    After the difficult 2023, 2024 presented a different challenge: rainy spring, dry midsummer, then eight days of rain in September just before the harvest. Not a vintage for comfort. Siro Pacenti – with his clearly defined plots, old vines in the Pelagrilli clay loam and the determined craftsmanship of Giancarlo Pacenti – selected more than usual this year in order to preserve what is typical.

    What lands in the glass is quieter than its predecessor, but no less sincere. Light ruby red in colour. Fresh red fruit, rose, lavender and minerality on the nose. Smooth on the palate, with a silky texture and a lively, juicy freshness that makes this vintage immediately accessible. Not a wine for the cellar for decades, but one for the table today.
