A rich, deep ruby colour with a subtle violet sheen. A compact and appealing nose, revealing crisp fruit – particularly blackcurrants and mulberries – underpinned by subtle chocolate notes. Extremely precise on the palate too: ripe, fresh fruit opens up with firm, tightly woven tannins, developing rich body, before becoming juicy and long-lasting in final vibrant final.  SUPERIORE.DE

"A deep ruby red with violet highlights and a slightly lighter rim. On the nose, very spicy notes of cedarwood, cigar box, juniper berries and black elderberries. On the palate, it has a rich, juicy core with tightly integrated tannins and is very herbally spicy on final long final." Falstaff

"A lovely balance between freshness and concentration. Aromas of spices, tobacco, earth and violets. On the palate, flavours of fresh cherries and black and red berries, with a juicy mid-palate and silky tannins. Good length." James Suckling
