If Montosoli is the great Montalcino cru in the north, then the Sesta area between Castelnuovo dell'Abate and Sant'Angelo in Colle is its southern counterpart. This is where the Lisini vineyards are located.

Deep ruby red with orange-coloured reflections. Complex, intensely spicy aromas, dark wild berries, notes of tobacco, pepper and leather in the clear bouquet, complex and well-balanced flavour through to the pleasantly warm finish. "Due to the reduced quantities in 2019, the Lisini family decided to sacrifice their Ugolaia bottling to strengthen the Riserva. This is an impressive example from the mild Sesta zone in the south-east of Montalcino. The aroma of myrtle and pine surrounds dark cherries and black raspberries. On the palate, iron and chestnuts intertwine with the lush and exotic red fruits. Equally lush tannins provide a generous sandy embrace.
