Restrained but very noble aromas of preserved red berries, with a hint of coffee beans, leaves and dried herbs. This strikes me as a slightly easier-drinking version of Biondi-Santi's Brunello Riserva, but as always, it improves greatly with aeration, so decant it at least six hours in advance for maximum enjoyment."
