    The 2017 Barolo La Serra emerges from the glass with a playful bouquet of dark red fruits, tar, smoke, liquorice, spices and new leather. The high-toned notes of rose petals, which are typical of this vineyard near La Morra, are complemented by fine strawberry and raspberry notes, resulting in a wonderfully elegant and subtle overall package that is an attractive, extremely elegant Barolo that is hard to beat in terms of finesse, purity and length.
