics. A Langhe Chardonnay full of character that combines the clarity of the stainless steel, the fine spiciness of the wood and the subtle depth of the lees in a very charming way. The grapes come from higher-lying parcels around Treiso, Serralunga d'Alba and Trezzo Tinella; harvested cool and vinified parcel by parcel. Around three quarters are fermented in stainless steel, the smaller part in French barriques; the wine then remains on the fine lees for several months – regularly stirred for more texture and complexity.

!["També" Rosato Isola dei Nuraghi IGT 2025]()
“També" Rosato Isola dei Nuraghi IGT 2025
In the Gallurese dialect of northern Sardinia, "també" means something like "that's the way it is" – a straightforward statement, a kind of silent shrug of the shoulders of the island that says it all. The brothers Fabrizio and Mario Ragnedda have given this expression to a wine that is perfectly suited to it: natural, direct, without the need for explanation. Capichera, founded in the 1970s in Arzachena, in the heart of Gallura, has shaped the history of quality Vermentino in Sardinia like no other winery. On the granite soils of the north, the land of nuraghi and maquis, the brothers built up a philosophy that still applies today: rigorous vineyard work, respect for the terroir, no compromise on quality.

“Claré" Nebbiolo Langhe DOC 2025
In 1787, Thomas Jefferson described Nebbiolo as fresh, slightly sparkling and smooth. Gian Battista Croce, court goldsmith at Casa Savoia in Turin, noted exactly the same thing back in 1606. Giuseppe Vajra came across these protocols during historical research – and understood immediately: Nebbiolo was not always the way it is drunk today. There was a time before long maceration, before large barrels, before Barolo. Claré J.C. – "J.C." stands for Juliette Colbert, the woman who revolutionised the vinification of Barolo in the 19th century – is a time capsule there. 100% Nebbiolo from young vineyards on both Langhe soils: Tortonian and Serravallian. Capalbio – this is the southernmost end of the Tuscan coast, where the Maremma is wilder and more unspoilt than anywhere else, with views of Monte Argentario and the Burano lagoon. This is where Monteverro is located: a biodynamically farmed estate that Georg and Barbara Weber awoke from its slumber around two decades ago. Vermentino is the white soul of this place – fresh, fruity, light-hearted, with the fine minerality of clay and limestone soil. 100% Vermentino, harvested by hand from 5,555 vines per hectare with a north-south orientation. Whole-cluster pressing, no malolactic fermentation – because this is about freshness, not fullness. Six months on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks. Riesling Trentino DOC 2025
Riesling (Riesing renano, not Riesling italico) is regarded as the soul of Northern Europe – moselle, Rhine, Alsace. The fact that it finds a completely unique voice in the hills of Trentino is down to two men who started out in Faedo in 1975, and two soils that could hardly be more different. In Cembra, Maso Besleri, Località Val Bona, the vines grow on volcanic porphyry – —dark, grainy, rich in rounded pebbles. The slopes have a gradient of up to 50 per cent: heroic in every respect, Guyot training, 6,000 vines per hectare. In Faedo, Località Palai, the soil is the exact opposite: limestone and dolomite of marine origin, sedimentary, light in colour and providing structure.

"Cru di Cures" Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva Sabina DOP 2025 from Lazio is an olive oil of remarkable balance, clear in expression and with a fine, cultivated personality. Green, herbaceous and mildly fruity, it develops an elegant flavour reminiscent of fresh herbs, young leaves and the quiet spiciness of Sabina's olive groves. With grilled vegetables, pulses or simply on bruschetta, it shows all its class - an oil with origin, depth and that natural noblesse that makes great simplicity so rare. SUPERIORE.DE

![Pinot Nero Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2025]()
Pinot Nero Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2025
700 metres. That is the altitude at which one of Pojer e Sandri’s two Pinot Noir vineyards is situated – in Palai, south-facing, on local limestone soil, swept by the Ora del Garda. For Pinot Nero in Trentino, this is exceptionally high. Long, cool nights, marked temperature fluctuations, and a slow ripening process that gives the grape variety exactly the time it needs to develop elegance and freshness. The second vineyard is in Faedo itself, in Località Rocol, at 300 metres – lower, warmer, and more full-bodied. Together, these two sites produce a Pinot Nero that fully embodies Faedo. Since 2002, the winery has been using a proprietary, patented process: Iperriduzione – the entire processing of the grapes takes place without oxygen, exclusively in stainless steel tanks. No external intervention – the grape’s natural protective compounds do the work. Fresh, clear, consistent.

“Alèxandros” Greco di Tufo DOCG 2025
This characterful Greco di Tufo comes from high-altitude plots around Lapio, where Clelia Romano works meticulously and skilfully on volcanic-calcareous soils. Alèxandros is matured in stainless steel tanks in order to bring the varietal typicity and mineral character of the terroir unadulterated into the glass. The typical salinity of Greco is elegantly emphasised here. A purist, serious white wine with depth of origin and a clear signature – typical Colli di Lapio, typical Lapio.

![Traminer aromatico Trentino DOC 2025]()
Traminer aromatico Trentino DOC 2025
In 1975, Mario Pojer and Fiorentino Sandri purchased two hectares of vineyards in Faedo, a hill situated between the Adige Valley and the Val di Cembra. Many were sceptical: Faedo was considered unsuitable for quality winegrowing. The pair remained undeterred. Today, Faedo is one of Trentino’s most sought-after wine-growing sites – and Pojer e Sandri is one of Italy’s most innovative wineries. The Traminer is grown on two sites: Faedo, Località Coveli, at 300 metres, south-west facing, on porphyritic-volcanic soil with sandy layers of dark, gravel-rich rock. And Cembra, Località Valbona, at 450 metres – cooler, providing structure. The Ora del Garda, the daily wind from Lake Garda, ventilates the vineyards and keeps the aromas fresh. Gewürztraminer from Alsatian clones, Pergoletta Trentina Aperta and Guyot, 6,000 to 6,500 vines per hectare. Vinification follows a principle developed in-house: grape washing and pressing in a controlled atmosphere – without any exogenous antioxidants. The grape variety speaks for itself; nothing masks it.

!["Kleinstein" Gewürztraminer Alto Adige DOC 2025]()
“Kleinstein” Gewürztraminer Alto Adige DOC 2025
High above Bolzano, where the steep porphyry slopes of the Ritten rise 650 metres into the Alpine air, one of South Tyrol’s most distinctive Gewürztraminers thrives. Kleinstein is the result of uncompromising selection: Cellar master Stephan Filippi selects grapes exclusively from those vineyards where the volcanic terroir and the extreme day-night temperature fluctuations draw out the full aromatic power of this regal grape variety. These privileged plots on the Ritten tell a geological story: Ancient volcanic rock and mineral-rich weathered soils create a terroir of rare intensity. Here, the Gewürztraminer grapes ripen under the South Tyrolean sun, whilst cool mountain breezes provide the freshness that gives this premium wine its impressive balance.

!["Occhione" Vermentino Toscana IGT 2025]()
“Occhione” Vermentino Toscana IGT 2025
The curlew is a shy bird of the dunes and sandbanks of Marina di Bibbona – sand-coloured, almost invisible, with large yellow eyes. Niccolò Marzichi Lenzi has dedicated the only white wine from Tenuta Campo di Sasso to it: inconspicuous at first glance, but very distinctive at second glance. 100% Vermentino from sandy, gravelly soils at an altitude of 50 metres – close enough to the coast for the sea breezes to sweep over the vines every day. Hand-picked in the cool morning hours, fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, 30 days of fine lees with daily bâtonnage, a further two months in steel.
