Sweet, dark and lush, the 2013 shows all the richness of a 100% Sangiovese Vin Santo and equally possesses remarkable restraint for such a big wine, with plenty of intensity but always without excess weight. Hints of leather, liquorice and cloves round off the silky, medium-bodied and very harmonious finish. SUPERIORE.DE
