Black cherry red with a violet rim. On the nose, notes of spices such as ginger, cinnamon, dried coriander and vanilla pod, rounded off with fruit aromas of pomegranate and cherry, and floral nuances such as geranium, lavender and rose. On the palate, fresh rose sugar and graphite, accompanied by raspberry, cherry, fresh plum and cranberries. A long finish with a subtle hint of cassis. SUPERIORE.DE

"The 2020 vintage was hotter than 2019, and the tannins are quite firm and distinctly present – a deep ruby red colour with violet highlights. Dark blackcurrant and violet notes develop alongside the intensity of these powerful, robust and muscular tannins. Balance is achieved through good natural acidity and a lively finish with spicy, herbaceous notes and dusty minerality, with hints of white pepper. The Tinata is a unique blend for this region of Tuscany and consists each year of 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache." Decanter
