A rare, exceptional Merlot from western Tuscany: a deep ruby red with violet highlights. The bouquet is complex, with hints of wild berries and blackberries, ripe cherries, as well as notes of liquorice and tobacco. Very well-structured yet lively on the palate. "In 2022, there were six separate harvests for the Redigaffi, as there was a great deal of rain and, in such a hot year, strict selection was necessary. Textured and silky, light and salty, it opens with some intense potpourri overtones and black and blue berries. On the palate, the focus is more on red and blue fruits, flavourful and juicy, underpinned by wood, coffee beans and a hint of petrol. Fragrant notes of lavender and violets waft across the palate.
