    The secret of this exceptional Rosso lies hidden in the blossoming fields between the organically cultivated rows of vines in Poliziano. Fiori Rossi – a name that alludes like a promise to the fragrance and poetry of this landscape, where Federico Carletti turns the authenticity screw. This latest creation from the winery comes from ancient Prugnolo Gentile clones, the selections from which gave Montepulciano wines supra-regional importance as early as the Middle Ages. From the historic vineyards of the 1960s, now replanted at an altitude of 300 to 400 metres with meticulous attention to the microclimate, a "Super-Rosso" of incomparable identity is created.

    Eight months in large French oak barrels give this 100 per cent Sangiovese an almost Burgundian finesse, while intense ruby tones testify to the purity of organic farming. Wild berries and sour cherries on limestone, laurel spice and complex peppery notes unfold into an aromatic potpourri that combines history and modernity.
