    What distinguishes a Riserva from an Annata? Time. Time to select the best Sangiovese grapes from the estate's twelve plots. Time for a 25-day vinification process that is conducted with the utmost respect for tradition. And time for at least 21 months in French oak barrels, followed by further bottle ageing before the wine leaves the estate.

    This patience creates a Chianti Classico of remarkable depth. Dark ruby red in colour with fine garnet hues. The bouquet is multi-layered: intense black berries, ripe plums, underpinned by cinnamon, cloves and a hint of walnut. Earthy notes and wet earth add complexity. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and at the same time polished – velvety tannins, juicy acidity, a structure that promises longevity without sacrificing accessibility.
