Rare, exceptional Merlot from the west of Tuscany: deep ruby red with violet reflections. The bouquet is multi-layered with hints of wild berries and blackberries, ripe cherries, but also liquorice and tobacco notes. Very structured and lively on the palate. "In 2022, there were six separate harvests for the Redigaffi, as it rained a lot and a strict selection was necessary in such a hot year. Textured and silky, bright and salty, it opens with some intense potpourri overtones and black and blue berries. In the mouth it is more red and blue fruits, savoury and juicy, underlined by wood, coffee bean and petroleum scents. Perfumed notes of lavender and violet hover over the palate. It is very youthful and should rest in the bottle for some time before opening to show its best side." Decanter
