Mongrana Rosso is a blend – in the most literal sense of the word. Up to nine grape varieties, including Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, are cultivated individually, harvested separately – each at their optimum phenolic ripeness –fermented individually, then blended in an elaborate tasting process to create the wine that best expresses this vintage. No fixed recipe, no scheme – just the decision of the year. Cement maturation for at least ten months, biodynamically farmed, vegan.

Intense ruby red colour. Marasca cherry, blackberry, blueberry on the nose, followed by cherry brandy, ivy, needles and a hint of liquorice – lively and Mediterranean. Juicy and balanced on the palate, with expressive fruit and remarkable freshness. Long, harmonious, without compromise.
