Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico DOCG 2017 (BIO)
Deep, bright ruby red. Stunning aromas of floral dark berries, flint and attractive aromatic spices. Then fresh and juicy, but with a creeping concentration of blue and black fruit flavours lifted by a zesty minerality and lively, harmonious acidity. The spicy, long finish is reminiscent of cloves, black pepper and coriander. A great wine and we know now at the latest: The Catania family has a real knack for Cerasuolo di Vittoria. SUPERIORE.DE
"Rich, dark ruby red. In the nose rich cherries, ripe raspberries, then earthy tones, noble mushrooms. Supple and gentle on the palate, opens on fresh raspberry syrup, salty, spans a beautiful arc, promising." Falstaff
"Fruity and fun, with ripe raspberries and hints of toasted marshmallow, nuts and orange peel. Medium-bodied, with a light grip and a tangy, fruity finish." James Suckling
"Deep ruby red. Intense violet/black cherry on the very perfumed nose. Dense and juicy, with aromas of ripe black cherries and candied violets accompanied by flint and aromatic spices. The finish is long with building tannins and a strong floral note coming from the frappato. An excellent Cerasuolo di Vittoria." Vinous

“u Baccan” Pigato Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC 2020
The Pigato grape has great ageing and maturation potential, especially in Liguria. U Baccan (Ligurian: the head) comes mostly from vines of the Russeghine vineyard, which are over 50 years old, produce a very low yield, and give it tremendous complexity.
Intense straw yellow with bright golden-green reflections. Impressive purity on the nose with beguiling hints of sage, thyme, peach, mango, cedar bark, acacia honey and silica. Enveloping, balsamic and mineral on the palate, then a hint of salty almond and candied citrus on the long, vibrant final. A Pigato in a class of its own in finest Riserva quality. SUPERIORE.DE

“ALTROVINO” Rosso Costa Toscana IGP 2019 (BIO)
Altrovino is a fine blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Intense, rich ruby red. Opulent scent of black fruits, leather and tobacco. Graceful and very charming on the palate, multi-layered in aromas, velvety and long. Already a harmonious pleasure, this wine will have a continuous career. SUPERIORE.DE
"Rich ruby with a dark core and garnet rims. Finely spicy on the nose, with notes of black currant, wild berries, some mint, some dark chocolate in the finish. Supple on the palate, still quite young, firm tannin, juicy and with lots of grip, long finish with a slightly salty final." Falstaff
"The 2019 Altrovino, Duemani's Merlot/Cabernet Franc blend, is very beautiful. It offers a striking combination of floral aromatics. All the elements are so well-balanced. Dark cherry, plum, mocha dried flowers and herbs build into the fine, delineated finish. This is beautifully done." Vinous
"A finely crafted and beautiful red with blackberry, tobacco and currant aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with very fine tannins and a pretty finish." James Suckling
"The bouquet delivers some minty tones and eucalyptus essence on top of dark cherry and blackberry. There is a lot of concentration and fruit weight in this bottle, with a blast of pretty freshness on the close." Wine Advocate

“Bianco di Riecine” Toscana IGT 2021 (BIO)
The grapes for this exciting, mash-fermented Trebbiano come from the vineyards that the Dunkleys (former owners of the winery) found when they arrived in Gaiole in Chianti. They are destemmed and fermented in Cocciopesto amphorae. Once fermentation is complete, most of the wine remains on the skins for six months, while a small portion (10-15%) is aged without skins for the same amount of time in new Liters tonneaux. Rich orange-yellow. In the slightly reductive bouquet notes of stewed apple, citrus and pear. Very fruity on the palate, with a striking acidity and a beautiful tannin. Medium-bodied and long, very exciting and drinky! SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2021 Bianco di Riecine is aged in amphorae. The 2021 is rich and phenolic, with an abundance of orange peel and hazelnuts. Dried herbs and chamomile complete the layers in this dense, phenolic white wine. It is a wine to be enjoyed on its own merits, as it is not intended to express any regional or varietal character." Vinous
"Sparkling straw yellow with greenish reflections. In the nose nobly restrained, stony, some citrus fruit as well as a hint of white peach. On the palate also lemony, straightforward and fresh, salty, refreshing acidity, medium-long, salty final." Falstaff
"A Trebbiano with skin contact, dried apples and lemon peel, walnuts and a touch of flor. It is full but not heavy, with an agile and crisp character. A hint of beeswax with dried fruit." James Suckling

“Eneo” Rosso Toscana IGT 2019
Eneo is supposed to be the "Grand Vin" of Montepesolo, the Italian answer to the globalisation of wines. And Eneo can do that. The blend of indigenous grape varieties, with Sangiovese and Montepulciano clearly in the foreground, unmistakably expresses its terroir and is understood worldwide in the process. SUPERIORE.DE
"Blackcurrant and cherry aromas with fresh flowers and orange peel follow through to a medium to full body with ultra-fine tannins that are integrated beautifully in the wine, leaving a bright, focused impression." James Suckling
"The 2019 Eneo is a wine of notable focus and drive. Black cherry, leather, tobacco, incense, smoke, dried herbs and gravel infuse the 2019 with striking layers of complexity. Firm but well-integrated tannins give the wine energy as well as proportion. There's a ton to like, but readers need to be patient, as the 2019 needs time to soften. This is an especially dark, at times somber, vintage of Eneo." Vinous

“Linticlarus” Pinot Nero Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2018
Ruby red Pinot Noir with garnet red shimmer. Fine fruity bouquet of wild berries and cherries. An elegant red, well-proportioned and never overloaded, but with a clear identity and elegant character. SUPERIORE.DE
"Rich sparkling ruby red with black-red accents. Pronounced aroma of heart cherries and ripe wild berries, a hint of white pepper and mocha on the nose. Taut and juicy, well-integrated tannin, balanced use of wood, ripe nuances, coherent, lively finish." Falstaff
"I love the interplay of delicately smoky oak and black cherry on the nose of this Sub-Alpine pinot noir. With some aeration, a freshly sliced red-beet note develops. Although the gentle tannins are slightly sappy, this fits very well with the medium-bodied, lively palate. Quite a dry, crisp finish that needs some time to harmonize further." James Suckling
"The Tiefenbrunner 2018 Alto Adige Pinot Noir Riserva Linticlarus is a beautiful wine with a bit of spice and dried fruit, iron ore and blue flower, all woven together with a tight and seamless stitch. The wine plays forward over the palate with increasing intensity and balance. This is an elegant wine, and it's impossible not to be excited by these quality results with Pinot Noir from the far north of Italy. This expression concludes with length and a freshness that can be counted in minutes." Wine Advocate

“Revei” Pinot Nero Valle d’Aosta DOP 2019
Pinot Nero Revei, which means clock in the local dialect, is linked to the history of the medieval tower that dominates the vineyard in Aymavilles. The tower was once home to a reclusive clockmaker, whose profession brought back the theme of time and its value in nature and for mankind.
The mere 1,800 bottles (per vintage) of Revei are the result of great experience and patience. Time plays a fundamental role in its production, maturation and ageing. It begins with the harvest of optimally ripened grapes and ends with 18 months of refinement in 700 litre wooden barrels and subsequent bottle ageing in the winery's cellars. Brilliant ruby red colour. Fruity and beguiling nose of ripe red berries and a delicate hint of cocoa. Juicy, pleasantly acidic on the palate, with a fine structure and velvety tannins. Impressive depth and length! SUPERIORE.DE
"The Les Crêtes 2019 Valle d'Aosta Pinot Nero Revei shows a pretty bouquet with wild berry and strawberry with blue fruit tones at the back. The wine reveals mid-weight texture, moderate length and soft tannins." Wine Advocate

“Contrada Cavaliere” Rosso Etna DOC 2018
Benanti's new red comes 100% from the small vineyard (Contrada) Cavaliere. The vineyards in the municipality of Santa Maria di Licodìa develop at considerable altitudes (about 900 m above sea level) with favourable conditions for all indigenous varieties, both red and white berries, grown here with Guyot pruning. Here, both the Nerello and the Carricante produce wines with a well-defined structure and varietal aromas.
Radiant ruby red. Ethereal bouquet full of spice and hints of red fruits. On the palate, medium-bodied, multilayered and with a fine tannin and acid wire that complete its elegance and harmony. SUPERIORE.DE

“Cupo” Fiano Campania IGT 2018
Only in the best years does Sabino Loffredo vinify a tiny portion of his best Fiano grapes from the Cru site in Toppole Montefredane as a single-site white wine. The result is called Cupo, is virtually hand-picked and can hardly be surpassed in purity and minerality. Slender and racy in the glass, it reveals an overwhelming freshness, notes of grapefruit and a subtle saltiness that is otherwise only found in the neighbour Quintodecimo or in the whites from Etna. A real class of its own and we are delighted to have been allowed a small allocation! SUPERIORE.DE
"Talented Sabino Loffredo's wines are identified by a sleek mineral tanginess. This 2018 vintage of his selection 'Cupo' from Montefredane is intense and smoky with Mirabelle plum and an iodine character. The palate is dominated by a Mojito-like flavour of lime and mint, with stone fruit in depth. It displays great refinement of phenolics, with a tight-knit structure and lifted acidity through to the finish. One of the greatest Fiano I have tasted in 2021." Decanter

“Maestro Raro” Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT 2017
Maestro Raro first shines with its vivid colour and then impresses with a bouquet that reveals a wonderful blackberry scent with spices, leather and tobacco aromas. The concentrated taste is soft and smooth, with a stable acidity that cooperates perfectly with the tannin structure. SUPERIORE.DE
"A big, rich cabernet with lots of currant, coffee, chocolate and cedar aromas and flavors. It’s full-bodied, very chewy and concentrated. Needs time to soften. Try after 2022." James Suckling
"The Fèlsina 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Maestro Raro is a spicy, generous and intense expression of this beautiful French grape with a wild Tuscan spirit. You can't escape those notes of sage and Mediterranean herb, with Morello cherry, wild plum and blackberry that give this wine a deep sense of territorial identity that transcends its varietal character. I notice that plumpness and softness of the fruit, the succulence too, that is tied to the hot growing conditions of the vintage. The wine is open-knit and ready." Wine Advocate
"A broad-shouldered style, matching blackberry, plum and graphite flavors to a solid structure. This is fresh and pretty well-balanced, with gravelly tannins shoring up the finish. Best from 2022 through 2038." Wine Spectator
"The 2017 Maestro Raro is a powerful, brooding wine. My impression is that as time goes by, the Maestro Raro, which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, becomes more and more a wine of the estate than a wine of variety, there is plenty of volume and depth in the dark fruit, but Maestro Raro is deeply marked by the wild, animal undertones that run through all of these wines. I would prefer to drink it over the next handful of years." Vinous

Syrah Toscana IGT 2020
Satta's almost black-purple Syrah with an extraordinary bouquet of blueberry and blackberry liqueur, tar and graphite shines with richness and intensity. Not a flatterer, but not an edgy representative either - a sensational wine for today and the years to come. SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark, bright ruby red. Compact on the nose with fine spice, blueberry, elderberry and dark chocolate. Supple on the palate entry, round and full mouthfeel, elegant, with rich fruit and lingering finish." Falstaff
"Lots of Mediterranean spices, wild herbs, black earth and sour cherries on the nose. Juicy and fresh with fleshy cherries and berries on the palate, rounded off by soft, silky tannins. Very drinkable now, but also capable of ageing." James Suckling
"The 2020 Syrah is full of Maremma character. Dark and brooding, the 2020 offers tons of depth but with no excess heaviness. Tobacco, scorched earth, leather and cloves build nicely in a mid-weight, layered Syrah that has so much to offer. Give this a few months to soften." Vinous

“Teatro alla Scala” Franciacorta DOCG 2018 brut
Fine Franciacorta Brut in light yellow gold with a delicate mousse. Very complex and intense on the nose, characterised by fine ripe yeast notes, brioche, delicately spiced, juicy yellow fruit, some peach and citrus. Complex and powerful on the palate, juicy fruit, with a fresh structure, a seductive, minimal extract sweetness on the finish and fine red berry nuances on the taut aftertaste. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, brilliant straw yellow with persistent perlage. Fragrant nose of salt lemon, cold smoke, fine cream, vanilla and fine wood. On the palate with a lot of melting, fine creaminess, very well-integrated perlage, in the final on noble yellow-fruity notes, plus beautiful saltiness." Falstaff
"The wine can be recognised by its black label and a small red seal with the inscription La Scala, which stands for the famous opera house Teatro alla Scala near Milan. It is a medium-bodied sparkling wine with roasted nuts and almonds surrounding fruit and Golden Delicious apple." Wine Advocate
"The 2018 Brut Franciacorta Teatro alla Scala rises from the glass with a flavoursome blend of dusty dried flowers, field grasses and a hint of brioche. It has an edgy character with a stimulating acidity and an echo of savoury bubbles that tantalise the senses. Sour citrus tickles the cheeks, while a hint of spicy ginger lingers." Vinous
"On the nose, notes of lemon, lime and pear are complemented by aromas of crusty bread. On the palate, a lively flavour unfolds with a core of fruit, especially green apple, accompanied by a subtle minerality. The wine has a tight and finesse-rich perlage." Wine Enthusiast

“Phileo” Vinschgauer Weißburgunder Alto Adige DOC 2017
The name "phileo" is based on the first name Filomena of the mother of the current owner Franz Pratzner. She played a major role in shaping Weinhof Falkenstein, which is why a selection from the best Pinot Blanc vineyards was created for the first time in 2016 and will henceforth bear her name.
This spontaneously fermented Pinot Bianco sets standards - in its creaminess, its present acidity and minerality and with its great ageing potential. With its delicate apple aromas and subtle vanilla and citrus notes, it is a benchmark for what is probably the most famous white grape variety in the region! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, elegant light gold. In the nose with a fine fragrance of light honey, orange peel and ripe pear, discreetly of cream, in the aftertaste of candied lemon zest, light herbal spice. On the palate full, warm-hearted and with a lot of melting, spreads great over the tongue, with well-integrated acidity, taut and yet elegant, remains present for a long time in the finish." Falstaff
"Burgundian-style winemaking often doesn't work well for dry pinot blanc, but this has stunning integration of fruit and fine oak with touches of coconut and candied orange peel. Really concentrated and long, but also so clean and precise." James Suckling

“Retus” Vinschgauer Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2018
The name "retus" comes from "Rhaetia" or "Raetia", the name of the Roman province. In Celtic, "reit" refers to a mountain village.
Bright straw green. Wild herbs, orange peel, green fruits and spices on the nose. Round and broad on the attack, then more straightforward and restrained in the middle, with enough saline edge and harmonious acidity to buffer the subtle fruit sweetness. Limitation of 3 articles per customer“Sirì d’Jermu” Dogliani Superiore DOCG 2018 · MAGNUM
Sirì d'Jermu 2018 is one of the most elegant and complete wines we have ever tasted from Pecchenino. Its dark, jammy fruit is of fabulous intensity, and the silky tannins give it support and texture. A stunning wine that impresses with its lush, flattering fruit and big, expansive personality. Big, but not at all overdone. SUPERIORE.DE
"There is an extra dimension to this red, with fine depth to its raspberry, cherry, currant, mineral and anise flavors. It's fluid, yet well-structured too, with a light astringency offsetting the fruit on the long finish." Wine Spectator
"Showing a medium dark appearance with a saturated garnet color, the Pecchenino 2018 Dogliani Superiore Sirì d'Jermu is a vibrant and exuberant wine. It shows those fun and food-friendly characteristics that make Dolcetto such a popular choice in the best taverns and mom & pop restaurants of the Langhe. The bouquet is very primary in character with blackberry, Morello cherry and sour plum. There is nice freshness here to cut though lasagna or wood-oven pizza." Wine Advocate
"A dense, beautiful Dogliani with licorice and berry character and hints of hot stones. Delicious, juicy finish." James Suckling
"The 2018 Dogliani Superiore Sirì d'Jermu is quite elegant and poised. Blue/purplish fruit lavender, spice, mocha, licorice and dried herbs all grace this super-expressive mid-weight Dogliani. A vibrant Dolcetto." Vinous

“Brolio” Chianti Classico DOCG 2020 · MAGNUM in OWC
Rich, dark shimmering ruby colour. Open-hearted, dense bouquet of blackberry, plums and a delicate hint of clove in the background. Juicy flavour, shows supple tannins, spreads out beautifully. A great Chianti Classico every year with an exemplary price/quality ratio. SUPERIORE.DE
"Ruby red with light violet reflections. The nose presents red fruits such as cherry, redcurrant, plum and a pleasantly spicy final. Well-structured, juicy and persistent on the palate, with good acidity." Falstaff
"Medium carmine red colour. Leafy cherry and rhubarb with chalky notes on the nose. Cranberries, redcurrants and sour cherries on the palate, strong but not hard tannins on the finish. Long and lively, almost too lively." Jancis Robinson
"The 2020 Chianti Classico is bright, powerful and full of short-term appeal. I would prefer to drink the 2020 over the next few years while the red-fleshed Sangiovese flavours retain their youthful energy. This flavoursome Chianti Classico has a lot to offer." Vinous
"The 2020 Chianti Classico Brolio is a great value with really beautiful, clean and simple lines. It's a classic blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Colorino, perfect for everyday drinking. It offers flavours of cherries, blue flowers and earth, and it has a refreshing acidity." Wine Advocate
"This juicy red is characterised by aromas of cherries, tomato leaves and olives. It has a bright acidity with dusty tannins that flex on the finish. A straightforward, well-defined version." Wine Spectator
"Aromas of dark cherries, mocha, leather and tea leaves. It is medium-bodied with fine tannins. Lively and fresh, with lots of red cherries and berries in the centre of the palate and a flavourful finish. Typical of an outstanding Chianti Classico." James Suckling
"With fruit sourced from vineyards on all five of Brolio’s key soil types, this Chianti Classico is defined by balance and round complexity. Deep cherry, plum and sloe flavours are supported by velvety yet firm tannins. A lining of liquorice, clove and violets lifts the mid-palate and drives the refreshing finish." Decanter

“Sol” Sauvignon Bianco Friuli Colli Orientali DOC 2019
"I think it's safe to say that Serena Palazzolo and her husband Christian Patat are at the top of their game, which means that the wines of Ronco del Gnemiz are among the best made in Friuli today. There is a lot to choose from here, because the transparency of the terroir is paramount. It may be easier to sell and market one or two Sauvignons, Chardonnay or Friulano wines, but the differences between each hill, each site and the age of each vineyard create such unique expressions that it would be a shame not to produce all six.
Standing on the hill where this winery is located, looking out over Rosazzo in the Colli Orientali, it becomes clear why these vineyard designations are so important to the future of the region. These hills rise and fall like bubbles rising from the earth and dropping to the horizon. I can imagine a winemaker's fascination with each of these unique sites. If you were to make a short list of the best producers in Friuli, you should put Ronco del Gnemiz at the top of the list." Vinous
Strong yellow-green, dense bouquet packed with opulent fruit aromas. On the palate complex, juicy and very well integrated wood notes. Despite its extroverted nature, the Sauvignon Sol never loses its essential minerality and elegance. Possesses class, length and potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Sol is a little more extroverted and fruit-driven than the Péri, but that doesn't mean it lacks character and verve. Dried apricot, peach and vanilla bean gain depth with a squeeze of lime and a hint of wild herbs. The soft, almost oily texture is balanced by notes of tart green apple, ginger and zesty spice, creating an expression of contrast. Hints of kiwi, sour melon and salty mineral tones linger impressively as the residual acids slowly fade. The Sol comes from a lower parcel in the estate's vineyards, planted on rocky, chalky soils." Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2018
Rose petals, mint, cinnamon, dark sweet cherries and smoke lift from the glass in a translucent, wiry Brunello that builds on energy, power and opulence. Here, length and fruit are in the foreground and, together with a clearly defined tannin structure, Leopoldo Franceschi's team has produced a wine here in a very classic vintage that will really reveal itself over the next few years. As always, it is one of our favourites, and its still outstanding value is also great fun! SUPERIORE.DE
"Wide-ranging bouquet with lots of cedar, ripe red and dark fruits, wild strawberries, cassis and red currants. Behind this, the wood barrel ageing also shows with fine cedar, cloves and dark spices as well as herbs. Rich, almost meaty and dense palate, not quite as dense as 2016, but immensely present freshness and dynamism, also the tannin network seems a bit leaner than usual and of best quality. Very persistent and long aftertaste with crunchy berries on the final." Weinwisser
"Firm, a touch animalic aroma of ripe mixed berries and a hint of plums with fleshy notes, tart nutty hints, pepper and ethereal herbal tones. Taut, tart, ripe, quite dense fruit, present, fine, youthful tannin and some acid bite, persistent, slightly herbaceous, tobacco and peppery, clearly salt in the background, plenty of power but also freshness, not eternally deep but perfectly vinified, very good, firm, tart finish." Wein-Plus
"Bright ruby red. Spicy-animalic nose, then ripe Amarena cherry and plum, walnut, undergrowth, shoe polish. On the palate equally earthy tones, wide-meshed tannin, plus dark fruit." Falstaff
"Shiny, deep ruby red. In the nose still quite closed with just a hint of Moroccan leather. On the palate pure cherry fruit flavours with lots of ripe acidity. Fantastic, compact, gravelly tannins that are a real tour de force in this vintage. A hedonistic whole that you can already approach but will improve with time." Jancis Robinson
"A smoky entry leads to leather and tobacco nuances that repeat on the palate. The 2018 is packed with flavours of cherries and baking spices. It feels medium-bodied but is very rich and its powerful bite contributes positively to the pleasing mouthfeel. It will get even better with another year in bottle." Decanter
"This is a flavourful, complex Brunello with aromas of fresh and sour cherries, plums, bay leaves, rosemary and olives. Also cloves and liquorice. It is medium to full-bodied with firm, fine-grained tannins. Supple and well integrated, with a long and deliciously spicy finish." James Suckling
"The Il Poggione 2018 Brunello di Montalcino shows a dark and spicy character with more fruit weight and concentration than can be found in many of its competitors. This wine shows a dense focus padded with dark cherry, blackberry, roasted spice, mahogany smoked meat and ploughed earth. Despite the powerful flavours, this Sangiovese is actually quite lean and polished in texture. The tannins are soft and easily accessible. The estate's Riserva Vigna Paganelli was not made in 2018, so the fruit from this wine came here instead." Wine Advocate
"The dense structure sets the pace for this red wine, with aromas of cherry, raspberry, mint and tar that are appealing and expressive. Rosehip, orange peel and earth are evident in the long, expansive aftertaste. It is designed to last a long time." Wine Spectator
"The 2018 Brunello di Montalcino impresses from the first swirl of the glass, with a heady burst of exotic spices and crushed ash giving way to dried black cherries and grilled herbs. It combines the energy of the vintage with the dark, balsamic fruits of Montalcino's southern foothills, while zesty acidity maintains balance and minerals saturate towards the finish. The finish is long, savoury and structured, but its tannins are rounder than expected, giving it a classic feel but also leaving a delicious sensation that tempts the taster to reach for the glass again and again. The 2018 is certainly one of the top wines of the vintage, not to be missed." Vinous
"One of the first wineries to deal in Brunello, one of the founding members of the Consortium. A Brunello characterised by freshness, pomegranate on the nose, hints of citrus thyme and white pepper. The palate has juicy tannins with a fruity return." Luca Gardini

“Core” Aglianico Campania IGT 2017 · MAGNUM in gift box
Montevetrano's "second wine" shows, as so often, the great class of Silvia Imparato's winery. Great Aglianico nose of blue flowers, wild berries, blackberries and black cherry. Silky and powerful at the same time, very deep and herbaceous, with a fine mineral vein and a well-proportioned tannin. The already existing elegance will increase with further maturity. Very successful! SUPERIORE.DE
"Sweet violet florals lift effortlessly from the 2017 Montevetrano Core, followed by white smoke, crushed blackberry, and cherry, as dark earth tones evolve. On the palate, silky textures are complemented by polished black fruits, as savory herbs and minerals slowly saturate the senses. The finish is medium in length, resonating on mineral-laden dark fruits and hints of spice, with a coating of fine tannin providing grip. I find myself craving more depth here, yet this is wonderfully balanced and already very easy to like." Vinous
"The Montevetrano 2017 Aglianico Core reveals a dark and velvety appearance with pretty color saturation. Core is a genuine and honest wine that does a very nice job of portraying the basics of Aglianico. You get the power and structure of the fruit, as well as the grape's dark and savory aromas of blackberry, cassis and dark cherry. The wine also promises freshness and accessibility. Try this with a montanara fritta, a fried, thick mini-pizza from Naples stuffed with provolone, salami and tomato sauce." Wine Advocate
"A full-bodied and structured red with spice, black-pepper and bark undertones to the cherries and dried fruit. Some dried earth, too. Extremely powerful. Try after 2023." James Suckling

Sauvignon Peri comes from the oldest vines on the estate and is a very classic, downright austere interpretation of Sauvignon Bianco. Vintage 2017 offers a lot of varietal character and is very aromatic, yet has a very fine coolness. Green apple, pear, gooseberry and spices meld into a multi-layered and deep finish. For us, it is a classic white meditation wine. SUPERIORE.DE
