Marco Ricasoli Firidolfi's limited edition creation (only 1,659 magnum bottles were filled) was named after Ridolfo, an ancestor of the family. The deliberate blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Pugnitello symbolises the combination of tradition and modernity and at the same time impressively represents the terroir of the Chianti hills.

Lively and finely moulded, the 2018 Ridolfo impresses from the very first sip. Over time, a range of spicy flavours such as lavender, spices, liquorice and mocha unfold in the glass. Later, sweet rose petals and cinnamon emerge, lending the wine brightness and vigour. The somewhat unusual combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pugnitello works remarkably well.
